Beautiful spot, the goats are lovely and it was private as only us there. Patty is so welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed hearing all about Patty’s stories and travels. We did the cheese tasting with her which was so interesting and tasty. We also walked to Bodega and saw the famous school house and had a superb dinner at Casinos restaurant. There was electricity hook up, potable water and toilet. Would highly recommend this camp.
The parking area for our Sprinter was basically a flat piece of gravel roadway that forks (& returns) to the main driveway in ~100ft. It is surrounded by a few farm buildings which seem run down. There are bits of trash and stuff scattered around on the ground. There is a covered parking area between the roadway and the driveway but it is just too low for a high roof Sprinter. There is an occupied dwelling close to the parking area. There were very few goats or other animals there during our visit. Also, the whole area was socked in with cloud (not uncommon in the summer) during our visit, so no expansive views.

My visit to Patty's goat farm was a delightful experience! Patty welcomed us warmly, instantly making us feel at home. We enjoyed a lovely chat with her in the morning, where she shared fascinating insights into her farm activities over the years.
The goats were absolutely charming, and the beautiful surrounding nature enhanced the experience. Next time, we’re definitely looking forward to trying her cheese tasting tour, which I hear is fantastic!
We also explored the quaint town of Bodega, which was a pleasure in itself. On Patty’s recommendation, we visited a pop-up dinner at the Casino bar, and it was excellent—a perfect end to our day. To top it off, we bought some delicious goat cheese made right on the farm at the local market.
Overall, I highly recommend this goat farm for anyone looking for a charming getaway filled with friendly hospitality, delightful animals, and tasty local food!

The location is beautiful and private but close to Bodega Bay, the town of Bodega, and Occidental and Sebastopol. Patty is a wonderful host and knows the area well. The goats are darling; there are pigs and chickens too. We had plenty of room for our camper van and one other vehicle. There was a nice covered area to put our chairs & table and hang out. We would definitely come back!

We heartily recommend a stay at Patty's farm. She is a very welcoming host and we had a great time among the goats. The cover and landing are a perfect location for a small trailer, providing protection from sun, rain and fog condensation with additional space for a small table and chairs. Very close to Bodega Bay and Occidental.
The goat farm was awesome! Very comfortable spot at a distance from the main house but close to the goats and the donkey. The pigs are very excited about the idea that you might be coming to give them food. The donkey brays mournfully at seemingly random times and enjoys gentle scratches and carrots. Patricia is super friendly and helpful and easy-going.

My teenage son and I had a nice stay here in our camper van. Patricia is a kind and interesting person, we enjoyed talking to her. The farm animals are entertaining for a bit, but there is not much to do on the property beyond that, we read and played cards. But mostly we used this as a base camp and ventured out to visit neighboring towns and hike in the redwood trees.
What this place is: a safe, flat place to park for the night. It’s reasonably quiet, although the parking spot is in the middle of the driveway so any cars coming and going will pass by you. (This includes workers as early as 7:00 or as late as 10pm in our experience).
What this place is not: a verdant and bucolic farm, with plenty to do and see. I don’t intend that as a slight, just being realistic. There are a lot of tall weeds and old yard stuff scattered about, and of course an old farm would not be complete without a board with rusty nails pointed straight up, so keep an eye on any little ones. There is a porta-potty in a corner, they are all a bit scary imho, this one is no different. Non-potable water is right at the sight and regular water can be had at the house on top of the hill should you need it. Anyhow, would I go back? No. Would I recommend it? Definitely not for a romantic outing, but for sure fun can be had there, and it’s a safe spot to park for a night. And the host and her dog are lovely! As well the baby goats are adorable, the love to jump about a lot!!
We needed a place to land with our new (to us) trailer, where we felt safe leaving it for a good part of a weekend as we had a family wedding and extra gatherings to attend. We also wanted to be close to Point Reyes and other areas on the coast the check out. Patricia's place is in the heart of the country side. So peaceful and quiet with beautiful views and also lots of fun things to see! - like goats, sheep, pigs, chickens and a donkey (just to name a few), and of course Annie, the hard working ranch guard dog! Patty is very nice and interesting! She came down when we arrived and brought some goat cheese with accompaniments to try. We had great conversations about so many things ! Annie also greeted us and is an total sweetheart of a dog. She never bothered us with barking the entire weekend. Our trailer did not fit under the overhang but that was fine. We had plenty of room right next to it. We had electric to hook up to. She had potable water available outside, so we filled up some gallon jugs we had and filled the fresh tank with some. It's quite a steep hill to get to ranch, so we were glad we didn't fill up before - we didn't need any extra weight for that climb. There was a porta potty available for us, but we didn't use as we had our own. It was a beautiful space to be in, for a morning walk, for quiet nights to sleep, for interesting things to take photos of. We were very happy with our decision to book the goat farm. Thanks Patty!

We had a wonderful time in our campervan at Patricia's farm! Beautiful views and close to area attractions like beaches, hiking, and exploring western Sonoma county. Patricia was a great host, easy to communicate with and provided detailed info about the farm, animals, and local info. The camping setup is simple but had everything we needed (water, electric, porta potty).

Beautiful space on a lovely spacious farm. You truly have the space to yourself and Patricia is a sweet, gracious host. Great spot from which to explore the coast, Armstrong redwoods, etx.
*It is true that it's a functioning farm and there's a rooster so bring earplugs if you're a sensitive sleeper and don't wanna wake at dawn.
Beautiful hillside farm in an amazing part of the world. The goats, chickens and sheep were so much fun.

Patty was the consummate hostess. There is a portable potty and an electrical hookup, for which we were extremely grateful, as we weren’t expecting either one. She didn’t hover, which we appreciated because we did a lot of touring in the few days we were there. However, she did show appropriate interest in what we were doing. Her goats are hysterical to watch and showed some curiosity when we arrived. Be sure to make time for her cheese tasting. Her cheeses are fantastic, and she wisely serves the samples on fruit and vegetables to avoid gluten allergies. (We don’t have any, but figure others might appreciate knowing she does this.) Bodega and Bodega Bay were both locations used in the filming of the film “The Birds,” and the landmarks are pretty cool to see. The local businesses are nice, and don’t miss The Casino, the bar and grill. They have fantastic food, with a new menu every night. There are also some restaurants in Bodega Bay serving clam chowder. We selected Spud Point Crab Company, which was so tasty! They offer both New England and Manhattan styles for a reasonable price. We stood in a line that snaked out into the highway, but it was worth the wait. Be prepared for much cooler weather than inland, because even though we visited in the height of summer months, the night temperatures dropped down into the 50s, and there was a blanket of fog every morning. Her place is definitely off the beaten path, but so worth it. We highly recommend her place to anyone wanting to visit the Santa Rosa area, and be close to beaches, too.

Beautiful area and very kind and wonderful host. I would recommend parking next to the structure. The road biking in the area is spectacular. Be sure to ride to Occidental. We also loved going to the very nearby Casino Bar for their pop up meals in the back.
