I'm not sure the ducks or geese will let you hold or pet them, but you can certainly watch them swim and quack throughout the day.
Want to sit on the dock of the bay? Well, we don't have a bay, but we do have a pond with a dock where you can do some fishing or just enjoy the feel of the sun on your face and the sounds of the birds chirping.
There's also a really nice park across the street where you can see a waterfall. Yes a waterfall in Florida. It's small but beautiful and there's some trails where you can walk around the park and enjoy all the beauty mother nature has to offer.

You'll be privately tucked into a quiet corner of our property where you have a walking trail and full access to our stocked pond for fishing or just hanging out.
There's a little Columbia County Park co-managed with Suwannee River Water Management District across the street. The park has a boardwalk that takes you out to view the waterfall, picnic tables, a playground and a historic church.

Amazing camp site on 87 acres with open fields and grand daddy oaks with amazing sunrise and sunsets and plenty of open area for stargazing. This property includes three "pul through" R/V sites each with water and 50a hook up. No septic as we offer Indoor bathroom and showers and fully equipped kitchen area with refrigerator stove and microwave, coffeemaker and plenty pots, pans and dishes. Tent campers have access to the kitchen and bathrooms. The tent camping area has 5 tent sites that are covered and have access to power and water and individual fire pits.
The kitchen/bathroom building also has a large covered outdoor pouch area with lights and fans for rainy days, to hang out. reading, card games, etc.
As mentioned earlier, we are on 80+ acres and plenty of room to roam and trails to explore.
The city of High Springs and Lake City are each a short drive away have lots of shops, restaurants, and groceries. Feel free to ask us for recommendations.

The farm you’re camping on is one of the last family farms remaining in Columbia County and is named Glenn Farm after DV Glenn who married Hettie Lou Niblack in the 1930’s. Over the last 150 years it has been farmed by some of the county’s oldest families such as the Niblack and Ellis families. When DV Glenn came to Florida from his farm in Cairo, GA he took over the portion of the Niblack farm that was inherited by his wife Hettie Lou. At that time he was running native Florida cattle on over 6000 acres. Unfortunately, In 1951 he was killed in a hunting accident leaving his wife with the farm and 4 children (ages 4-11). In order to survive, Hettie Lou Niblack Glenn was forced to sell 5000 acres at $25 an acre. Holding a bachelors degree from Florida State College for Women, she was able to secure a job at the University of Florida as a secretary and with the money from the land sale she was able to raise her four children. Of the original farm, 600 acres remain intact and the Glenn family is trying to keep the farm as an agricultural operation. Your campsite is 1 of 4 spots (Arrowhead Sink, Dunagan’s Meadow, North Hall Pasture or Magnolia Sink). We also have a 1 bedroom Tiny home that used to be the farm office. Dunagan’s meadow is a pasture behind the old farmhouse (built in 1824), Magnolia sink and The North Hall Pasture are also on the main farm while Arrowhead Sink is on the edge of a hayfield about a mile down a dirt road. Glenn Farm is a place to come relax and experience a world that is rapidly disappearing. It is not a commercial campground.

A pet friendly, off leash, dark skies 6 acre slice of paradise in North Florida on the banks of the Suwannee River. In 1990 the State of Florida banned logging within 1,000 feet of the Suwannee River so Southeast Timberlands sold off it's holdings and we were lucky enough to purchase 6 acres and 444 feet of riverfront. A designated "Pristine Scenic Waterway" with very steep banks, the Suwannee is one of the few"wild" rivers left in the United States and can rise over 30 feet to flood stage almost overnight; yet due to its unique topography we can access it no matter how high or low the water.
The Forest Service has bought up the surrounding lots, creating a 10 mile Conservation corridor supporting the National Scenic Florida Trail, it's clearly marked footpaths and natural attractions. To that end, we have left the old growth upland forest the way we found it. The campsite is a natural feature as is the Zen deck and canoe launch, a swale draining the ridge. The campsite is level, the lane to the river slopes gently dropping in elevation 20 feet over 1,000 in making it easy for able bodied guests to navigate their way to the white sugar sand beach.
We want to share our retreat with those who are looking for a real wilderness experience in an exclusive private setting. A Waiver of Liability is required by all guests as the Wilderness is an inherently dangerous place. We only offer one accommodation per weekend with a maximum of 8 people, because we only have 1 toilet, so our guests can have the seclusion they desire and be free to enjoy the natural wonder of the woodland experience in any manner they choose.

