Primitive camping is permitted at designated wooded high grounds in the middle of the property. It is a 5 and 10-minute rugged hike in to the middle ground respectively. The trail remains under development, so please bring close-toed shoes or boots for hiking throughout the property (depending on rainfall, there may be mud and water).
We have two primitive campsites These campsites are first come first serve, they are not assigned when booking.
Our Glamper tent is a 10x12 canvas furnished full size bed with bedding, pillows and enough floor space for two sleeping bags.
The tents are located off a short trial, but rugged 2-minute hike from the parking area. We provide the opportunity to go camping without having to pack the tent.
Closed toed shoes are highly suggested as well as plenty of lighting with batteries or solar charging capability. This is a rugged, fun and serene camping experience.
Located less than 10 mins to Navarre Beach, - 30 mins to Pensacola Beach, - 15 mins to Naval Live Oaks, - 45 mins to Fort Pickens, - 50 mins to NAS Pensacola, - 45 mins to Santa Rosa Island, - 35 mins to Okaloosa Island, - 40 mins to Destin.

In this leafy paradise lives gopher tortoises (they act like gophers, but are tortoises!), alligators, black bears, and the skunk ape, also known as the “stink ape,” which bears an uncanny resemblance to bigfoot. Areas of recreation include Ocean Pond--a fave place for boaters, skiiers, and campers, and Olustee Beach for swimming, fishing, and picnicking. The park is also open to hunters and fishermen with permits. With so much land to explore in this National Forest, we wouldn’t be surprised if bigfoot was hiding in there!

We have a nice little RV pad on the back of our coastal home. Situated on a little bayou that opens out into Choctawhatchee Bay. Crab Island is only a 10 minute boat ride away. You would have access to our small dock and there is a neighborhood boat ramp less than one hundred feet away. This is a great place for kayaks, wave runners, and small boats. If you don't have a boat, we can set up any kind of trip you want. We are all licensed captains and own multiple Crab Island businesses. So we can set up charters for you on the following boats:
Sailing trip on a restored 1963 Pearson Ensign. Can accommodate up to 6 people. This is a classic sailboat that is easy to sail and easy to learn to sail.
A restored 1966 Boston Whaler that is perfect for couples looking for a sunset cruise, etc. Can accommodate up to 6 people but it perfect for 2 -4. We can go to Crab Island, look for dolphins or find our own private island beach.
Waverunner tours. We can take you on a guided wave runner tour looking for dolphins and private beaches. You will drive one wave runner while our licensed captain guided you on another one. Insurance does not allow us to rent these out solo but there are many good vendors in the area to do that.
Inshore flats skiff targeting redfish and trout on light spinning gear and fly rods. This boat is best fished with no more than 3 people.

The neighborhood is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Fort Walton with large oaks and magnolias providing plenty of shade for bike riding and walking. Downtown Fort Walton with its shops and quaint restaurants is only a mile away. Didn't bring a bike, we have 2 you can use.
During the summer, there are fireworks every Wednesday night that are viewable from this spot.

Our two level (full hookup) RV pads are on beautiful Anastasia Island within walking distance to the Atlantic ocean, Pier Court Park and the St. Augustine Amphitheater. Anastasia State Park is within a mile. St. Augustine is just over the Bridge of Lions three miles away.
Each pad has its own furnished patio and small green yard space. We have a small fishing lake in the back yard (unfenced). There is a national bird rookery preserve a few blocks away so the bird watching is wonderful. There is an alligator farm and a dolphin aquarium on the island., as well as a historic continuous working light house and Maritime Museum. Our pads are just across the Bridge of Lions (2 miles) from the Oldest USA city, St. Augustine, Fl. The historic Fountain of Youth is here along with Castillo de San Marcus National Monument, St. George Street, the historic district plus many other attractions.
We have two level paver RV Pads. They both have electric, black and grey water cleanout, fast high speed internet (full hookup). They each have private patios for picnics, socializing, and relaxing. Both pads have high speed internet.
Pad 1 accommodates an RV up to up to 28' in length.
Pad 2 accommodates an RV up to 34' in length.
We accept small Class A Motorhomes (34' and under), Class B, Class C, Small 5th Wheel, Pop-up Campers, Vans and Travel Trailers.
Sorry, no tent camping is allowed.
There is also a large back deck with picnic area overlooking the small fishing lake in the back yard.

Bring your tent, van or small camper and share our slice of paradise! You'll have the camp site all to yourself--we sometimes need to water the garden, but otherwise avoid the camping area when it's occupied. Enjoy a variety of seating areas on our half acre lot full of fruit trees and flowers, or watch the sunset from the hot tub. Camping is easy with washer, dryer, fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, coffee pot, toaster and blender, all in an air-conditioned shed. Don't want to cook inside? Use the propane Jennair grill with gazebo and lights. Clean up is a breeze with our stainless steel triple sink and 4 gal hot water tank.

