Camp with sweeping views of beautiful pastureland in West Marin. Enjoy privacy, birds singing, cows, chickens, food from the farm, and hiking our gorgeous land that is on the Estero San Antonio. The campsites are spaced far apart from one another to ensure some privacy.  It is very quiet out here at night.  If there are other campers you might hear them in the distance.  All campsite are located overlooking the Estero and close to the grass road to enter and exit the property. You will have access to some of our pastures for picnics and leisurely walks.  When you check in we will give you directions to a few special places around the surrounding area and see if you would like some grassland finished beef, lamb, pork, eggs, or vegetables all grown or made on our ranch.  We offer other care packages, ask us when you arrive (include, home made focaccia, sourdough bread, local cheeses, etc...)  A liability waiver will be needed to be signed. This is primitive camping,  There is water but it is not potable. so bring your own drinking water. It can get very windy out here in Spring and Summer.  Come prepared.  We have situated the campsites to be on the leeward side and as protected as possible.  We try to leave the land better off than we found it and hope that you will share the same respect for the pristine beauty of this place. We are 10 minutes away from the quaint town of Tomale and 15 minutes from the town of Valley Ford. Dillon Beach is only 3.5 miles away.  Bring your own kayak or canoe and paddle to the ocean down the Estero San Antonio! You can learn more about our land and practices check out True Grass Farms online.

The Great Blue Heron
We really loved staying here. This was our first family camping trip so having the amenities of the trailer but also the feel of camping was great.

Goose Nest
We loved camping on G&E's land. The weather was perfect and the site was very private. We would come back again since it's so close to the City.

Quail Nest
Great 4th of July Camping!
When we decided to go camping for 4th of July and were lucky to find this site. Quail Nest was a lot more secluded than a typical state park site and was close to everything we wanted. The site itself has plenty of space for 2-4 people and a great firepit. You're also a short drive from Bodega Bay where there are some great places to stop for food, beer, wine, or ice cream. There are also plenty of things (firewood, fresh eggs, beef, etc) all located for purchase at the farm.

Swallow Nest
Swallow Nest is such a serene and beautiful landscape for camping. We appreciated the prompt and kind communication from Emily and Guido. Directions to the farm store and camp site were spot on. The grass fed beef and scones from the farm were so delicious! We also ordered a bucket of wood for each camp night and was plenty sufficient. The composting toilet was a welcome addition to the camp, well-maintained and clean. Added to all of this were the falcon, owl, hawk and array of bird sitings and camp flyovers, waking to cows mooing across the Estero and the night sky! It can get cold overnight when the fog rolls in, so prepare for that. Finally, the camp sites were well-spaced with no carryover noise from the other camp sites nearby on the property. We will definitely be back!

Egret Nest
Gorgeous campsite in Tomales!
We had the best time at Egret’s Nest! Finding the place and communication overall was very easy and fast with Guido/Emily/Chelsea. The campsite is just by the water and has a gorgeous view of the fields and the hills beyond. You can spot many different kinds of birds, while you take a hike across the property. We also enjoyed the meat, farm fresh eggs and veggies from Guido and Emily’s farm shop! Can’t wait to go back and check out the other spots.
