We have it all here at Seminole Springs. We are open for tent camping.First come, First serve. We also have 3 units inside the lodge for the people who need just a step up from glamping, but not quite the whole hotel experience. These are beautiful comfortable rooms with half baths in the rooms. The showers are located in the lodge bathhouse. WE have the Jungle themed room, the Equestrian themed room and the Honeymoon Suite. Each unit comes equipped with its own hot tub. (To book any of these units, just send us a message and we will reserve it for you. The prices for these units are different than that campsite and glamping site prices.) The Grist Mill is also available for rent too! This is a very romantic, yet rustic getaway equipped with a half bath as well. Very secluded and private overlooking the spring on one side and the water fall on the other. Sit outside on the deck and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature and at night the sound of the waterfall will lull you to sleep. The shower is located in the Lodge bathhouse. Your GPS may tell you to turn at the wrong St. Make sure that you are turning at 244th...Your GPS may tell you to turn at 243rd Street (where the Orange Market it) which is a dead end street. Just go a little bit further until you see the sign for Camp Seminole Spring. Bring bug spray and sun screen. If you need something, don't worry! There is a Dollar General, a gas station and a small cafe within walking distance. We have 38 acres of camping sites nature trails for hiking and mountain biking. Guests can park right on their site, or they have the option of parking and hiking into the woods to set up their site a bit more remote and off the beaten path. This is rustic camping. We have a bathhouse located at the campsites with showers. The bathhouse at the Great Lodge hereas we do have garbage cans, we prefer that anything you bring into the property, you bring out with you. We allow campfires. The fishing is amazing in these parts, so if you are an angler, come and visit. We have .75 miles of frontage on the Orange Creek. The creek flows into Lake Ocklawaha which just so happens to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in the USA. In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish. Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature. It appears to be ‘off the beaten path’, yet it is close enough to civilization so that even the most seasoned camper can make a quick run to store should he or she need something not found in nature. Camp Seminole Spring is mid-way (approx.. 22 miles) between Ocala and Gainesville, Florida, which are two thriving cities in this area of Florida. Ocala, the ‘horse capital of the world’ showcases a brand new multi-billion-dollar equestrian center which draws people from all over the world. This scenic property has an artesian spring which pushes out 1.6 million gallons of water per day rated among the top three percent of water in the world with an 8.4 natural pH. This water fills the pond and then continues on to flow into Orange Creek. Camp Seminole Springs was established in the 1940’s as a honeymoon resort and campground. The founders built a heart-shaped ‘pond-spring’ which is filled with the crystal-clear water pushed out from the spring where guests can lounge by the beach or gaze down into the bottom through the glass-like water or take a refreshing swim. At the top of the hill overlooking the heart-shaped spring, one will find the rustic Great Lodge where guests can come and mingle with each other, enjoy a relaxing conversation and a drink on the veranda or just sit and watch the activity in and around the spring.

The farm you’re camping on is one of the last family farms remaining in Columbia County and is named Glenn Farm after DV Glenn who married Hettie Lou Niblack in the 1930’s. Over the last 150 years it has been farmed by some of the county’s oldest families such as the Niblack and Ellis families. When DV Glenn came to Florida from his farm in Cairo, GA he took over the portion of the Niblack farm that was inherited by his wife Hettie Lou. At that time he was running native Florida cattle on over 6000 acres. Unfortunately, In 1951 he was killed in a hunting accident leaving his wife with the farm and 4 children (ages 4-11). In order to survive, Hettie Lou Niblack Glenn was forced to sell 5000 acres at $25 an acre. Holding a bachelors degree from Florida State College for Women, she was able to secure a job at the University of Florida as a secretary and with the money from the land sale she was able to raise her four children. Of the original farm, 600 acres remain intact and the Glenn family is trying to keep the farm as an agricultural operation. Your campsite is 1 of 4 spots (Arrowhead Sink, Dunagan’s Meadow, North Hall Pasture or Magnolia Sink). We also have a 1 bedroom Tiny home that used to be the farm office. Dunagan’s meadow is a pasture behind the old farmhouse (built in 1824), Magnolia sink and The North Hall Pasture are also on the main farm while Arrowhead Sink is on the edge of a hayfield about a mile down a dirt road. Glenn Farm is a place to come relax and experience a world that is rapidly disappearing. It is not a commercial campground.

