Curley RV Site
Stayed here with my partner and our dog for our dog’s birthday. The area is even better than photos! The river was our favorite, it was so beautiful even though it was cold this time around. Our dog especially loved roaming around! The bathrooms seemed very clean and the propane tank and running water was super useful right next to our tent. Would definitely come back! Thank you for everything :)

Larry RV Site
We really enjoyed our stay! We lucked out and had the whole site to ourselves during the middle of the week! The Larry & Curly sites are right next to each other. Curly is larger than Larry. The bathrooms and showers are well kept. We’ll definitely be back!

Riverside Tent Site
River camping!
Rock n Water cove (river site) was really great for a family of 3. We were soooo close to the river and had a lot of privacy from the main trail (people will pass by to get to the river/beach area). Loved that a propane tank fire pit and a separate canopy was already provided. Just remember that it’s not a drive up site, you will need to use the wagons provided to cart your gear to this specific site, and that the bathrooms/showers are a bit of a walk so we brought a small foldable porta potty for our potty trained toddler because we would definitely not have made it to the bathrooms for the short notice these kiddos always give us! Also nice that we were only 30 minutes away from Apple Hill! A nice surprise we got to enjoy offsite.

Moe RV Site
The place was very clean. There is a beach on the American river to dip in. The river is dangerous so be careful. There is power and water at the campsite. There is a lot of hiking, river activities and live music in the area. The campsite was level for a camper trailer.

The river !
Beautiful land , especially if you can land there before the weekend , the river beach is amazing with two very easy entry points and another eddy you can cool off in , highly recommend if you are car camping or in a camper to book “ moe” it’s the most set back space and the furthest away from the bathroom which has lights on outside all night , kris is responsive and accommodating to slight changes of plan if possible , I am so glad I landed here for two nights

Beautiful campground with lots to do, frisby golf, volleyball, small beach on the river. You can tell this campground is well taken care of. Clean bathrooms and kitchen sinks were a big help since there isn't sewer access for trailers.

We loved this spot! The river bank is beautiful, the bathrooms are clean, and the hosts friendly and responsive. We had a lot of privacy at “Moe”. Lots of whitewater rafting very close which was really fun too.

Camping with great extras!
My friend and I loved staying at The Cove Campground! The amenities were as described and they were clean! The river was beautiful and there are many mermaid rocks to lounge on. On the plus side, the campground owners abide by a moral code and they ask that all campers conduct themselves in a way that respects that, which yields to a welcoming, safe, and very family friendly environment. We had a great time and we’re looking forward to staying again.

We didn’t get the opportunity to camp here! We postponed our trip due to severe heat-then realized a wildfire was in the area. We called Kris and she confirmed there was a possibility of needing to evacuate. We cancelled and she quickly refunded our payment! We definitely will try again.

Unfortunately we were not able to camp here due to fire, however Kris was really great and communicative, and in fact notified me as soon as the fire was a concern (I found out from her message before from “the news”) and offered a refund. She was also great about other questions I had prior to the fire. Was really looking forward to camping here and hope to in the future. Hope they get through this fire season ok.

Amazing campsite with so many amenities! We stayed for one night at the "River" site and was not disappointed. Great views, secluded sites, gas burner and plenty of parking. The hosts are super friendly and warned us about a wildfire not too far away. Thank you for looking out and hope to come back and visit soon!

Gorgeous riverfront camping
We loved this spot! The river access is AMAZING. The bathrooms and showers were sparkling clean and the wash stations by the kitchen were super convenient. We played cornhole and ping pong in the evening after watching the sunset and taking a late dip in the river to beat the heat. Kris was so accommodating! We will be back for sure to stay in the River and Canopy sites with a group!

We loved camping with Kris at the Oak spot. The space was great for tent camping and so nice to be so close to the river. It was cold in the water but it felt so nice because it was hot! We’ll definitely be back!

Great experience!
This was one of the nicest campsites I have ever been to! They had freshwater, showers, bathrooms, sinks, and the river is a short walk from each site. We couldn’t have asked for more! Except maybe to have been able to stay longer… we did end up adding one more night to our stay because it was so relaxing. I should mention we brought two toddlers and two dogs…so calling camping relaxing with this circus: unheard of. Cannot wait to book another stay very soon. Thanks, again, Kris and Paul!

Oak Tent Site
The site was clean and had lots of amenities. Especially helpful was the dish sink and the many tables with shade tent. We also appreciated flush toilets and showers! The camping area was nice and quiet and the other campers were respectful and friendly. The access to the river was easy and we loved playing in the water and chasing the shade.

Really lovely place, and well set up and cared for. We were there during the week and it was super crowded. Even in very hot weather, the river kept us cool and it cooled down Nicely at night.

Riverside Tent Site
Camping near the River
Our 3 person family had a great time camping at the river. The weather was super hot, so we spent a lot of the day with our chairs parked partway into the water, or playing in the river (current fluctuates a lot with when water is released from the dam upriver each day). There was limited shade so bringing an umbrella is helpful, and I would have done farther in if I had brought a life jacket.
The campsite is well separated from other sites and close to the river. Other campers were really friendly and fun to share the river spot with.

Great sites seconds from the river
My family had a fantastic weekend here. Sinks, showers and toilets were clean and well stocked. Sites were adequately spaced and grounds were tidy. Beach next to the river was beautiful. Hosts were very welcoming. Great location. Can’t wait to come back!