I'm not sure the ducks or geese will let you hold or pet them, but you can certainly watch them swim and quack throughout the day.
Want to sit on the dock of the bay? Well, we don't have a bay, but we do have a pond with a dock where you can do some fishing or just enjoy the feel of the sun on your face and the sounds of the birds chirping.
There's also a really nice park across the street where you can see a waterfall. Yes a waterfall in Florida. It's small but beautiful and there's some trails where you can walk around the park and enjoy all the beauty mother nature has to offer.

You'll be privately tucked into a quiet corner of our property where you have a walking trail and full access to our stocked pond for fishing or just hanging out.
There's a little Columbia County Park co-managed with Suwannee River Water Management District across the street. The park has a boardwalk that takes you out to view the waterfall, picnic tables, a playground and a historic church.

Amazing camp site on 87 acres with open fields and grand daddy oaks with amazing sunrise and sunsets and plenty of open area for stargazing. This property includes three "pul through" R/V sites each with water and 50a hook up. No septic as we offer Indoor bathroom and showers and fully equipped kitchen area with refrigerator stove and microwave, coffeemaker and plenty pots, pans and dishes. Tent campers have access to the kitchen and bathrooms. The tent camping area has 5 tent sites that are covered and have access to power and water and individual fire pits.
The kitchen/bathroom building also has a large covered outdoor pouch area with lights and fans for rainy days, to hang out. reading, card games, etc.
As mentioned earlier, we are on 80+ acres and plenty of room to roam and trails to explore.
The city of High Springs and Lake City are each a short drive away have lots of shops, restaurants, and groceries. Feel free to ask us for recommendations.

The farm you’re camping on is one of the last family farms remaining in Columbia County and is named Glenn Farm after DV Glenn who married Hettie Lou Niblack in the 1930’s. Over the last 150 years it has been farmed by some of the county’s oldest families such as the Niblack and Ellis families. When DV Glenn came to Florida from his farm in Cairo, GA he took over the portion of the Niblack farm that was inherited by his wife Hettie Lou. At that time he was running native Florida cattle on over 6000 acres. Unfortunately, In 1951 he was killed in a hunting accident leaving his wife with the farm and 4 children (ages 4-11). In order to survive, Hettie Lou Niblack Glenn was forced to sell 5000 acres at $25 an acre. Holding a bachelors degree from Florida State College for Women, she was able to secure a job at the University of Florida as a secretary and with the money from the land sale she was able to raise her four children. Of the original farm, 600 acres remain intact and the Glenn family is trying to keep the farm as an agricultural operation. Your campsite is 1 of 4 spots (Arrowhead Sink, Dunagan’s Meadow, North Hall Pasture or Magnolia Sink). We also have a 1 bedroom Tiny home that used to be the farm office. Dunagan’s meadow is a pasture behind the old farmhouse (built in 1824), Magnolia sink and The North Hall Pasture are also on the main farm while Arrowhead Sink is on the edge of a hayfield about a mile down a dirt road. Glenn Farm is a place to come relax and experience a world that is rapidly disappearing. It is not a commercial campground.

A pet friendly, off leash, dark skies 6 acre slice of paradise in North Florida on the banks of the Suwannee River. In 1990 the State of Florida banned logging within 1,000 feet of the Suwannee River so Southeast Timberlands sold off it's holdings and we were lucky enough to purchase 6 acres and 444 feet of riverfront. A designated "Pristine Scenic Waterway" with very steep banks, the Suwannee is one of the few"wild" rivers left in the United States and can rise over 30 feet to flood stage almost overnight; yet due to its unique topography we can access it no matter how high or low the water.
The Forest Service has bought up the surrounding lots, creating a 10 mile Conservation corridor supporting the National Scenic Florida Trail, it's clearly marked footpaths and natural attractions. To that end, we have left the old growth upland forest the way we found it. The campsite is a natural feature as is the Zen deck and canoe launch, a swale draining the ridge. The campsite is level, the lane to the river slopes gently dropping in elevation 20 feet over 1,000 in making it easy for able bodied guests to navigate their way to the white sugar sand beach.
We want to share our retreat with those who are looking for a real wilderness experience in an exclusive private setting. A Waiver of Liability is required by all guests as the Wilderness is an inherently dangerous place. We only offer one accommodation per weekend with a maximum of 8 people, because we only have 1 toilet, so our guests can have the seclusion they desire and be free to enjoy the natural wonder of the woodland experience in any manner they choose.

