Upon arriving, we had to move garbage cans to be able to get into the driveway when there was a farm hand watching us do this. It was raining and the driveway was 4-6 inches deep in mud. The property is beautiful with numerous farm animals, but it was obvious the cattle roam the entire property, including the campsite when there are no campers as there was animal dung everywhere, including at our camp area. The muddy driveway did not dry out the three days that we were there so it was always a mess trying to get through it. We never met our host. She would only communicate through the HipCamp app. We’ve always had great experiences with friendly hosts, but not so much this time. Their power cord from their barn was at least 100 feet long with 30 amp service, but the amps were diminished because of the length of the cord. We normally do fine with 30 amps, but we had problems running the air conditioner and refrigerator at the same time. We had to run our generator occasionally. WiFi was supposedly available, but the password we were given didn’t work. The host said she’d get back to us, but never did. We have a 40’ diesel pusher and I was concerned about getting stuck in the driveway, especially when leaving as the ruts were even deeper than when we arrived, but our concerns were dismissed by the host. All in all, it’s a beautiful location, but I wouldn’t recommend it and would never return.
