Melba&#x27;s Farm

I had a great overnight visit on the farm. Super easy to book; the hosts were very nice and easy to communicate with; the chickens, goats and ducks were friendly; and I caught a few bass in the pond. What more can you ask for? Would definitely recommend.

Lots of Animals To See

Great people & very nice place to stay. Lots of animals to see. They sell eggs too. Lovely walk to a sm pond but be aware it's nature & a sm alligator was in the pond. Gotta love FL😊 Would recommend & looking fwd to going back!!

Great place to stay! Safe for solo female travelers. Easy to locate. Host was very inviting. Waking up watching baby goats run around was the best. Thank you for having me.

Great place to overnite or stay a couple days. Fenced and gated( secure for unhooking) electric water ...small active homestead with usual livestock. Welcoming hosts. Right off I 10, near 75. Large gas station close by. Worked out great for this 71 yr old solo camper, attending grandchild softball tournament.

Barn with Power & Water

We had a great time at Melba’s Farm. Jessica and Joey were so friendly and helpful. The farm was exactly as described! The campsite was level and right next to the barn. We hooked up easily to the electricity (30 AMP) and water. We felt very safe while we were there. The farm was so peaceful to walk around - a pond is on the property too. We loved watching the chickens & goats! Even had a couple of very friendly cats and dogs that stopped by to say hello. Would highly recommend!

This was a great site. My first hipcamp experience. When I arrived I was met by Jessica and her partner (forget name). He showed me to the pond site, checked the terrain, gave me a few pieces of information, and left me to set up. It was easy and that site exceeded expectations for a quiet, peaceful, private, scenic setting. I was able to also walk around the farmland with my dog and check out the goats, cows, chickens, and geese. Rooster wakeup! Perfect.

A taste of life on the farm

Peaceful Respite

My two kitties and myself enjoyed staying at Jessica‘s place. Very peaceful, quiet, clean, enjoyable, with all of the farm animals. I needed a respite to begin a long journey, this was it. Jessica and Joey were awesome hosts. Great directions, beautiful land. Even though there is no Wi-Fi, I was still able to get a connection and use the Internet. Highly recommend!

Jessica and Joey were great hosts. It had rained hard for a couple of days before we arrived and the Pond proved too soft for our big travel trailer and 2 wheel drive truck. We got stuck. Joey, his son Skylar (with the help of his tractor) got us unstuck and moved to a dryer spot nestled in the trees. I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic farm setting. Three or four completely separated areas and a new camper that they AirBB. MET Joey the owner. Just a great guy. I bought the goose eggs and chicken eggs, and he threw in some duck eggs. All amazing. His cow followed my dog n I on a walk of the property. We stayed next to the pond. Spotless picnic table, fire pit and swing. There’s a small dock you can fish off of. Incredibly quiet and safe. Right off the hwy. perfect Hipcamp stay.

This place is wonderful! Parked right next to the pond was delightful even though I got in just before dark!! They even delivered my Krystal burgers from DoorDash to my camper on their golf cart!! Talk about hospitality!! Jessica and Joey were the BEST hosts!! Thanks so much guys!!!

Lakeside Campsite

What a beautiful farm and campsite. We stayed by the lake and watched the ducks as the sun set, sublime. Jessica and Joey were fantastic hosts. They gladly took us on a tour of the farmstead and we loved learning about what it takes to care for the animals and the garden. The site we had was level and grassy, easily accessible with our Transit camper. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Talk about positive energy! This is a quaint country farm with lots of animals who are well taken care of. Our host could not have been more accommodating we were able to tag along for feeding time and interact with farm tasks. The farm cam take all size rigs. We have a 35 foot class A and had several level dry spots to choose from. Excellent interstate access with gas and diesel at the on-ramp. We would highly recommend this place We had fun

Chickens, ducks, and baby goats!!!

Beautiful farm, absolutely lovely hosts, and animals! Location is fantastic. Just a minute or two off of I-10, and just east of the I-75 interchange. We were at the tail end of a long trip, so only spent one night, but we will be back. The property is well taken care of, there are choices for dry camping or electric/water. Just can’t say enough nice things about the hosts! They were so kind, and answered my many questions about their farm. Thanks so much for having us!!
