Welcome to The Foxes Family Farm! Our property is situated on 5 beautiful acres and we offer private campsites that provide the ultimate in seclusion and relaxation. We have multiple tent/RV sites that come complete with one site with 50 amp and 3 with 30 amp power, water, and septic facilities, ensuring a comfortable stay for you and your motorhome. We also have a cabin available that sleeps 4 people and comes with A/C and a private bathroom. We also have 4 tent sites with potable well water, bathroom and for $3 shower with towel. No need to worry about laundry during your stay, as we have a washer and dryer available onsite. Additionally, we've , equipped with all the amenities you'd need for a refreshing and comfortable stay. We understand that your furry friends are part of the family, so we happily welcome pets to our property. Let them explore and enjoy the great outdoors alongside you. As the sun sets and the night sky blankets the surroundings, you'll have the opportunity to gather around a crackling campfire. Enjoy the warmth, roast marshmallows, and create lasting memories. Please note that campfires are allowed unless there's a fire ban in effect, ensuring everyone's safety. Located just a 35-minute drive from Sacramento, our property offers the perfect blend of tranquility and accessibility. It is at the back of the property so is a little more private with sun in the morning but good afternoon shade. it has a fire pit, water, Picnic table and benches but only 15 amp power. it is convenient, to the guest bath,shower and laundry.

Cattail island is one of my favorite Sites. It has Fresh well water for you to enjoy.It is surrounded by a creek with soft grass to put your tent on where you can enjoy shade most of the day and watch many kinds of wild birds like egrets Redwing blackbirds and mallard ducks. We also have a herd of horses on 100 acres behind you. There is room for 2 tents depending on the size of your tent. There is a 4 x 4 prep table and a fire pit. the lawn is close by and soft for tent camping. We have had several RV vans pull back there because of its private and a little more remote. Parking just east of the cattails.

Next to a small Grove of Oak trees. This is our budget camp spot with water 20 amp electricity that will run your lights and your refrigerator, but not an air conditioner.(not for charging your car) We have a dump station that you can use on your way out. Good for car camping or tent also. It has a fire pit and a picnic bench.

A secluded place Perfect for a large group up to 50 people. It has flat grassy space for all your tents to be together. It has excellent afternoon shade, but for the first half of the day, I would recommend an easy up. The bathroom is about 200 feet away. FAQ Are day campers included in the total guest count, or does it only apply to overnight guests? All campers, whether they are staying overnight or not, must be included in the reservation. Can additional guests be added after the initial booking? Yes, you can modify your trip to add more guests through the Hipcamp app, but you cannot exceed the maximum capacity. Our property is on 5 beautiful acres and offers private campsites that provide the ultimate in seclusion and relaxation. We have 2 RV hook-up sites with 30 amp power, water, and septic. There are also several spots to pitch a tent and a large grass area for tents and/or games We also have a cabin that sleeps 4 people and comes with A/C! No need to worry about laundry during your stay, as we have a washer and dryer available onsite. Additionally, we've crafted a delightful shower, toilet, and laundry room, equipped with all the amenities you'd need for a refreshing and comfortable experience. The hot water shower is available for a small fee of $3, and we've even provided shampoo and conditioner for your convenience. We also have potable water available through our aquifer well. We understand that your furry friends are part of the family, so we happily welcome pets to our property. Let them explore and enjoy the great outdoors alongside you. Stay at this adorable little hideout with air conditioning and private bathroom with a shower that sleeps 4 in 2 full beds. one bed up In a cozy loft and one downstairs. It has a fire pit available with firewood for $20 a night. It also has a barbecue on the patio. We are located in the valley in a farming community that is safe quiet and private. We also have laundry available. The kitchen has a Gas stove and oven, microwave, coffee pot, under counter refrigerator and other small kitchen amenities like cups, plates, pots and pans and a variety of utensils. If something is missing that you need we would be happy to try and help you. The Foxes Hideout is conveniently located close to highway 99 and only 30 min into Sacramento. We are close to two small town stores, gas and propane. There is plenty of space to play games like kickball, Volleyball or just let your dog have lots of Space to run and get exercise! We have lots of trails to go on a walk or you can take a 15 minute drive to the lake at Rancho Seco or the Cosumnes River Wildlife preserve. When the baker is in the house there are always Apple turnovers! No smoking or vaping please.

This is a very convenient place to stay close to Sacramento, and very peaceful! The campsite was pretty, and the access to the bathroom and shower was very convenient. I definitely recommend staying here!

