We have a nice little RV pad on the back of our coastal home. Situated on a little bayou that opens out into Choctawhatchee Bay. Crab Island is only a 10 minute boat ride away. You would have access to our small dock and there is a neighborhood boat ramp less than one hundred feet away. This is a great place for kayaks, wave runners, and small boats. If you don't have a boat, we can set up any kind of trip you want. We are all licensed captains and own multiple Crab Island businesses. So we can set up charters for you on the following boats: Sailing trip on a restored 1963 Pearson Ensign. Can accommodate up to 6 people. This is a classic sailboat that is easy to sail and easy to learn to sail. A restored 1966 Boston Whaler that is perfect for couples looking for a sunset cruise, etc. Can accommodate up to 6 people but it perfect for 2 -4. We can go to Crab Island, look for dolphins or find our own private island beach. Waverunner tours. We can take you on a guided wave runner tour looking for dolphins and private beaches. You will drive one wave runner while our licensed captain guided you on another one. Insurance does not allow us to rent these out solo but there are many good vendors in the area to do that. Inshore flats skiff targeting redfish and trout on light spinning gear and fly rods. This boat is best fished with no more than 3 people. Rates: $150 per hour for less than 3 hours $500 for half day (4 hours) $600 for 6 hours The neighborhood is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Fort Walton with large oaks and magnolias providing plenty of shade for bike riding and walking. Downtown Fort Walton with its shops and quaint restaurants is only a mile away. Didn't bring a bike, we have 2 you can use. During the summer, there are fireworks every Wednesday night that are viewable from this spot. The site comes with water/sewer and 30 Amp hookup. The sight can accommodate up to 43' for trailer and vehicle.

Weekend Trip to Sand Between Your Toes

Sand Between Your Toes was a fantastic place to stay. Even though the owner lives on site, the property felt very private, quiet, and secure. It’s centrally located and closer to the Rosemary Beach end—which we preferred anyway. While exploring the area, we drove past several RV campgrounds where people were packed in tightly, which made us even more appreciative of our choice. Staying at Sand Between Your Toes was absolutely the right decision. The driveway entrance is on an incline and a bit narrow, but Brian suggested backing down the road and approaching it at an angle, which worked perfectly—we had no issues at all. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we would highly recommend it.

We truly enjoyed our month-long stay at John’s property in the Allanton area of Panama City, Florida. The location is quiet and remote — a refreshing change from crowded, noisy RV resorts. Shopping and everyday conveniences were about a 30-minute drive, which we didn’t mind at all given the peaceful setting. The sunrises and sunsets were absolutely picture-perfect. This was our first Hipcamp experience. It was in a perfect location to visit with our grandson which is close to the Naval Diving School. Ocean is eight minutes away, and a two minute walk to Lake Powell. Restaurants and stores are close also. The RV spot was very nice. This is a back in spot which the whole yard is fenced. They do live in a RV on the lot while building their little home. Brian was very helpful with any questions we had. We stayed six nights and will book again when in area.

Maggie’s Place was perfect. I met Maggie personally and she was so warm and inviting. I loved my stay and would definitely stay again. Eric’s spot was everything promised. Very nice man, he even started us off with a bundle of wood incase we wanted an evening fire. The cozy seating area was protected from the wind and a very nice spot for morning coffee!

Do you like to fish? Maybe just play with your water toys? This is your spot! The nearby (quiet) boat ramp with easy access to the bay or sound is a major bonus. Beaches, downtown, shopping all just mins away. Clean and tidy spot with a cozy bench and nice little fire pit. Would definitely book here again.

Weekend Trip to Country Camping At The Beach

This camping lot was perfect for my wife and I on our 3 day trip to PCB. We Tesla tent camped and found this spot very simple, but exactly all we needed. Just minutes from the beach. We really enjoyed the extra amenities like the outdoor hot tub and friendly visitors from the goats, chickens and ducks that live on the lot next to this spot.

Thanks to the Reviews here AND the quick Reply to my HipCamp message ~ booked an unexpected getaway. WHAT a great place to start the new year and experience the 1st full moon. The hosts were super accepting and accommodating of my late arrival. It's only an hour away to put your toes in the sand! And that sparkling clean, hot shower is a huge bonus after a day at the beach. Even got a guided tour of the property. Peaceful & private ~ perfection! The hosts' care for the campers promotes an obvious feel of community. CanNOT wait to go back in the spring!

Our favorite beach campsite! We have camped at Grayton Beach State Park multiple times and have always had a great experience. Post-pandemic it is more crowded than we like, so we try to go on off season.
