Located within 45 minutes of the wine country and 2 miles from the coast, our property is 400 acres of rolling hills and redwood groves, with a creek running along its base. With miles of trails meandering through quiet woods and meadows, you will be able to revel in the tranquility of a private preserve, without sacrificing easy access to some of Sonoma County's most famous attractions. A hundred years ago, this land was used to graze sheep. Remnants of the old fence lines can still be seen in places, along with old cement troughs. Since then, the land has been left to its own devices, passing through many hands, most famously owned by two brothers in the 1980's who built a truly amazing tree house in the forest which has been featured in several magazine articles. It was revamped and updated in 2016 by a master craftsman, using fallen redwood logs found on the property and is now a unique structural work of art, available for overnight stays. We produce 100% grass fed, dry-aged beef on our certified organic pastures and have a store on site if you would like to purchase delicious steaks, ribs, ground beef for hamburgers or some roasts to take home. Our cattle graze on the native grasses, never grain, and drink only water produced from our own springs. We also raise Kiko meat goats and produce pastured, certified organic duck eggs on a commercial basis. Whether it's surfing at sandy beaches, award-winning clam chowder, a wine tour, horseback riding or a hot air balloon ride you're after, you won't have far to drive if you make our ranch your base camp. You may see a family of deer appear suddenly, or a few Scottish Highland cows which we allow to roam freely over the property. Converted into my home over a decade ago, this bus served as my home until I bought this property in 2006, and it has since been the deluxe guest bus. It is very comfortable and comes with all the luxury one would expect in a cabin -- hot water, full kitchen, refrigerator, and queen bed. It should be noted however, that the ceiling is 6 foot high, and thus my not be suited to tall people! Also, there is a private toilet, but it is not inside the bus...instead it is a short jaunt from the front door. Also, I suggest bringing flip flops or some kind of easy on and off shoes, both for the bus and the bathroom jaunt. I request that the bus be kept as a "no shoes" environment, as I am discovering that the enviro oak flooring is quite sensitive to wear. Built mainly from recycled & resourced second hand materials, the bus is a 1985 Chevy with a Detroit Diesel engine. Her interior was designed with the "live lightly on the land" aesthetic and all appliances were chosen because they work well with solar power, including propane fridge and oven/stove and wood stove. The bus can sleep kids up to 15 years of age and additional bedding is available -- however it is not "child-proofed" so probably not the best for a toddler. Furthermore, I'm willing to consider small dogs (10 lbs and under), but the bus will not accommodate medium and big-sized dogs. Learn more about this land: An artful school bus located off Hwy 1, 1.5 miles from the Pacific Ocean, provide a secluded, sunny off-grid, creative getaway, with organic gardens, outdoor tubs & "malibu shower", plus fully equipped kitchen, wifi, wood-stove & on-demand hot water.

Great spot and within walking distance to town and the ocean. Farm animals were entertaining and the host was very kind. Bathhouse was clean and the hot tub was an added bonus. Great that a grill, gas stove, cooking supplies, and propane fire pit were provided! You will be in the company of a few other campers, but we didn’t mind and enjoyed some conversations with others. We’d love to come back!

The host met us as we pulled up and gave us a quick tour of the area and amenities which was fantastic. It’s always a little weird thinking you are staying in someone’s yard but they had a great set up. The campsites were level and large enough for our three tents. We brought our own kitchenware but they had sinks, soap and anything we may have forgotten. Yes the rooster can be loud but I pretty much slept through it. Great spot!

Clean, quiet campground. Very friendly, communicative staff. We stayed in the Creekside spots. Sites were flat. Easy access to the creek, but you can only see the creek from Creekside #3. I also recommend the duck eggs and goat sausage from the mercantile!

Eagle's Nest Treehouse is truly magical! Lesley was such a kind, responsive, and accommodating host and made everything easy. We loved all the sights and sounds of the Highland cattle, geese, ducks, dogs, deer. We purchased meat and eggs from the ranch and made delicious burgers for dinner and scrambled eggs for breakfast. We roasted marshmallows and made s'mores around the fire pit. The treehouse itself is nestled in a beautiful and secluded wooded area, and is so well-appointed and cozy. I could not have asked for more and can't wait to come back.

Such a beautiful property! We soaked in the hot tub and dried off around the fit pit, the facilities are really well cared for. I didn’t realize we couldn’t drive onto the grassy areas but that’s on me, we parked our camper in the guest area and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Tent camped for a couple nights here with the kids. Really easy spot - fire pit and hot tub and showers were wonderful, and Bolinas great as usual. Hosts were super kind and helpful. The space was filled with families with kids - which was great for us but it's definitely close quarters if you're not into getting to know your neighbors or hoping for silent mornings. Great spot, definitely recommend.

We were incredibly lucky to have found Sirima & Walter's farm. It was a last minute decision so we were fortunate they weren't completely booked. The property is beautiful and well maintained - the hosts responsive to our questions before booking - directions were very clear - and we enjoyed getting to know a bit more about them. Our camp 'mates' on the property were considerate and pleasant. Its a real gem of a place and we look forward to returning in the Spring!

Loved this spot! Such a treat to be able to camp here. We spent the last weekend with a group of friends here. The highland cows greeted us upon arrival. Campsite 3 offered great shade and close proximity to the porter potty. The ground beef and duck eggs were amazing. Would recommend and hope to return soon!

Very friendly hosts, and family friendly environment. Restrooms, shower, hot tub, hot water all on site, even a small kitchen and bbq if you don’t have your own cookware.
