Stargazing, swimming and peace.
We enjoyed staying here! It's far enough off the beaten path that we felt out in the woods--no sounds of cars, construction, planes. Wide open skies at night, great for star gazing. The river/swimming hole was perfect. The pictures don't show how close the cabins are to the owner's home, which was a bit disappointing. Piles of wood, rusted out cars, ramshackle buildings throughout. We were there by ourselves most of the weekend, but if there had been other campers, it would have felt too close for comfort. Also, even the flat areas (table specifically) were slightly slanted, so we had to be careful else our food would roll off our plates.
Be aware there's some poison oak around the area. And fire ants! And Gnats! None of that is the owner's fault---just something to keep an eye out for when you're hiking around.
Hosts were super responsive, and even though we didn't see them in person much, we felt very well cared for on our trip.

Didn't realize the site was newer when we booked but it explains a bit! The place itself is great, some of the riverbank is steep and slippery but overall the swimming hole is fun and cool on a hot day. The water is slower than I would've liked, obviously that's outside of their control, but this meant bugs. We came back home with our legs covered in bites, so be prepared for bug repelling. The site itself was good overall, altho it was very dusty and the wayfinding could be improved. There's no cell/wifi service so try to have the directions downloaded before you get there (good habit for hipcamp in general). The cabins were great! Minimal, no kitchen or hookups, which was totally fine (and as described). Kids had fun, so I'd call that a success

Fun river trip
The river was a great way to spend the hot days! The flush toilets were not advertised, so they were a pleasure to find upon check in. Site 3 could have had a flatter area to camp but we were able to put up our 9x11 tent. All in all, a fun camping trip!!

Lovely Camping with child and dog
We loved getting to camp at Noleen's Hipcamp, with the gorgeous mountain views and pristine private river access, trails to explore and spaced out camp spots, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Hosts were very friendly and hospitable, professional and available if need be. We loved the charming creative custom fire pit, lovely garden and play are for young kids, and special flairs like the rocking bench, cleanly kept outhouse, and most of all much more space per family than any other campground we have visited. We are grateful and hope to visit again soon! 🥳

Fun in the River!
My son and I stayed in tent site 3 towards the end of August. Our favorite part about camping here would be the river! Bring water shoes. We walked down, through the water and explored a good ways. I recently started fly fishing. This spot was perfect. I was able to stand in the water and practice casting. Not many trees above and not too much to get snagged on below. Thank you for sharing your property we would love to come back!

Cabin by the River
Very close to the river with hiking all around. We stayed in cabin #1 with 2 adults and a dog for one night and it was perfect for a quick getaway. Everything was exactly how described in the listen. We loved it!

We saw pictures of green grass and instead we see the dry fox-tail grace which is harmful to our dog, and we didn't know that there was a bear, and the river is very shallow. I'm sorry but we didn't expect this view.

This is a very pleasant campsite on a beautiful property along the river. The site has shade, water, a good amount of flat space for tents, lots of chairs, a picnic table, and a cute little outhouse with flush toilets. It is very private from other campers, but close to the hosts' home so there is some noise and light from the family's activities. Noleen greeted us on the way in and was super nice. The swimming hole on the property was pretty and very refreshing on the hot day we were there. Over all a great experience and I hope to return!

Brought my dog
It was amazing my dog loved being able to swim in the river and you were able to swim around the corner and they had set up chairs and inner tubes and had lifejackets available! I met one of the hosts and he was really nice and asked if we needed anything. Definitely trying to come again next weekend :)

Birthday time in the river
Nice little cabin. The outhouse I find to be adorable. I loved the crystals within the cabin and the huge window near the bed is simply lovely.
The water was clear and the beach near by and is magical. Wonderful spot.

Fun river camping
Nice campsite with access to stream. It was really hot (98 degrees) and I was happy we did tent camping instead of the cabins. I think cabins would be great during slightly cooler weather. Swimming in the creek and nearby air conditioned wine tastings helped us beat the heat. All in all a fun trip!

Noleen’s property is a wonderful space! She was super accommodating for us—we like to sleep in our SUV and she said she is currently making improvements for that to be possible. She generously offered us the meadow area which was nestled near some gorgeous trees and gave us a view of their super cute backyard garden. We’re hoping to be able to visit again before the season is over.

The river was so lovely and I highly recommend using the trail to walk a little up river for some flat surfaces to lay and lounge. The instructions from Noleen were great and made the place much easier to find. Thank you for the beautiful stay!

Review for cabin 2
Cute little cabins in a nice area - super close to the river. Minimal amenities, which is totally fine with me, but talking with the host and they mentioned they will be adding some features to make it a little more private, adding some camping spots and more.
I only stayed one night because it was a halfway point to where I was traveling from the Bay Area, but I’d be interested to stay longer next time I’m in the area.
