1 night at The Retreat At Boxwood Gardens

We were headed to Everglades NP soon. This property is absolutely gorgeous! We quite enjoyed! Since we had so little time to explore Naples, I look forward to staying again in the future! Butterflies everywhere in the morning. Really nice property and Carol was hospitable and friendly! Brilliant!

3 nights at Fantastic Fort Myers Beach RV Site

This was a great spot to park the RV with easy access to Ft. Myers Beach right over the Matanzas Pass Bridge. Be forewarned: the bridge has a steep climb. We used the two bikes that were available in the locked shed, along with helmets. There were 3 beach chairs as well, but we didn't use those. The chain came off one bike, but being in an RV, we had tools to fix it 😉. The bike tires seemed a bit squishy and when I asked Eric if there was a bike pump, he immediately ordered one that was delivered right to the RV the next day. Eric was very responsive to messaging in the Hipcamp app, although he was not on site (we never saw him). The site is right off Main St, which was not busy on the 4th of July weekend, but I can't speak to traffic in the high season or during the week. The site is level with good hookups.

Weekend Trip to Gate to the Keys

The site is private and secure. There are only a few sites on the property so it ended up just being us and our friends camping. We never saw Sandra or Joe but didn’t need to either as I’ve stayed here before and everything is pretty straightforward. The mosquitos were bad but nothing compared to how they were in the Everglades. I guess that’s just part of visiting that area at the end of June.

4th time staying here. Thought of staying somewhere different, but couldn’t find a better option. We roll in and hit Roberts fruit stand as they open 9am, head down keys. Worked well 4 out of 4 times.

This was our first time booking through HiCamp. Vito has a beautiful camp area set up for his guests, he was also very informative and helpful. The pond was our absolute favorite, turtle Okee was sweet enough to come up close to land and say hello. We would definitely stay again.

Weekend Trip to Camp Champ

We had so much fun! The whole camp is so adorable with the lights and stuff by the picnic tables. I also appreciated the solar motion lights on the path to the restroom lol. My kids enjoyed the games and swimming. The water was low but that’s okay! We will definitely be back. It was so quiet and the animals were ADORABLE!

It was a nice place to stay. Only thing is we had an ac next to our tent which was running all night. Would recommend still. We had amazing neighbors who helped us a lot!!!

Weekend Trip to Bell Oaks Ranch 5 min from Beach

Enjoyed our time on Taylor’s property! Peaceful and close to beaches we visited Venice Dog Beach with our fur babies wow what a wonderful off leash beach. The farm had 2 beautiful rescued horses, which were a beautiful site to watch as I had my morning coffee. Mike who attends to the horses greeted us was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be camping there again in the near future.

Flying Frog is a quiet residential spot about 30 minutes from Palm Beach. We enjoy the area and it has everything we need. There is plenty of space to walk dogs also

Beautiful private space. Joe couldn’t have been nicer. Wild peacocks, all kinds of fruit trees and just a short hop to the Everglades or the keys. I would definitely recommend.

Weekend Trip to Bayou Bliss

Enjoyed our stay at our Hipcamp right near the heart of downtown Sarasota! Felt like our own little private oasis with lush tropical greenery and was within walking distance to the cutest funky retro 70's hangout spot, The Mable. Our host Stephanie was so kind and welcoming, as well as her resident doggie! Would love to stay again when visiting Sarasota.

Weekend Trip to The Retreat At Boxwood Gardens

This is a beautiful garden neighborhood with tremendous lots. Carol’s lovely garden home fronts a great spot for an RV. There was some traffic noise but if you’re just using this for a stop over to Naples, it’s perfect. Right off the main 75 expressway. By far the most reasonable price for a safe location. Carol was a great communicator…use the address provided in Hipcamp vs. what Apple or Google may translate.

We got the waterfront and even though the beach is tiny it was really nice site with the tiki and grill right next. Bathrooms were very clean and everything worked as expected
