Bob and Sarah’s Organic Farm
3 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents10 acres · Palm City, FLWe purchased this property in 1983, back when Palm City didn't even have a grocery store or zip code! As the urban sprawl has grown throughout our county, Shadowood Farm remains a hidden gem. We purchased the land so we could grow things and have an abundance of personal space. Though what we've grown has changed over the decades, we've always felt that it was our duty to protect this space for generations to come. As a small, family run, USDA Certified Organic farm, in a challenging time of our nations history, we find it very difficult to pay our bills. Renting the farm to Hipcamping guests helps generate income, so hopefully we can keep our expensive certification and the farm operating for another year....

Taste of Old Florida
12 sites · RVs, Tents10 acres · Palm City, FLA small but unique piece of land that was given to a family in the 1920s by the Florida Railroad Company. It stayed in the family until we purchased it. It is unique because the surrounding area does not have much tree coverage. This is due to the ground underneath, which is a vein of grey marl. This is why the area is called the Allapattah (an Indian word for Alligator) Flats. We are hoping that our county stays the way it is so people will know what Old Florida really looks like. Minutes from I-95, but surrounded by the Allapattah Flats Wildlife Management Preserve. Located on Martin Hwy, which was recently designated as a Florida Scenic Hwy. Fifteen minutes to Stuart and thirty minutes to West Palm Beach, a world away from the hustle and bustle. We realize that people also love Florida for Disney and tropical paradises but if that is what you want than this may not be your kind of place.

Miami is known for its glitz and glamour, but visitors who want to get closer to nature also have plenty of options. Bring your RV to the Miami area and you can combine the excitement of proximity to Magic City with an immersive experience spotting gators in Everglades National Park, boating in Biscayne National Park, paddling through Oleta River State Park, or simply soaking up the sun on one of the area’s many beautiful beaches. Average winter temperatures of 75°F promise year-round camping, (Tip: book early in winter) but those adverse to heat and humidity may want to consider elsewhere during the steamy summer months. Many Miami-area RV parks provide full hookups, laundry facilities, wifi, and pet-friendly sites.
