Beautiful place, real close to the wildlife. Had no issues at all, I loved every second of it! Host really respectful and was a phone call or text away to answer any questions I had.
Big shoutout to Frankie, he is a great guy and very helpful. He is another camper who staying there and an awesome guy! I had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back again!

Beautiful area with lots of trees and wildlife but renters beware ! The host is very rude and veryyyy cheap ! The price is by tent not campsite 😂 I booked and was immediately flooded with messages of extra charges and no lie I literally said hi and that was his green light to start penny pinching … but like I said beautiful place just a very cheap owner
▪️Be prepared to be lost as he doesn’t give the right address
THE ONLY GOOD PART OF THE STAY WAS MEETING THIS AMAZING COUPLE LIVING NEXT DOOR THAT TOOK IT UPON THEIRSELVES TO HELP US OUT FINDING THE SITE WILE GETTING CHECKED IN 😌❤️ THANK YOU FRANKIE AND COURTNEY WITH OUT THEM THIS SITE WOULD BE A 1/10 but I’ll give him a 3/10 for good faith

Courtney and Franky were really cool. They have great hospitality and are down to earth. They helped us with wood, setting up, understanding the natural habitats around the area and so much more. The host was helpful by helping us get to the difficult location by answering the phone promptly and resolving the issue. Overall a good stay.

Great location with some lovely spots near the water and relaxing atmosphere. Perfect place to view the night sky and have a nice quiet time with your loved ones!

We arrived after dark as traffic was very heavy on 33. After arriving and entering the gate, we found our spot, set up our tent and started a fire. It was a beautiful night and the stars were on display. We stayed two nights and had a great time. You will hear traffic as it’s pretty close to a well traveled road, but that didn’t bother us. It was nice to not be right up on other campers like you experience in a campground. We will definitely stay again in the future.

Excellent camping spot the host is extremely helpful let me plug my e-bike up to the power he was busy but give me Alberto's number I was having trouble finding it called Alberto he come out met me and I followed him in excellent place to camp highly recommend

A little off the beaten path, but they came out and lead us to the site, very very friendly! The sites are away from the main road , fenced in and really clean quiet and nice! Gravel elevating your site, elec and water. We will be back!

Rafael's camp was perfect! Just what I needed for a nice secluded getaway in nature. There weren't any neighbors except for a 5th wheel that was way up front on the camper pad. The wooded area is great for primitive camping! Towards the back woods you can hear cars on hwy but wasn't any problem for me at all. This was my first solo camping trip and it was wonderful. I will definitely be back!

I enjoyed camping in a tent. I loved the fenced in maintained grass area so my dogs could run. If tent camping, know that you can hear the road at night if you’re back in the woods. Only a minor issue, if in an RV probably not an issue. Overall still 5 stars and definitely recommend!

Had a delay due to bad weather and didn’t have the opportunity to stay. The host was very nice asking if everything was ok. Would recommend the place just for the kindness

100% recommend staying here. Very peaceful and quiet. Lots of wildlife to share the woods with: cranes, turkey, deer....you never know what you might see 😀

Directions were a little challenging, but once we figured it out it was well worth the stay. Both Rafael and Alberto were very accommodating and had full hookups. The campgrounds were excellent with compacted gravel. Other guests staying the were friendly and helpful. Wish we had more time there but we will try to come back.

Sunrise w Sandhill cranes.

Quiet and peaceful! I loved the sunrise in the morning with the Sandhill cranes filling the air with their distinctive rolling cries. The directions need some adjustments. Waze brought me to the wrong location. Basically, when you see the mailbox - Turn in there and drive to the back, passing the house on the right.

We travel quite a bit for our business @EmsCryoTreats and we love finding spots like this... Off the beaten path, but close enough to the events to justify the stay.
The camping spots were very clean and maintained. There are a few full-timers there, but they are so nice and welcoming. They are pet-friendly, with a few full-time pets. They didn't bother us at all! You wouldn't even know they are there after dark.
No dump station there at the lots, but there is one across the street at the residence. For our short stays, that's not any concern for us.
We will definitely be booking in the future!

It was extremely hard to find this place the directions took me to a long dirt road 5 minutes away from the correct location. There aren't enough camp spots in the woods without being to close to someone. I will say Alberto was very polite and friendly and I hope his wife heals up in the hospital and beats her cancer. I'm not saying this spot isn't a good enough place to stay. I'm just saying the way it's advertised is to be more secluded than it really is.

Super accommodating people, both Rafael and Alberto .I drove my car about 60 yards into the woods set up camp 10 yards from there brought my dog , he had a blast. Under 10 minutes to Groveland incase you forgot anything

Raphael was quick to respond and attentive to needs. Even when checking in later than expected. Nice private site. We got to set up in a new spot on property for tenting. Lots of room. Kids loved playing in the field. Would definitely recommend and will be in mind for future get aways.

We just loved staying here in our RV - it was a very quiet and peaceful setting with trees and open farm fields - Rafael and Alberto were excellent hosts - we couldn’t ask for better - they made sure we had everything we needed and checked in regularly- thank you so much for an awesome stay!!

We absolutely loved it here! Though we stayed on new years and there were fireworks around, I’m definitely not mad about it. We’re in the country and fireworks are legal so though our dog was a bit stressed it was still a gorgeous location. We took the most beautiful photos that I will try to attach. I’m so glad we got to stay and we were welcomed like family. Our hosts were so kind and responsive, the facility was clean and it was easy to get to where we wanted to camp. I would definitely recommend to anyone that wants a nice little getaway. We weren’t nervous and felt safe the entire time even with other people in the general area. The location was relatively easy to get to and if we ever had an issue our host was easy to get ahold of and VERY helpful!! I gave him some Recs to help make the site even better and I’m sure we’ll be back in the future!! Our dogs were safe and happy (the ones not scared of fireworks) and we all got an amazing night sleep. Like so good. It was amazing to wake up to a brand new day and new year!
