We are a 5 acre property and home surrounded by tall redwood and oak trees. Very green and lots of shade. These are the amenities/facilities you will have free access to: Pool, Pool chairs and umbrellas, Deck area with sunset view, trampolines (kids only), and hammocks. Our check in window is strict: 3-6pm. Only later check in is allowed if discussed previously with host. There is no cooking allowed by or at any of the common areas due to flies and critters. Cooking and eating is only allowed by your sites and not in any common areas: Hammocks, Trampolines, Pool Area, tables, sink, and deck please follow this rule because we want to prevent our shared areas to be fly and bug infested. We are still working on ridding the flies and cleaning. (please try to bring prepackaged food or something easy. If anything you can drive 10 minutes to nearby food and grocery). THERE IS A 2-3 MINUTE HIKE TO THE CAMPSITES 1-5! Poolside campsites are closer to the parking and are bigger. This property is my home that I live in with my 2 kids. It is a rustic and homey vibe, definitely not a hotel. We want you to come knowing what to expect. Our property offers a pool and trampolines for the kids. We have a deck patio area that overlooks an amazing view of the redwood forest. Most of our guests are those that come from foreign countries and they all LOVE the property. I love leaving a great impression of our area. CAMPGROUND GUIDELINES -Pack out your trash. -Rinse feet before using the pool. -No pool toys or floaties. -Always supervise kids. -Don’t sit on chair edges or pool cover box. -Use stumps or your own table for cooking (not ours). -Keep the area clean—no food scraps on the ground. -No dogs in the pool area; leashes and cleanup required. -No eating in rooms or cabin. -Check out at the deck. -No smoking (vapes only, away from common areas). -Propane grills only: no open flames or campfires or charcoal. Firewood bundles are $15 per bundle, about 2+hours of burn time. (when campfires 🔥 are allowed). There is a $20.00 dog fee per dog/per stay. You can add the dog fee to your booking or pay cash when you arrive. On our property like anywhere in the woods there are mosquitos, so you should bring bug spray. We offer RV sites, flat area for tents, as well as a Serenity Cabin. Guests love staying here: "From the moment we arrived Chris was nothing but amazing. He helped us get settled in and even recommended some beautiful spots to hike/sight see. They are both so generous! Situated down a quiet rural lane, and secluded by lush California pepper trees, your glamping spot is an ideal getaway for wine lovers who prefer to get away from the city hustle. The camp area has seven spots that can be occupied by other glampers. Onsite parking is available for one vehicle per campsite (additional spots may be available on request). In the morning, grab your coffee and step outside to watch the hot air balloons drift overhead. During the day, sample local vino from the 50+ nearby wineries. In the evening, nosh at one of the great restaurants in Old Town Temecula, and then return to camp for sunset views and fireside relaxation. You should know that there are two free-roaming Blue Heelers who live on the 5-acre property and make regular visits to the camp area. Visiting dogs that socialize well with other dogs are welcome by us and by Molly and Taz as well, but please be honest with yourself and us about your dog's temperament, and book elsewhere if there is ANY chance of canine conflict with our very energetic pups.

We have two very friendly Great Pyrenees, 2 cats, 5 ducks and 10 chickens. Fresh farm eggs available. These animals are all located near the house, and not near the campsites, with the exception of the dogs being known to sleep outside the tents, making campers feel especially safe. My partner and I loved glamping on Sunny's land! We had an awesome time and the energy was down to earth and so fun. Getting greeted by sweet big dogs in the morning was a highlight, as was the family-friendly vibe. Super comfy bed and very short distance to amazing redwoods and Orr hot springs (: Highly recommend!

Great set up for glamping. We used the fire pit and outside picnic table to hangout and watch the sunset. The interior of the tiny home was great. It had AC, hot plate with a kettle, coffee maker and fridge. The shower pressure was great and the water heated up well. Overall great experience for a quick get away.

Weekend Trip to Ridgetop Ranch Getaway

This was one of my favorite Hipcamps! There was a wagon to help us bring our stuff to the camp, but Chris had a buggy that helped us bring our stuff because admittedly I wanted to try out a large battery for my ice machine because I love having ice for cold drinks on a hot day. Me and my buddy brought two backpacking tents and she set up on the platform and I set up on some very comfortable wood chips that were very flat and in the shade. The platform was wonderful for gazing into the valley and stargazing and we brought our own battery for the outdoor lights. There is a granite slab on a long table for cooking and there’s plenty of places to relax like lounge chairs and benches to hang out. The hammock was fantastic. Everything was really close by 10 minutes to town and very close to Hoyt’s Crossing and other swimming holes. Definitely want to come back again and maybe in the chillier times rent the adorable tiny home. Super easy to find yet felt like I was 1,000,000 miles away and there was some kind of hoot owl in addition to the crickets that was just magical.

Ridgetop Ranch Getaway is the perfect place to unwind. You get real privacy, gorgeous views, and a great host. The Yuba River is a quick drive away, and there's a shuttle if you'd rather not deal with parking. If you don't feel like setting up a tent, the cabin is a great upgrade. You wake up to beautiful views right from bed. This was my second visit, and I'm already planning a third.
