One-room cottage with a super-comfy queen-size bed, TV, refrigerator, and private bathroom with a composting toilet. There's also a private outdoor shower and hot tub available. We're on three-quarters of an acre with lots of trees (redwood, juniper, walnut, apple, plum, etc.), a hammock under a redwood circle, and a small pond. During the summer months, you can feast on cherries (June), plums (July), peaches (August), and blackberries (August–September) from our yard. Important Note: We are in a residential area, and the cottage is about 100 feet from the main house, which is our residence. The hot tub is exclusively yours to use during your stay, and there is a privacy screen for added seclusion. We also have two friendly cats, Gracie and Loki, and Ella, a goofy Golden Retriever, who may be roaming the shared yard. We're just 5 minutes away by car or 20 minutes on foot from the charming town of Sebastopol, 20 minutes by car from the Russian River and the beaches of Bodega Bay, and about an hour north of San Francisco. Wonderful stay at the cabin!

Crooked Cedar Cottage

I loved everything about this cabin! The place was so cozy, peaceful, and clean. It was amazing to have a hot tub and outdoor shower. The hosts were so kind and helpful and made sure I had everything I needed, including morning coffee and tea! And my puppy loved the place (and the sweetest golden retriever Ella), too. I would absolutely return.

Crooked Cedar Cottage

This cottage is a hidden gem tucked just outside of Sebastopol with easy access to the Russian River, Bodega Bay, and plethora vineyards! Michelle and Jacques were phenomenal hosts, and their pup is a total sweetheart. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub with the lights off, with a clear view of the night sky. The yard is spacious with lots of room for our own dogs to run and relax, and we fell asleep to the sound of crickets both nights. We almost had to cancel our trip due to a nearby fire. Michelle offered a refund before we even knew about it, but thankfully conditions improved and we just had to switch to a different date. Thank you again for your generosity!

We loved staying with Michelle and Jock! The guest property was clean, well-maintained, and both hosts were very friendly and responsive to any questions we had. We highly recommend the breakfast basket as well, filled with chia pudding and muffins! We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. Great stay!

Michelle was a welcoming host and took her time to introduce us to the property and its amenities. She was also full of excellent recommendations for local dining and sights. The cottage is cozy and charming and has many thoughtful touches that made us feel at home. Taking a soak in the hot tub under the trees is a must! There's a small kitchen area with a fridge, tea, and coffee, but would highly recommend adding on a breakfast basket during your stay - the baked goods were fantastic! Our dog had a blast exploring the property and got a very sweet welcome from Ella the golden retriever, along with a bed of his own in the cabin. Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful weekend getaway!

This place puts the HIP in HipCamp! I am so glad that I booked with Michelle & Jock; they were very welcoming but also honored my privacy. The hot tub was great, the bed was good, and everything was as expected, as the photos depict. Thank you again for the surprise slice of birthday cake; it was appreciated and delicious after my bike rides!

We loved this cabin! Even though it's in a backyard, it feels very private. The hot tub is immediately adjacent, which is nice. The host offered a lovely breakfast basket add-on with smoothies, muffins, & OJ. There is a small propane grill at the deck, a fridge and dished/utensils. We would certainly go back.
