Nestled in the redwoods, we have two units. The "Cazita" is a fully-equipped studio cabin with full kitchen and bathroom. The "Redwood Nest" is a standalone tiny cabin/sleeping space with no cooking facilities. There is an attached composting toilet and access to an outdoor open air shower. Both offer quiet seclusion and easy access to all that the lower Russian River Valley has to offer. We are close to both the Russian River, Austin Creek, the coast beaches (15 minute drive), stellar cycling routes and many amazing trails for hiking. Our south-facing property receives full sun unlike many redwood locations. The "Fairy Rings" have been trimmed up for fire prevention and offer great views and opportunities to appreciate the magnificence of these Redwood giants that we love. There is great coffee and Amazing pastries at Gold Coast just a mile away in Duncan's Mills. Jenner is only about 15 mins away with Cafe Aquatica and River's End Restaurant (reservations needed-SO good and special) The "Cazita" sleeps up to 3 guests in a king bed and sofa sleeper and has a bathroom with flush toilet and shower. It has a fully-equipped kitchen with everything needed to prepare your meals. There is a 2 night minimum for booking. The "Redwood Nest" is a standalone room featuring a queen bed and bay window looking out onto a redwood stand. There is a composting toilet in the attached outhouse and an outdoor sink. There are no cooking facilities and no cooking allowed. The redwood nest is really perfect for a couple looking to eat out and then sleep, fully at peace beneath the Redwoods. Please note that there is a friendly dog on the property (although we do not accept pet guests). This property is ideal for quiet people who want to get away into nature, enjoy the outdoors. It is dark at night- we do not have exterior lighting except for string lights and provided flashlights. Quiet hours begin at 9:30pm. There is absolutely no smoking of any kind permitted on the property. Although some reviews mention a hot tub, it is no longer available to guests (sorry, maintenance issues)

The Redwood Nest is a standalone bedroom with electricity and heat but NO plumbing and NO cooking facilities. There is a deck with table and chairs providing additional outdoor space. Guests use the attached "Outhouse" -composting toilet and outdoor sink and have access to the heated outdoor shower on the Bike Barn deck. This is the perfect site for you if you will be eating out, we do not allow camp stoves, cooking or food prep in the outdoor or indoor space of the Redwood Nest due to fire and rodent concerns. There are great dining options nearby- we have recommendations! The Taco Truck in Guerneville (Safeway parking lot) is not to be missed. Gold Coast coffee in Duncan's Mills is terrific for pastries and coffee. The General Store in Duncan's Mills has great sandwiches, too. If you want a very special dinner out, get a reservation at River's End in Jenner! The Redwood Nest is 50' across the driveway from The Cazita, so you may have interactions with other guests if The Cazita is booked during your stay. Parking is available in front of the Bike Barn or behind the Redwood Nest.

The Cazita is a studio cabin that sits in the redwoods at the top of the driveway. It has a king bed and sofa bed, full kitchen and full bathroom with shower. Guests can park immediately in front of the Cazita and have access to the outdoor shower and Bike Barn deck. Fifty feet across the driveway is the Redwood Nest, which sleeps 2. Since it can be booked separately, you may have other guests on the property sharing the common spaces (e.g., Bike Barn deck, outdoor shower). Please note that this property is ideal for quiet people who want to enjoy the outdoors and peaceful environment. There is no loud music or outside visitors allowed at the property.

Adorable little cabin in the woods, with a great deck! We can’t wait to return. The bed was really comfortable and views of the trees are lovely. Thanks for a great stay!

The best quiet place to enjoy birds, trees, grass and starry nights. As much as I enjoy the river, I could spend the whole day just sitting on the deck. The cabin was equipped with a coffee maker, electric kettle, heater, maps, books that piqued my interest, water jug filled with drinking water from the well, and even slippers and robes. Such attention to detail! The little house was quite spacious! Just bring a fan in hotter months. And the luxury of an outdoor shower! The host was responsive, left very clear instructions and gave me pointers about various beaches. I will be back.

Redwood Nest
We had a great rest at the Redwood Nest between ocean hikes and riding bikes in the nearby redwoods and oak woodlands. Super comfortable and peaceful, and the outdoor shower has an incredible daytime view of the hills or is lit up by stars at night. The bike amenities make me want to come back with a group of friends and spend more time riding in the area with Stephen’s place as a base.

Very quiet and peaceful location, and charming cottage. Kitchen was well stocked with two ways of making coffee (important). Hosts including the dog were so kind and welcoming.

Cozy little Cazita
The Cazita
It was an awesome experience. It had everything we need. Im very happy I booked this place. Stephen was incredible he helped us a lot and answer all our question. I highly recommend this amazing spot. It was the first time using this app but I am glad I found the cazita to stay there and chill with my family.

I Highly recommend this beautiful place. It has everything I need. I went there for my boyfriend birthday mostly because he loves to do mountain bike and he found some Great routes. Stephen was awesome always helped us with all the questions. We will definetely comeback again.

The Redwood Nest is a gem! Very cozy and the outdoor area was perfect for eating, reading, or gazing off into space. We also loved the hot tub. I highly recommend staying here!

Have stayed at Comova several times. The location and space are amazing! I also love the bike literature and bike barn. Steve is a real one and a great host. Can't recommend enough.