What a special place! Absolutely perfect for us. We are traveling to see all the state parks and springs in Florida and needed a private site as our original plan was full. We were able to pull in and catch the sunset. Beautiful private walkway to the beach. Felt like we were the only ones in our own little rv park while everyone else was in vacation homes. We absolutely LOVED it. Privacy. Beautiful star gazing, wonderful place. We usually visit each place once but this is a spot we will come back to for sure! Thank you!

Karin and Phil are the best. They have put together a beautiful camping spot in their quiet and fenced area. So many amenities made our stay more like being in a luxury campground but we had the entire property to ourselves. Laundry facilities, a toilet and a shower, sinks for washing up and sinks for washing the dishes, a big beautiful grill and even a hot tub. There are beautiful gardens brimming with vegetables growing right there, and fresh fruits to eat, and even flowers all for the guests! You can tell that Phil and Karin, have big hearts for their guests and they are beautiful people and have a very nice camping spot.

My family and I love this spot so much we came back for our 2nd trip. I highly recommend Fathom's Restaurant while you're there! The public beach was very nice to visit for a day. The tide was very very low on our last day and it was so awesome to be able to walk out and explore. This visit we saw SO many dolphins in the bay. There were jellyfish, sting rays, crabs near the campsite and it was wonderful to watch them. At the public beach a group of manatees come in the water so close to shore too!

The location was small and cozy. Every spot has a beautiful view of the water. We were lucky enough to get a spot right along the water's edge. The pier was perfect. Our son had a great time fishing. The staff was amazing, sweet and attentive. They had a few quaint little spots to sit and relax.
The bathrooms and showers were very clean! We took our Husky and so the mini dog park was perfect to let her off leash for a bit as she's used to roaming a big property. Can't wait to go back.

My family and I loved camping here! The site is very spacious, quiet, and private. We had no issues getting into the site and were able to hook up to everything in no time at all. The sunsets were amazing! Having wifi and a washing machine was a very nice perk. The proximity to the beach was awesome and having the outdoor shower to rinse the sand off was very convenient. We would absolutely stay here again. It was myself and three teenagers with pets and I felt extremely safe staying here. I have a 21 foot camper and had more than enough room.

We loved our stay at this perfect location. We have a 34ft camper. The site made it very easy to set up even at 2am after driving all day.
We had plenty of room for us and our three miniature schnauzers.
The walk to the beach was short and taking a wagon was quite easy. This part of the beach is beautiful and mostly families and couples.
We would definitely visit again.

Here's what we did...
Camped on site. Hooked up to fresh and sewer. Made arrangements w/ Eric for a Sunset Cruise on Sunday. Eric and his family (wife and daughters) are great 'salt-o-earth' folks. Easy. Accommodating. Communicative. Its not a remote camp in the Colorado woods, but it is aomewhat private and the folks make their presence scarce. Ask about Crab Isl. Ask about the great public beaches in FWB. Eric and Darlene are life-long residents and can give all the pointers you'd want. The spot is 100' from water. Bring your own boat or kayak. I had arranged for a cruise at sunset with a little extra heap'n helpin of 'romantic', and they delivered! A great down home presentation of goodies, all the stuff for beverages of your choice, and a private spot to watch the sun set over western skies. Our Cap'n Darlene superbly maneuvered into secluded islands and beaches. Go ashore and she'll set up chairs on a secluded beach. Or choose to stay aboard and she will go find the best spot to watch the colors. She is there to please. All in all, great spot to camp with great folks providing a touch and knowledge of what's what. Book'em if you like something a little less noisy and more refined in all the right ways. Great folks!

30 ft travel trailer

Great camping site we had a 30 ft travel trailer. Lots of room for parking. Dump site on site. Water hookup on site. Beach access within walking distance. Other Beach accesses the park to the west and also there are free parking to the east and west for beach access. Check the beach access out to the east near the fire station. We biked and hiked the beaches biked bike trails had our kayaks but it was too windy unfortunately but we had a great time anyway

Third trip to Eum Runner did not disappoint. Weather was windy but that helped to move the clouds away. Leila has upgraded the water spigot and added a shower. Things were just as it should be. We anticipated the height of the sewer pipe so we brought an elevated sewer hose adapter. They were building a new home across the street In. the previously empty lot but the construction and painters were super nice. Make sure you park about 7 feet away from the fence to get the best leveling. It still gives plenty of room to picnic space. We'll be back soon ! : D
