An "Old Florida" vibe in Florida's Manatee Capitol of Crystal River. The property is private, yet just minutes from stores, restaurants and the water. The cabin is located on private property with owners and security on site, yet plenty of privacy. Your cabin is fully supplied with bedding, towels, refrigerator, coffee pot, cups and silverware, AC in the summer months, and an electric fireplace in the winter. Outside you will find a firepit as well as a charcoal grill, a table for eating, and a swing from the tree. Join us on the weekends for the Yellow Cottage Farmstand & Bakery! We have lots of homemade goodies like jams, honey, herbs, cookies, plants and more! See us on FB under Yellow Cottage Herbs 🪴 The outside shower house is on the primitive side and made for the adventure type. It is equipped with a portable toilet and shower under the stars. It is hooked up with instant hot water. During the day, paddle your way to the beautiful Three Sisters Springs for a swim. You may see some manatee or dolphins on your way there. Hunter Springs is a great little park with a beach area for swimming and kayak rentals too. There are also several Diving with the Manatee tours available. One we suggest in town is Fun2Dive. These are all only a short drive away. You can enjoy swimming, fishing, scalloping, snorkeling, kayaking, pontooning just five minutes away, or just relaxing back at camp fireside. Heritage Village is in town filled with many hometown eateries and shoppes. It's a great way to spend the afternoon and explore downtown Crystal River. We have a variety of great one-of-a-kind eateries with many special events and festivals throughout the year. Conveniently located at the end of the street is a Publix, DG, a Mexican restaurant, and Beef O'Brady's. We also have brochures on all kinds of other great places you'll want to experience while staying in beautiful Crystal River! Oh, and don't forget to stop by Grandma's gift shop before you leave. Exactly as described! Quiet and peaceful. Mini frig included which is very helpful not having to drag cooler(s) and ice back and forth!!! Bed is comfortable, fell asleep quickly, Did some research online before arriving to find places I wanted to for sure visit. Found some great restaurants in the area. There is a Publix nearby for restocking as needed as well as an outside ATM machine. My Australian Shepherd loved every minute of the trip! He was right at home in the cabin and loved all the new places to hike and explore!!

Colleen greeted us when we got there and gave us a tour. The camp site was exactly as advertised. Everything was accessible and easy. There was another camp site but nobody there and even though owners are on site, there was plenty of privacy. It was the perfect mix of camping and modern conveniences included. We loved it and would definitely come back! 🙂

We loved our time here! The cabin was perfect for the two of us. Plenty of blankets and pillows. They were also helpful with giving us recommendations on places to go. It is close to the owners home but we still felt like we had plenty of privacy.

Absolutely got our money's worth here! They are very nice people! The mini cabin was spacious, clean, had plenty of lighting, blankets, pillows, silverware, plates, ect. The shower was hot and private. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect getaway
The Scramble On Inn
Secluded yet minutes away from restaurants and stores. Very cute cabin with so many amenities provided. Stayed at the cabin closest to her house but it still felt private. Host was great and offered many extras.

The most enchanting little gem!
The Scramble On Inn
We are returning guests! This place is now our go-to when we are visiting family in Crystal River. Colleen and Eddie are super friendly folks and have treated us warmly every time we come. They just added a fun outdoor bistro area with all kinds of cooking equipment and utensils. Eddie was kind enough to lend us some extra wood for our fire. The cabin is located just beyond the owners’ house, but there is plenty privacy! Inside it’s super cozy, and the kids LOVE the fireplace! We like how close the property is to all the downtown attractions and water, yet it does not feel like you’re “in town”, though all the stores you need are right down the road (literally) and the downtown strip is less than 10 mins away. We really love staying here and look forward to our next visit. They have done a great job making their whole property feel like an enchanting experience for those who visit. The Scramble On Inn is truly a lovely and whimsical gem of Crystal River. Thanks Colleen and Eddie for your kindness and all the great local recommendations for food and fun! See ya next time!
