If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with a few close friends or your family, this option is for you. Tucked in along the South Fork of the American River, this beautiful campsite features picnic benches, a propane fire pit with propane included (fire pits help prevent wildfires), and a prep table for fixing up those tasty fireside meals. Guests also have access to shared bathroom facilities (and yes, there are showers!), volleyball, ping pong, communal benches, a sink and dishwashing station, and a common swimming area along the river. Most sites are within a very short walking distance to the banks of the South Fork of the American River, this place is ideal for anyone interested in experiencing the beauty of the foothills and the rush of the river. We offer both tent and RV sites. Each RV site includes its own picnic table, water and 30Amp power hookups. Guests will also have access to our volleyball court, ping pong, communal benches, and a common area with a sink and dishwashing station. Additionally, you can access the swim area and go for a dip to cool off on a hot day. If you're looking to steal some time away to reconnect and camp, this is the place for you. People of all ages can camp out, swim, and play. We offer toilets, showers, trash disposal, potable water and more depending on the site you chose. Leashed pets 45 pounds or less are allowed as well. Enjoy biking, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, paddling, climbing, swimming, whitewater rafting, and wildlife watching all nearby, or on site.

Ridiculous Cancelation Policy
It’s 106° at RockNWater Cove camping right now, and forecast to hit 107. I tried to cancel six days before this reservation, but their policy is zero refund at that point.

Clean, well kept land! The river is beautiful and it really helped us stay cool in 110+ weather. It was fun watching kayakers and rafters. The host greeted us and he was friendly and gave us a quick run down of rules and amenities. Remember to look up in the evening, the stars were spectacular.

Moe RV Site
I was at the Moe RV site for a week last month. The site is suitable for a smaller trailer and has water/elec hookup. The site is shady, clean and is not too close to the other sites. There are 3 toilets and 2 showers in a trailer on site. The showers are quite basic but the water if hot. The host were very nice and friendly, checking with me several times to make sure everything was fine and that I didn't need anything. Access to the river was a short 2 min walk down the hill.

Hilltop Tent Site
Paul was very kind to us considering we were a large group the only thing we could not stand was the heat but everything else was good. Bathrooms were nice and clean

Small beach, beautiful river
The photos of the sites could be better shown in photos, like the main road goes right in front of the RV/trailer sites. River is beautiful. Can get crowded with groups in the other sites so there could be a few more sites along the river leveled so we can all get to the river

Riverside Tent Site
So beautiful!
We loved camping at the River site. Upon arrival, it is a little bit of a walk to get to the site. The site itself has an easyup set over a table so it’s nice to have a little shade, and you can leave yours at home. Plus a propane fire pit that’s perfect for roasting marshmallows! This spot was pretty secluded considering the beach was right down a short trail.
