Very sweet spot, but not for dog.
This spot was so beautiful! Private, green, cozy. Even though there had been a hard rain the previous night, our spot was dry and comfortable. It was great to have access a real bathroom! The hosts were friendly and accommodating, offering us the ability to camp wherever we wanted, because of the wet ground. Hearing the frogs at night and the bird songs in the morning was magical.
Our mixed feelings only come from the fact that we had a dog with us who was reactive to the animal sounds at night. We could hear loud roosters, dogs, horses, coyotes and frogs all night, and while one of us could have tuned it out, the other couldn’t, and our dog barked all night.
Ear plugs would help the human , but if you have a reactive dog, this isn’t the spot for you.