Frank Page purchased the Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground in 2008 which included the original seven acres of the lower portion of the Rendezvous. At that time there were only a few buildings and the primitive campground area. Frank started cleaning the area and stabilizing all the buildings. In 2009 another 20 acres was purchased, which is now considered the upper area of the Rendezvous. In 2010, another seven acres were added to the property. Frank planned and constructed the Upper Rendezvous area which was completed in 2012 and added 136 RV sites as well as the dog park, barn and pigeon coop. The dog park has five sections, for both small and large dogs, with ample room to run. Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground Pool Frank began raising pigeons in 2012. The first pigeons purchased were homing pigeons, which started the Pigeon Races that are still a fun, family favorite event on Saturday afternoons. Frank also bought and started raising other pigeons, the Birmingham Roller. Birmingham Rollers are a very popular breed of domesticated pigeons that originated in Birmingham, England, where they were developed via selective breeding for their ability to do rapid backward somersaults while flying. You can often see them flying around the Upper Rendezvous in the mornings and afternoons. These pigeons are used for our weekly Pigeon Races.

Set up was a breeze on arrival. Jay met me and showed me my boondocking site - flat and plenty of room to pull in and circle around for my 26' TT. Keyed and gated entry was nice. Each day I heard the neighbor's rooster and a braying donkey - far enough away to be unobtrusive and near enough to be enjoyed. Other campers down the road were either tent campers or RVs enjoying full hookups. Met some nice folks! Only had 2 other boondocking neighbors during my 7 night stay. Jay and Suzette were lovely and welcoming. Enjoyed evening conversation while the guys played horseshoes. The laundry/shower/toilet rooms were clean and well kept. Laundry rate was very reasonable. I enjoyed my time there so much I extended my stay a few more days. You might want to bring your own fresh water as the water hose by the tank dump is not technically potable due to its location.

I loved camping at Sandy stars! There was a tent nearby, but I couldn’t hear them. The directions were really clear. The hosts were amazing and super helpful. We rented a kayak from them. You’re far enough back where you have your space and feel safe but yet still secluded. I highly recommend this site! I highly recommend all sites at this location!

Both Arcadio and his wife were a pleasure to get to know. They made my husband and I feel like we were longtime friends that they invited to their home. No water but we felt like we had an authentic camping experience. Besides, we were jumping in the spring head every day and floating on a tube down the river. Clean enough for camping in my opinion. Great location for boondockers It was extremely convenient as Arcadio offers for purchase firewood, and farm fresh eggs from the chickens on his farm. He also offers for rent his movie projector and you can pick any movie streaming. It was a very fun experience to watch a movie outside. They have cute pigs and goats. The best is they’re only minutes from Rainbow Springs and KP Hole and he had availability! Something the state park rarely has on a last-minute notice. We only booked two weeks ahead. We will be back.

Great place for tent camping near the water. There are also cabins and RV sites, but the two primitive sites are right on the Sante Fe. Great views and easy access for kayaks and paddle boards or just fishing off the shore. The rooster crows every morning, and there is all kinds of wildlife to see. We saw an owl and a badger on this trip! This place is an actual slice of heaven, and the hosts are always friendly and a accommodating.

The pool is the cleanest I have ever seen while traveling and the other campers were very respectful and fun. The hang out spot by the ice cream spot wound up being one of our favorites and overall we had a great experience.

We had a fantastic stay at Bowman's River Landing in RV Site 9. The site was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for our overlanding camper setup. You can tell they truly care about the property. Recent improvements like the upgraded fire pits and common grill shelters really enhance the experience. Peaceful setting, great amenities, and a perfect base for exploring the area. We’ll definitely be back!

Can’t imagine a better camping experience and wish we had stayed even longer! 3 days next to the swimmable Santa Fe river at campsite 2 was lovely, the site felt secluded, great bathrooms, coffee and tea bar, kayak rentals, convenient firewood at all hours, close drive to a little general store and all the most beautiful springs. Thankful for the people that run this place and will be returning ASAP!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Tom and Judy’s Hipcamp and this place is something special. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how beautiful the property is. The wide open field is peaceful and scenic, surrounded by tall, broad oak trees that give just the right mix of shade and sun. It’s the kind of place where you immediately relax and slow down. The animals were a huge highlight to include friendly sheep, curious donkeys, and gentle cows roaming nearby added so much character and made the experience feel unique and memorable (especially if you’re bringing kids or just enjoy being around animals). Everything was very well maintained. The campsite itself was clean and thoughtfully set up, and even the outhouse was spotless, which honestly says a lot about the care Tom and Judy put into their property. On top of that, the location is perfect. There are several incredible springs nearby, and we spent our days kayaking, snorkeling, and swimming in crystal-clear water. It’s hard to beat that combination of peaceful camping and easy access to outdoor adventure. Tom and Judy were wonderful hosts. Both friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about the family farm. We’ll absolutely be back. If you’re looking for a relaxing, scenic, and genuinely enjoyable camping experience, this is it.
