You'll be privately tucked into a quiet corner of our property where you have a walking trail and full access to our stocked pond for fishing or just hanging out.
There's a little Columbia County Park co-managed with Suwannee River Water Management District across the street. The park has a boardwalk that takes you out to view the waterfall, picnic tables, a playground and a historic church.

The property is 5 min to Interstate 75 (414 Exit). O'Leno State (https://www.floridastateparks.org/parks-and-trails/oleno-state-park) is a 5 min drive. We have a life time park pass so entry to the park is free for us. Please ask us about that. We have power and water only at our Hip-camp. We have 3 RV slips on the property, each with 50 Amp electric and water hookups.
Ichetucknee Springs State Park (https://ichetuckneesprings.com/) 15-20 min drive from our site. We also have access to the private areas on Itchetucknee and Santa Fe River and have kayaks, paddle boards, tubes, and other inflatable.
Ginnie Springs (https://ginniespringsoutdoors.com/) and Rum Island (https://www.lakecityfl.com/listing/rum-island-spring-and-park) are also a short drive from our site.
We also have a large tent camping area with 5 tent sites that are covered and have access to power and water.
The Radiant Oaks Center is adjacent to the R/V sites and camping area. This facility is used for retreats. R/V's and campers will have access to 2 full bathrooms and fully equipped ped kitchen area with refrigerator stove and microwave, coffeemaker and plenty pots, pans and dishes. The kitchen may have limited access during special events or retreats.
There are several fire pits and open fields for frisbee, volley ball, horse shoes, and corn hole games in the camping area. The building also has a large covered outdoor pouch area with lights and fans for rainy days, to hang out. reading, card games, etc.
As mentioned earlier, we are on 80+ acres and plenty of room to roam and trails to explore.
The city of High Springs and Lake City are each a short drive away have lots of shops, restaurants, and groceries. Feel free to ask us for recommendations.
This is a working agriculture area with lots of wild life. We are not responsible injuries caused by animals, fauna, or fences that you may encounter.

A buddy and I truck camped on campsite 1 here in early March. There were no skeeters and the night time temperatures were excellent. I like that the camp spaces have generous room. It’s hard to put into words how my camping experience was at Blackwater Ranch Campground… serene, relaxing. Three days wasn’t enough, so I extended it two more days and I had the campground to myself the whole time, just me and my doggie and he didn’t have to be on a leash. The host was awesome! He welcomed me and gave me a complementary bundle of wood to get me started. I came to rejuvenate myself and I’m so incredibly sad to leave! But I’m sure anyone would be sad leaving here to go back to Minnesota 😭. It was such a blessing. I recommend it to everyone! The perfect little getaway! White sand beaches along the river. Nice little walking paths in the woods. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Great overnight stop about 25 minutes from I75. Easy pull through - we have 26 feet TT. Pretty private. April greeted us shortly after we arrived and unfortunately we couldn't kayak, but fresh eggs were delish. Our stay was short, so cant comment on amenities.

I did not want to leave. I stayed for 4 days with my dogs and it was the most relaxed we’ve been on a cross country trip. There were cows to watch, resident geese, ducks and lots of other birds around to observe. The pond was perfect for the kayak and my dogs to swim whenever they wanted. Full hook ups were easy to use. Host was excellent with communication and was happy we were happy. 100 percent would stay again.

Great campsite. Never saw or heard another vehicle the whole time. Had no issue getting the camper in but we had to back in from the code/ white gate to get the correct side facing the river.

This was our third trip out here. We usually book one of the larger sites, but this one was perfect for a weekend with my son.
Site #2 is simple, quiet, and private. Easy drive up access. Plenty of room for a tent and a solid fire setup. The river access is the highlight. Calm water. Clean shoreline. Great spot for morning coffee and winding down at night.
If you are bringing a larger group, book one of the bigger sites on the property. For two people, this one is dialed in.
Host communication was clear and consistent as always.
We will be back.

Man let me tell you ! The view and all of the things they have for u to add to your trip or to play with was the best part , the rentals are spaced out so your not stacked ontop of each other , the noise isn’t loud at all you can hear the cars driving at night and the neighbors shooting in the morning lol I liked it .. but all the small town store and nice people in those towns make up for it ! Our fav breakfast spot was hobos ! Pretty dang good ! 10/10 host and rental sight we have three dogs and they made it very easy for us to have privacy and room for our animals without a negative experience, we have a reactive pup so a private space was very much needed ! I recommend the water and electric hook up sight for us that was the perfect view and easy for us to hose down our tent to keep out pups cool Will be back again ! 10/10 experience fishing was okay need to come back when river is higher but the host had great advice to fish !

Absolutely fantastic site with an awesome host! Anything you want to see, do, or need is close by with more things a short drive away. The privacy and quiet is unmatched. Great site especially if you have dogs and need space for them to explore and relax without other campers. Do not miss out on a paddle excursion through the host April. She makes it a breeze to get you right on the water to enjoy the gorgeous sights with recommendations depending on your interests. She even has fresh eggs available at the small cost of a rooster crow here and there, but it doesn’t take away from or or dominate the experience in any way since you’re already surrounded by the sounds of nature! If you’re in the area and want your own little piece of natural Florida to tuck away in after a long day exploring then this is your spot!

Nice peaceful and private primitive camping site, fire ring, picnic table, composting toilet and all the firewood you want( just bring a handsaw or small chainsaw) that is still close drive to gas stations, stores ect.
There is homes in the area and a state road that creates some noise in the weekday mornings a bit intrusive but nothing host can do about that especially with the nonstop Florida growth.
Would definitely camp there again .

What a great hidden gem!! Although you are in someone’s backyard it feels very private and wooded. Between the giant trees surrounding the space and the amazing stars at night I will definitely be coming back! :) highly recommend!

Tom and Judy were amazing hosts, very kind and helpful. The property was beautiful. Our large group enjoyed exploring and spending time with cows, sheep, and donkeys (especially the kids). At night, the stars dominated the sky, like a cloak studded with sparkling diamonds. I highly recommend this property.

Off the beaten path is this secluded peaceful campground. I felt safe as a solo camper. This space was peaceful and not too far from stores like Publix and dollar tree. But it was definitely in the woods so you will be one with nature. I would highly recommend for families and solo campers. OH and I was very grateful for the nightlights hung around the trees because it's pitch black at night but the lights made it more cozy.

Nice private campground. Plenty of privacy, very few cars come up or down the road. I saw none there in three days. One night at about 10:00 pm, some ATV riders with lights on drove through the campground on their way along the trails (I assume) but it wasn't excessively disturbing. They came off the road, through the campground, and then disappeared into the forest so not sure where they went. I didn't see much wildlife or hear anything except birds. Obviously primitive camping with no toilets, water, electricity and such...which was nice. Go, relax, and enjoy!

Ocean Pond is a large, popular campground and ranges from electric/water sites to water sites to primitive. Many of the sites are on the lake or have a lake view (it's large and definitely isn't a pond). Sites range in size and openness. There's a nice swimming area and you can pull your boat up to your site if you're on the lake. Two things to know: Unless you want lots of noise and hubbub, don't camp here during a holiday weekend. It's a popular local camp/party spot during those times. Also, May is yellow-fly season and they're blood thirsty and vicious. They laugh at bug repellent.

Beautiful fresh water lake in the midst of Osceola national forest.!primitive camping, out house type toilets swimming is an option. 2 thumbs up for a place to crash for a night.
