Fernando was an amazing host and the site was amazing as well. Close to I-95 and the airport, but far enough away to be in a quiet, safe, residential neighborhood. There were seating areas near the RV and the water as well as lots of shade from trees and awnings. It was mango season and Fernando brought us mangos from his trees and encouraged us to pick what we wanted. These mangos are super sweet. Fernando lives on-site and is also readily available by phone. He allowed us to use his ladders to install a backup camera on our RV. He even had a sparkling clean Nissan Altima he rented to us so we didn't have to drive our dually diesel pickup truck while there. I'd definitely stay here again if in the area.

The site is private and secure. There are only a few sites on the property so it ended up just being us and our friends camping. We never saw Sandra or Joe but didn’t need to either as I’ve stayed here before and everything is pretty straightforward. The mosquitos were bad but nothing compared to how they were in the Everglades. I guess that’s just part of visiting that area at the end of June.

Site was as described/pictured. Check in instructions were clear on day of arrival and host was communicative about meeting at gate. The only hiccup was he mentioned a black double swinging gate with a mailbox. Immediately before that is a black double swinging gate without a mailbox. So do not look for the gate, only look for the mailbox. Otherwise it was a really wonderful visit and we were central to the things we wanted to do. In 3 days we covered 2 areas of Everglades national park, Biscayne national park, and snorkeling off islamorada. Highly recommend Mario’s for excellent Cuban food (as suggested by our Biscayne national park guide).

Beautiful private space. Joe couldn’t have been nicer. Wild peacocks, all kinds of fruit trees and just a short hop to the Everglades or the keys. I would definitely recommend.

Really kind hosts—fellow RVers who made the stay feel welcoming from the start. Their home in the countryside of Homestead is beautiful, and the setting is exactly what you want if you’re looking for peace and quiet. Definitely appreciated the calm, relaxing atmosphere.

Extremely quiet and peaceful under the oak trees and close to everything. This covered spot is particularly perfect given the spring rain showers and the string lights made evenings super cozy. All hook ups work perfectly and host Jeffery is a cool dude who made me and my pups feel welcome.

The property is open and roomy with parking spaces nestled between the trees. The fire pit was very comfortable with chairs provided. It was quiet and felt like we were in the country. I would stay there again for sure!

This space was incredible and you have to experience it for yourself! It's private and perfectly positioned between 2 national parks (Biscayne and Everglades) and the hosts are so kind and laid back. The whole property is fascinating, with exotic fruit trees, beautiful lights at night, and wild Peakcocks, but there's also a casual energy to the host's style that makes you feel at peace, even though you're a stone's throw from huge metropolitan areas. Joe came over and made my quiet senior doggo feel loved and my big loud doggo feel welcome. The site was safe and private and Joe was super friendly. The dwarf bananas he had were the most delicious things! He even gave us advice on how to cook them (they were delicious raw as well). Lord willing, we'll be back to enjoy this gorgeous property again.

5 nights at Miami Crossroads

We had a great stay at Jose and Eileen’s Hipcamp in Miami. They were incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, which really set the tone for a relaxing visit. Jose went out of his way to suggest local restaurants and spots to check out, and his recommendations truly helped make our stay memorable. The whole experience felt easy and comfortable, and we’d definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area.

Weekend Trip to Gate to the Keys

Gated / Fenced and the property is very pretty. Enjoyed the drive in seeing all the nurseries. Roads are pretty rough but that’s expected for the area! Joe was very welcoming and we got to meet his little pup Mia. Such a cutie. Thank you for the pleasant stay.
