Sunrise Ridge Campsite
Great place to spend the night with family. Beautiful night views and sunset views. The road to getting there is a one way lane and very narrow so keep that in mind. It gets very windy also. They have a large tennis court u can play in. The domes are pretty cool and also have some chicken in the back of the hills u can check out. Hot showers and toilet available there’s bbq equipment u can use too.

My buddy and I had mixed feelings about our stay. On the plus side, Amy was incredibly responsive and handled a power outage quickly. You also truly cannot beat the view as it is stunning.
However, for a full recommendation, several areas need attention. The site feels a bit neglected: electrical lines aren't properly protected, the tents seem to be used for owner storage, and the outdoor amenities were hit-or-miss. The grill had a rusted burner dial making it hard to cook, the fire pit was out of gas, and the surrounding cinderblock wall felt unstable with loose, unmortared blocks.
While the listing didn't promise Wi-Fi, there is an extender on-site that doesn't work. Additionally, the Porsche near the bathroom is significantly more rusted than the listing photos suggest. Lastly, we were offered a comped day for leaving early, but were disappointed to find out it only applied to a "future stay" rather than a refund. There is great potential here, but the upkeep needs to catch up.

beautiful views sunset and sunrise - love love the sounds of bird song as the sun sets. Early moning the fog covers the valley and you get an above the clouds view. amenities are functional - toilet and hot shower, not the cleanest but does the job.
On the con side, it feels like you are on a construction site, a little messy with work in process all around, there wwere a couple of friendly dogs but they pooped right where i setup my kitchen and peeded all over my containers.
For the price, i had much higher expectations

Valley View campsite 🏕️
We had a wonderful stay at this campsite. The views are absolutely stunning, and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. Amy is incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating. The campsite itself is private and peaceful. We also enjoyed using the tennis court during our stay. It can get a bit windy up there, but the view makes up for it. Highly recommend.

Very friendly hosts. They had a grill and some pretty cool chairs that looked at epics views. Could see the sierra mountain range from my tent view which was epic.

This place is great and so private. It's wonderful to have a place where you can let your dog roam as well. Amazing view and yes, the pictures are accurate. Would definitely stay here again.

Amy and Jim graciously accommodated a last minute request after a prior plan fell through. They were very responsive when various issues came up with the RV's functioning. The RV was well equipped, clean and cozy.Directions to the site were clear. The location was fabulous - nearby and easy to get to from San Francisco but felt remote once we arrived. Very private, isolated flat hilltop with gorgeous 360° views. Awesome viewing of sunsets, sunrise and starry night skies. Wind picks up at night. Just down the road from Morgan Territory Preserve with its extensive and beautiful hiking trails.

I loved my stay here. Direction to get there was easy, Amy was great at communicating and replied right away whenever I had any questions. The RV was clean and had everything we needed, instructions were clear. The sunset view was great and had a short hike through the beautiful landscape. It did get a little windy, being on the top of hill. but the view was amazing. So close from the bayarea yet you feel you're in quiet and private area. The sunrise was breathtaking. This place is beautiful hidden gem.

Amy's place are gorgeous. No language can discribe the amazing view of the clouds here. We are stunned by the panoramic views . Each corner has different beautiful scenery. Even we stayed there in the foggy days we still had fun. Amy is very kind and easy to communicate. We definitely will visit again.

Sunrise was the best part of the trip. The trailer is perfect for 4 people. More than 4 would be too tight. A great getaway place in the East Bay!

Very quiet and safe! The sunrise and sunset on the top of the mountain are super shocking! We also saw meteors at night. You can see the sky full of stars at night. 5 star trip！We will come back in different seasons～

Amy’s place is so amazing to disconnect completely . Sunrise and sunset is so spectacular that it puts anyone in awe.
It’s clean and has all basic amenities to be live on top of the hill . Super reachable from the bay.

Great spot to hang out with friends! Perfect spot for a post mount Diablo hiking day to relax, grill, and enjoy a beautiful sunset above the clouds. The RV was clean and came with everything needed to cook + sleep. I’d recommend for a quick getaway from the city.

I celebrated my birthday here this past weekend with my partner and a couple friends and our dogs, and it was a really nice close to home adventure. The site is very private, you're the only group there, and there is a ton of room. There are 360 views that made for great sunrises and sunsets - we even got to howl with the coyotes at one sunset, quite a vibe!
We hiked at the Morgan Territory Preserve that is indeed right across the street, it was beautiful and that was a big bonus of staying here for us. It rained our first night so we weren't able to bike on the trails, but hopefully next time we can do that too.
We really enjoyed using the grill and also having the cozy trailer available to hang out in, as it was really understandably windy at times at the top of the hill (PS bring a windbreaker). The dogs absolutely loved sniffing around (and the hike of course), heads up that coyotes and other predators may come through and rattlesnakes do live in the area as well, so it's good to keep an eye out for them if you're visiting with a dog. We found it best to have their beds/chill spots set up in the car to keep the trailer clean as the Host clearly takes amazing care of the trailer and we wanted to keep it that way too!
