Primitive camping is permitted at designated wooded high grounds in the middle of the property. It is a 5 and 10-minute rugged hike in to the middle ground respectively. The trail remains under development, so please bring close-toed shoes or boots for hiking throughout the property (depending on rainfall, there may be mud and water).
We have two primitive campsites These campsites are first come first serve, they are not assigned when booking.
Our Glamper tent is a 10x12 canvas furnished full size bed with bedding, pillows and enough floor space for two sleeping bags.
The tents are located off a short trial, but rugged 2-minute hike from the parking area. We provide the opportunity to go camping without having to pack the tent.
Closed toed shoes are highly suggested as well as plenty of lighting with batteries or solar charging capability. This is a rugged, fun and serene camping experience.
Located less than 10 mins to Navarre Beach, - 30 mins to Pensacola Beach, - 15 mins to Naval Live Oaks, - 45 mins to Fort Pickens, - 50 mins to NAS Pensacola, - 45 mins to Santa Rosa Island, - 35 mins to Okaloosa Island, - 40 mins to Destin.
Recommended local restaurants: St. Michael's Brewery which has rotating food trucks and is family friendly, Ye Olde Brothers Brewery, Emerald's WaterfrontGrill, Dewey Destin’s, Andy D's on Navarre Beach, Stripe's Pub, Johnny Huston's, Windjammers, TC’s Front Porch, Deb’s Coffee, The Eatery food truck park, Top’s Burgers, and New York Pizza Depot.

The farm has its humble beginnings in the summer of 2015 with four acres, four goats, and four chickens. Founded on the love of animals and a passion for sustainability, we remain committed to compassionate practices and the most natural care of our land and animals as possible.
As stewards of the land and herd, we believe we have a responsibility to share nature's blessings. We offer several agritourism opportunities on the farm, from farmstays to day visits. Our primary program is to serve area youth with agricultural education and the opportunities to work with our goats. All proceeds from bookings go toward our programming.
Please note that February and March is transition time on the farm when we are planting new pastures and working on projects so photos might be different during those 2 months!
It is our goal to create a space where our visitors can have fun and learn about the animals who share that space. We also strive to serve as a valuable resource for first time goat owners. Hunter Springs is a great little park with a beach area for swimming and kayak rentals too.
There are also several Diving with the Manatee tours available. One we suggest in town is Fun2Dive. These are all only a short drive away.
You can enjoy swimming, fishing, scalloping, snorkeling, kayaking, pontooning just five minutes away, or just relaxing back at camp fireside.
Heritage Village is in town filled with many hometown eateries and shoppes. It's a great way to spend the afternoon and explore downtown Crystal River.
We have a variety of great one-of-a-kind eateries with many special events and festivals throughout the year.
Conveniently located at the end of the street is a Publix, DG, a Mexican restaurant, and Beef O'Brady's.
We also have brochures on all kinds of other great places you'll want to experience while staying in beautiful Crystal River!

The place was very nice and rustic. Simple for what is needed. There are some lodges and a few areas for RVs or tents. For those who aren't used to being without the amenities, it was perfect.
Unfortunately, it rained a lot before we were there, so it felt very muggy, no bugs during nighttime. He even has a charging area for any Teslas if needed.

The area was so much like the photos! What a laidback and beautiful property. The amenities were wonderful, and the nature all around is priceless.
Host was communicative and promptly answered all our inquiries. The area is private so we didn't see them during our stay but we felt the sense of hospitality in the details from the cards and guestbook. We have already started recommending this spot to our friends! Note: we arrived each night very late, and the road we entered through has little visibility, so just proceed with some caution and keep your eyes peeled! Thanks again and looking forward to our next visit.

Oh WoW!!!!! I do not know where to start. This place is ABSOLUTELY hands DOWN one of the BEST places I’ve ever stayed. From the Serenity and Peace you feel to the Beauty of the Outdoors is an ALL in ONE Package!!! I absolutely loved it here.
The facilities are so well maintained. Bathrooms were very clean, shower was hot and refreshing, and the little hut or common area had a keurig for coffee and supplies so we could cook as if we were in our own home. I’ll be honest though, with all those lovely gems, I still cooked over my campfire. You gotta have at least one campfire meal.
Not only is this place a Godsend, the owner Amanda is amazing. She took time to hike up to our campsite to say hello and welcome us to her place of serenity. Had some laughs with us and gave us her direct line in case there was anything we needed. She took the time to make sure we would have the best experience ever. Shoot, Amanda even accommodated our neighbors who stayed in Yurt #7 and let them have a birthday party for their 13 yr old boy. This is rare because there is very limited parking and spots first go to guest. She went over and beyond though so this lil man could celebrate his BIG 13 with his family and friends. We even celebrated with them. I was kinda sad they left early though. Totally understand they didn’t want to stay because the weather forecast was predicting heavy thunderstorms. I definitely get it.

I loved tent camping on Sarah's land!
The views were beautiful and directions were clear. There was another site nearby but it was quiet. Loved going for 4th of July weekend highlight on campsite was taking a shower at night with the twinkling lights and the fireworks going off. Such a great experience and a magical moment.

Rob & Mike were excellent hosts! The “Far Away” site has excellent views of the night sky and surrounding woods. Sighted owls, fawn, all sorts of interesting insects, and the horses came to visit one morning. The pavilion was clean and well kept. Loved the trails and the farm tour too!

We had a great stay at Kathryn’s property! She was incredibly kind, checked in on us each day, and made us feel very welcome. The animals were so sweet and were a highlight of our trip.
The only issue we had was due to our own inexperience with tent camping during a heavy rainstorm. When our gear got soaked, Kathryn kindly offered us her cottage for a very reasonable fee, which we were very grateful for. The location is also excellent, with easy access to the springs and plenty of nearby restaurants. We would definitely recommend staying here, especially for RV travelers!

Panhandle and Big Bend
White-sand beaches and laid-back beach towns fringe the Gulf of Mexico in Florida’s north-western county. Panama City, Destin, and Pensacola are gateways to the Panhandle, where you can pitch your tent right on the beach along the Gulf Islands National Seashore or check into an RV resort at one of the seaside state parks. North Florida

Central Florida
Fun-seeking families probably have Orlando’s theme parks at the top of their Central Florida to-do list, but there are plenty of ways to get back to nature too. There’s great hiking and primitive camping in Seminole State Forest and Kissimmee State Park, both just outside the city. Other popular camping spots include the Jonathan Dickinson State Park in West Palm Beach, Lake Okeechobee, and Cayo Costa State Park, just off the coast of Fort Myers.
South Florida
The vast Everglades National Park is the star attraction of the Gulf Coast, where boating, biking, and canoeing tours will take you through the UNESCO-listed wetlands. Look out for manatees and American alligators along the way. Over on the Atlantic Coast, the buzzing beach resorts of Miami and Fort Lauderdale draw sun-seekers year-round. If kayaking around tropical islands, and snorkeling and scuba diving along remote coral cays sounds like your idea of fun, look no further than the Florida Keys.
