Otter River Hideout is located by the Ichetucknee Spring State Park (8 mins. drive, 3.6 miles). For another short drive, head on over to Blue Hole Spring (15 mins, 7.9 miles), Ginnie Springs (19 mins. 13 miles), Rum Island Springs (19 mins, 13.7 miles), Hornsby Spring (20 mins, 14.8 miles) and Devil's Den (1 hr, 47.3 miles). Otter River Hideout amenities include water, sewer, electric (30 amp, 50 amp) and fire pit. There is an outdoor pergola (built by owner) complete with a full kitchen (huge fridge, 6 burner gas stove, pots, pans, micro, toaster oven, Keurig and more), bathroom (flush toilet, sink, shower), and a sitting area with outlets for charging, and ceiling fans. RECENTLY ADDED: Washer/Dryer (detergent not included). NOTE: ice machine on property not connected. We are pet friendly but please keep on-leash as property is not completely fenced in yet and you must pick up after your pet. ****Please Note: Property is under video surveillance****Pitch a tent or two (2)+, hook up your travel trailer, pop-up campers, etc. at Otter River Hideout with access to a fire pit and picnic table. So close to many springs to go kayaking, canoeing, tubing or paddle boarding. Enjoy a cool evening surrounding by the campfire as you toast marshmallows for s'mores. Please note, there is a travel trailer on our property, the travel trailer is not included in the rental and is off-limits to guests. There is solar motion sensor lighting as you enter property and security cameras throughout the property for the safety, security protection of our guests and their belongings. We are not liable for the following conditions: Free Wi-Fi is provided, password and username will be visibly displayed. Wi-Fi service and reliability are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for power outages or weather-related conditions. It is recommended that you back-in from main road all travel trailer, rigs, campers etc. Most will be able to pull into our property and turn to maneuver, and back into side just before pergola. Please be sure to have a ground-guide, or at least good visibility while backing in, any damages to structures or other property will be the responsibility of the guest. Otter River Hideout amenities include water, sewer, electric (30 amp - adapter available for 50 amp) and fire pit. There is an outdoor pergola (built by owner) complete with a full kitchen (fridge, 6 burner gas stove, pots, pans, micro, toaster ove, a Kuerig and more), bathroom (flush toilet, sink, hot and cold shower), and a sitting area with outlets for charging, and ceiling fans. For the safety of our guests, there is absolutely no climbing on structures, or trees during your stay. Please remember, you will be exposed to Florida wildlife which means exposure to various insects such as spiders, ticks, and other Florida native insects species and wild animals. Ensure you pack such things as insect repellent and proper outdoor clothing. Please pay close attention to children and pets while roaming the property. Children and pets must be supervised by an adult at all times. 6 minutes drive to Dollar General or 20 minutes drive to local supermarket (Winn-Dixie) Board games available for use *****Bring your Trash to curve outside the gate***** Trash pick-up day are on Mondays

We really enjoyed our stay. The bathroom and kitchen were a huge plus, and the host was very attentive and helpful, responding very quickly whenever I had a question. The kids had a blast, and the area was quiet and peaceful.

Really good place, we tent camping, have all the confort, kitchen, bathroom, table games, refer. Really nice, the only kinda bad think is no trees, and that means no shadows for the tents.

We appreciate that the site was spacious enough to accommodate our camper and two additional tents. There was sufficient room for everyone to have their own space without feeling crowded. The area was also remarkably clean and conveniently located near the springs. We had our two-year-old granddaughter with us, and the site proved to be very safe for her to run around and play.

Great spot for our two families to be able to camp together. Outdoor pergola with kitchen and fridge was perfect for our meals. Proximity to springs was perfect.

Awesome place to camp close to multiple springs. The full-size well equipped kitchen is so nice while camping. Very responsive host. This was my second time at this campsite and it’s become one of my favorite.

We loved the camp site , has everything you need and more. Would definitely recommend to others . Lots of space we had 3 tents and 3 cars , and still had tons of space left . Host was very Accommodating / kind and respond quickly :) we can't wait to come back and enjoy the near by springs .

You guys. I ended up booking extra time here so it looks like 2 separate visits, but I wanted to leave a 2nd review. This place is amazing. Like we really felt welcome and cared for. The host were a text away but we felt like we had all the privacy. The space itself is large, private, but not out so far that you have to drive forever to see another person. I really felt relaxed, rejuvenated, and welcome here. Small touches here and there made it that much better. Shower products, silverware, the cute otter decor, the lighting, the fans built into the ceiling, the zip ties for the pergola, (to keep the rain off your stuff) the comfy chairs, watching the stars, I could go on and on. You made my husband’s first trip to my home state a good one. And an affordable one! You’ve spoiled me, now I can’t camp without a hot, private shower all to myself. It was a blessing to stay there and I hope to return soon. If you’re thinking about maybe staying here, DO IT. You have your own space. Your own bathroom. Your own outdoor kitchen. Charging ports for your phones. The stars, a fire pit, all the amenities of home with the joy of camping! 10/10 5 stars. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love this space. It’s exactly the kind of camping I love! They offer an amazing outdoor kitchen (the gas stove was so easy to use) a cute bar and sitting area, and let me brag on that cute bathroom! Hot water, a flushing toilet, and the cutest otter shower curtain. We expected unbearable heat and bugs- we experienced none of that. The pergola offered the perfect place to recharge with an amazing breeze all the time. Plenty of space to move around, have a fire, lay out and tan, and just breathe in the country air. 10/10

Had a great time camping with our family. The best part was the pergola and outdoor kitchen. It was so convenient. It is really close to very nice springs. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a great stay!

This was a nice surprise! We’d been primitive camping for a week when we came to this place. The kitchen is awesome! Huge fridge, 6 burner gas stove, pots, pan, Kureg, and more! The flush toilet and shower were also great. The site itself is a good size, surrounded by trees with houses on both sides but it was still very quiet. There’s a camper on site that I think you can rent. We stayed in tents and there’s plenty of space for those. It’s a few minutes from many springs.