Spent a couple a nights here and absolutely loved it. The sites are well appointed, bathrooms were clean and honestly best we've been in for camping. Fully stocked kitchen for anything we needed. Stephen was super attentive and helped in so many ways. We will be back many more times and next time hope to bring friends with us so they can experience this great place. Also super close to the springs.

April was super friendly and accommodating! Loved the laid back atmosphere and kayaking was the best. The springs are so pretty and even swung from a rope swing and saw a gator. How cool is that? The site was clean and had everything we needed including wildlife. It was great and glad we went!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Tom and Judy’s Hipcamp and this place is something special.
From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how beautiful the property is. The wide open field is peaceful and scenic, surrounded by tall, broad oak trees that give just the right mix of shade and sun. It’s the kind of place where you immediately relax and slow down.
The animals were a huge highlight to include friendly sheep, curious donkeys, and gentle cows roaming nearby added so much character and made the experience feel unique and memorable (especially if you’re bringing kids or just enjoy being around animals).
Everything was very well maintained. The campsite itself was clean and thoughtfully set up, and even the outhouse was spotless, which honestly says a lot about the care Tom and Judy put into their property.
On top of that, the location is perfect. There are several incredible springs nearby, and we spent our days kayaking, snorkeling, and swimming in crystal-clear water. It’s hard to beat that combination of peaceful camping and easy access to outdoor adventure.
Tom and Judy were wonderful hosts. Both friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about the family farm.
We’ll absolutely be back. If you’re looking for a relaxing, scenic, and genuinely enjoyable camping experience, this is it.

The setting was serene and beautiful. The farm animals were friendly and entertaining, especially Nacho! We loved the dogs who stopped to say hello. The sourdough bread was out of this world. The communication was superb. We will be back.😊

A bit spendy for how primitive it is but overall a really great site. Would love to go back. Careful going down the steps to the river and be aware that a (seemingly harmless) dog from a nearby home might make a visit!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Green Fairy. Detailed instructions and labels within the barn. This location is perfect for exploring Ichetucknee Springs. No more and mostly less than a 10 minute drive to both entrances with stores providing necessities within a 7 minute drive. The property is peaceful with dogwoods on property (beautiful). We were even granted the pleasure of the presence of a fawn and doe at the edge of the property on one occasion. The outdoor shower even provided us with locations to explore, for which we are greatful. We highly recommend this property if you are headed to Ichetucknee or hiking the close by preserves and trails!

Great spot, very centrally located. We enjoyed visiting Cellon Oak (20ish min drive) and Ichetucknee Springs state park (20 mins). William's place was very private and secluded. William is kind and quick to repaint if you have any questions. Wish we could've stayed more than one night. Truly a beautiful area!

Nice private campground. Plenty of privacy, very few cars come up or down the road. I saw none there in three days. One night at about 10:00 pm, some ATV riders with lights on drove through the campground on their way along the trails (I assume) but it wasn't excessively disturbing. They came off the road, through the campground, and then disappeared into the forest so not sure where they went. I didn't see much wildlife or hear anything except birds. Obviously primitive camping with no toilets, water, electricity and such...which was nice. Go, relax, and enjoy!

Ocean Pond is a large, popular campground and ranges from electric/water sites to water sites to primitive. Many of the sites are on the lake or have a lake view (it's large and definitely isn't a pond). Sites range in size and openness. There's a nice swimming area and you can pull your boat up to your site if you're on the lake. Two things to know: Unless you want lots of noise and hubbub, don't camp here during a holiday weekend. It's a popular local camp/party spot during those times. Also, May is yellow-fly season and they're blood thirsty and vicious. They laugh at bug repellent.
