The tree cabin was such a beautiful and fun experience to share with friends. A very beautiful property, and Suzy was extremely accommodating. The beanbag wasn't the comfiest to sleep on, but the queen bed upstairs was.

I loved the tree house! I went with my boyfriend and it was very romantic. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming, they gave us lemons and greens from their garden and gave us a tour of the grounds. Highly recommend!
I normally go camping through Hipcamp, but this time we decided to try something different. The treehouse was the perfect place to relax, disconnect, and get away from civilization.
The people who live and work there were friendly and helpful, and they even gave us a tour of the grounds. The property is beautifully maintained and feels secluded from the surrounding area while still being close to everything. There are hiking and biking trails nearby, creative activities to enjoy on the property, and peaceful areas to meditate and ground yourself.
Getting into and out of the treehouse was safe, but still felt like part of the adventure. The treehouse itself was clean, well maintained, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed. The skylights gave us a great view of the trees and sky above, while the decor and design really added to the feeling of actually living in a tree.
There was also a toilet upstairs and a spa on the property, which made the stay even more comfortable.
Overall, it was a unique and memorable experience that we’ll always remember.

Amazing spot! Way cooler than we thought it was going to be. Hosts are very nice.
We are just back from 2 magical nights here. I cannot say enough positive things about this little piece of paradise .incredible views of the mountains from the deck, sitting in a hot tub or enjoying the outdoor shower. Everything has been thought of here on this 5 acre site. My son and nephew slept in the tree house. Loved it. I enjoyed the pagoda. There are so many hidden treats on this property I cannot say enough. We had a great hike just down the road in the national park. And there are so many amazing restaurants within a short drive. I highly highly recommend.
My partner and I visited this Hipcamp for our anniversary and had the most amazing time. The whole area was so beautiful, with so much wildlife and stunning trees and greenery. The hosts Britt and Jessica were wonderful, so welcoming and warm and made our stay 10x more fun than we even thought possible. The treehouse was so much fun and I highly recommend the whole experience!
The Moon Bear Sanctuary was a wonderful place to stay!
We spent a few nights in the treehouse. The ladder wasn't so bad after the 1st trip - it's sturdy and coated in non-skid so it felt very safe to climb. The treehouse was beautiful - nice wood, a comfortable bed and couch, water, and a small fridge to store some snacks. The small toilet up top was also plenty fine, so we didn't have to climb down so often.
The hot tub was nice, but the outdoor shower and fairy-ring firepit were real highlights. It was a beautiful spot to stay!

The cedar gazebo was excellent. Very relaxing and comfortable. Definitely a level up from “glamping.” We really enjoyed the property’s beauty as well as the surrounding area. Lots to do and see in this neck of the woods

We had a phenomenal time at the treehouse! The hosts were so accommodating and made sure we had a fantastic stay. There was a thunder storm which made the treehouse sway a bit but we felt totally safe. Would definitely recommend for adventurous nature lovers like ourselves!
This place is incredibly warm and welcoming. The hosts are amazing and have thoughtfully designed the property so you can relax without a worry. The treehouse itself is unique and well-crafted, and the grounds are perfect for unwinding with beautiful swings, valley views, and stargazing. The nearby town also offers excellent food, featuring delicious, locally grown organic options. I’d love to revisit!
My friend and stayed in both the Tree House and Cedar Cabin for two night best friend healing and connecting getaway. Both spaces are so beautiful, clean, and cozy. The entired property is so stunning and we had so much fun exploring every nook and cranny we could (loved the scavenger hunt!).
Jessica and Brit are amazing hosts. They welcome us with open arms and surprised us with little treats and gifts throughout the stay (thank you for the kombucha Brit!).
We did a healing sound bath lead by Jessica under the redwoods and it was spectacular.
I highly recommend staying here and when you do, take your time exploring their land and soaking up mother nature.
The property is also very close to town if you want to have a meal out or explore the shops. We took a detour home to Bodega Bay to get a bit of ocean time.

This is such a special place, and I can't recommend it highly enough! Surrounded by trees and beautiful views, close to Occidental and other cute towns, very welcoming and accommodating hosts. Looking forward to coming back!
This is hand’s down the best accommodations (hipcamp, airbnb or hotel) we have ever stayed at. The entire property is beyond special and the attention to detail is unbelievable. The treehouse is a perfect combo of rustic and luxury with outlets, a mini fridge, kettle, coffee maker, and incredibly cozy vibe. Miss J went above and beyond as a host, decorating both the treehouse and shared RV kitchen space with sweet valentine’s decor and gifting us chocolate samples, a bottle of prosecco, and homegrown lemons and herbs. From the incredible views to the hot tub and beautiful wood work throughout the property, this place is a special retreat. If you’re thinking about staying here, definitely pull the trigger. It’s much more than a stay, it’s an experience. We will be back!!

This place is magical and the host is incredibly generous and hospitable with their beautiful property. We had an amazing night in the cozy treehouse and went in the hot tub under a super moon. Truly spectacular!
What a special hidden gem! This place is magical and surprisingly fancy in the inside. Super impressive spot. The hosts were the sweetest and most thoughtful. Huge success!
The land itself is gorgeous. A 5 acre plot with tons of space to hang, and dare I say play, in. Rife with redwoods, gazebos, relaxing Buddhist mantras, an adult playground, and more stars than the eye can see. There were tons of little details that showed just how much Miss J truly cares for this space.
Last but not least, the hosts themselves were incredibly kind and approachable. Would definitely come back here!

I can't recommend this treehouse enough! To start off, Miss J was so sweet and gave us a tour of the whole place before we settled in! You could tell she cared deeply about the land and making all of her guests feel welcome! The treehouse itself was something out of a fairytale - the adventure of staying up in the trees, the serenity of the woods, the spectacular views from the jacuzzi.. everything about this place was truly magical. I can't wait to come back and stay for longer next time!

Work, school, life. We all live with our worries, pressures, and responsibilities that often become too much to handle at times. Moon bear lodge really is the perfect place to recharge and connect with nature on a deeper level. The hosts are absolutely amazing, genuine people, and it has been an honor to be at presence of such a special property. If your brain is clogged, you’re having an existential crisis, tired of people, or simply want a very cozy place to read some books, definitely pull the trigger and check this place out.

The treehouse is amazing! Such a cool experience, and the entire property has lots to offer - hot tub, playground, outdoor shower, fire pits, etc. Hosts were very helpful and responsive. I believe they were on property, but we were the only guests this weekend and it felt like we were alone which was nice! The “downtown” has some super cute shops/restaurants and there are hikes and activities to do nearby. Would stay here again!

Jessica is a great host, the place was cozy, the location was 30 min away from beach, and 10 min away from a small town. The ladder up was very scary at first but then became easier. We wish there’s a tv in the treehouse.

What an absolutely beautiful space and kind host. Miss J was incredibly welcoming and the land was perfect. Easy to get to, very quiet, don't miss the chance to stay here!
My boyfriend and I had our anniversary getaway here. We were warmly greeted and given a tour of the property, with a few accommodation options shown to us. We were taken up to the treehouse, where we were informed about everything and assured that we could text them if we needed anything. The treehouse was really nice and cozy, and the property itself was beautiful and amazing. The communication with the host was perfect, with updates on who would be greeting us and showing us around. I would love to stay here again. Overall, it was an amazing experience.
Staying in the treehouse was amazing! Such a fun experience to climb up 30 feet into the trees and stay in a cozy cabin on a beautiful property. The host was extremely helpful and made sure our stay was perfect. We will definitely be back and will be recommending to friends!