Kat is a kind and communicative host who handled everything with grace, and the property itself is beautiful. That said, this site wasn’t the right fit for our group, and I’d want future bookers to have a clearer picture than I did. The campsite is much closer to the host’s home and neighboring properties than the listing suggests, so noise carries significantly. Quiet hours are in effect but weren’t specified in the listing—worth confirming with Kat directly before booking. For a smaller, mellower group this could be a lovely spot, but if you’re booking for a larger or more energetic crowd, I’d look elsewhere or have a very direct conversation with Kat about expectations first.

This spot was so beautiful! Private, green, cozy. Even though there had been a hard rain the previous night, our spot was dry and comfortable. It was great to have access a real bathroom! The hosts were friendly and accommodating, offering us the ability to camp wherever we wanted, because of the wet ground. Hearing the frogs at night and the bird songs in the morning was magical. Our mixed feelings only come from the fact that we had a dog with us who was reactive to the animal sounds at night. We could hear loud roosters, dogs, horses, coyotes and frogs all night, and while one of us could have tuned it out, the other couldn’t, and our dog barked all night. Ear plugs would help the human , but if you have a reactive dog, this isn’t the spot for you.

We couldn’t have asked for a better first Hipcamp experience than Kat and Steve’s Fox’s Hideout. It was the perfect glamping getaway and a charming, peaceful escape from city life. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth. Kat and Steve made us feel less like guests and more like family. Their thoughtfully built property is clearly a labor of love and embodies everything you’d hope for in a family-run retreat. Our kids had an absolute blast! Between the trampoline and the tree rope swing, the experience felt magical and wholesome—especially with petals gently falling from the trees as they played. Do not skip the pastry add‑on! Kat and Steve previously owned a bakery, and waking up to generous, warm cherry turnovers, and other pastries was an incredible treat. The accommodations were no frills but comfortable. Even the small details stood out, like their well water that tasted better than bottled. Located close to San Francisco, Fox Hideout is an easy, worthwhile getaway, and we fully intend to return. Kat and Steve are wonderful hosts whose property reflects the true heart and pride they put into it. Highly recommended!

The fantasy of the photos and the reality of this place are vastly different. When you arrive what you see is basically someone’s unkept property. There is no pond, no beautiful cottage… only an RV that the grass has overgrown. There’s no breakfast no bbq and no tarts… just a woman roaming down the driveway in her pajamas. Do yourself a favor…. Stay in a Walmart parking lot.

Kat was an awesome host. She showed us exactly where to park and had our breakfast ready right on time. Her waffles are amazing! An added bonus is that is was decorated so nicely for Valentine's weekend. She was so friendly and went above and beyond. It was such a relaxing and peaceful area. Would 100% come back for another stay.

My pups and I loved our stay! There was plenty of room for them to run around and enjoy the fresh air. The spot is quiet, the bathroom is lovely, and the water is the best I've ever tasted, straight from the hose! The hosts are lovely people and I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone wanting an enjoyable stay.

Kathleen is a great host, don’t pass on the waffles or turnovers. They are so good. The space we stayed in was adequately equipped for four of us and comfortable for all of us. The farm cat is a cute little guy too.

What an amazing place to stay! We did a spontaneous honeymoon getaway trip right after our wedding (no plans just spontaneous decision making) so we decided on staying at the foxes getaway and it did not disappoint. The apple turnovers are to DIE for and the house was adorable. We did have our two little doxies with us and they loved being able to graze the yard. The cute little town of galt was nearby and we explored the area (great ice cream). Otherwise, it was a beautiful place to stay and the couple who lives there was welcoming as well as kind. I couldn’t have been happier with the decision. Tips for those who want to visit: fridge space is small so be considerate of that and it’s a tiny home so don’t bring too much luggage.

Great location! My stay at the Foxes Farm was exactly what I was looking for. It was calm and quiet and allowed me a chance to relax and recharge. Kat and Steve were wonderful hosts, warm and welcoming and super friendly. I highly recommend getting the apple turnovers! They were amazing and reason enough to stay here again.

What I loved about the Farm View site was an electric hook up and the use of a clean bathroom and shower. Please note this is a farming community with chickens (roosters) and dogs in the neighborhood. That is the noise that is around. There are other people on the property at other sites. Kat is super accommodating and nice. I have stayed here twice and hope to be back.

We had such a great stay at Kat’s! It was very comfortable with all the hook-ups for our trailer. Our sweet dogs were so happy to have the freedom to be off-leash during our stay. Definitely recommend!

We needed a getaway from the city that’s not too far and this farm house was perfect. The area was quiet, the owners are really nice, and the house is cute. I slept in the loft upstairs, got a little warm, I wish the windows had screens. And my one complaint is that the house was not clean
