Nearly four acres close to town and amenities, yet quiet and secluded. Away from any major roads and on quiet nights, the fog horn from the Big River buoy can be heard. Wildlife on the property include piliated woodpeckers, deer, raccoons, jack rabbits, bears (keep your trash and food inside!), mountain lions, foxes, and of course, our resident ravens. Wild huckleberries and rhododendrons are abundant among the redwoods and fir. A beautiful spot to spend the night!

In the tiny house, there is a full size mattress in the loft and a twin mattress in the lower main room. Bedding and bath towels can be provided at an extra cost (see extras). Full kitchen with refrigerator/ freezer, coffee maker, propane stove/oven, and sink. There is a full shower inside and a private pit toilet/outhouse outside.

The fisherman’s shack was amazing! Exactly what we wanted and so close to town and the beach. It felt like camping with a little more shelter. The site was beautiful and very well kept, and the host was very sweet.

What a gem! The site is a short 3 minute drive into the heart of downtown Mendocino. It's also far enough off the freeway that there's no road noise. There are a lot of trees that give proper outdoor camping vibes. The site was appointed as advertised with a table, firepit, and lots of nicely split and aged firewood. There are other sites within ear and eyeshot so its not the most private but we didn't mind, still much more space than a commercial campground and very quiet. We'd definetly go back.

We loved this little house. It was super cozy and the setting was beautiful. Has everything you need. Really enjoyed the outdoor space with campfire and table. We were a little disoriented coming in late in the dark, but obvious once we figured it out. We would love to come back.

Woods Tent site was really lovely! The site is a bit smaller I expected. Molly did clearly state it was small so not her fault :) It worked out well with one large tent and one small pup tent. I was thrilled to discover there is no poison oak around the site which is a big plus for me! I would definitely recommend!

Beautiful experience!
Sunset Cabin
I loved camping in the sunset cabin. It was so peaceful and clean. The cabin was secluded away from the other campers. The outhouse is also very clean. It’s less than a mile outside of the main town. It’s the perfect location. The cabin is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. We cooked all of our meals on the campfire.

This was a wonderful little spot that we enjoyed so much! It was perfect for our needs- ample firewood and a chasing area in front of the cabin to cook, eat and hang out around the fire. It was quiet, comfortable, and an all around lovely experience!

Great location! So nice to have the fireplace and the stove. Loft bed was incredibly cozy in the redwoods. Great kitchen setup for such a small space too--everything we could have wanted--just remember to bring layers for the fog!

I loved camping in the Fisherman’s Shack! It was such a cute place and we had tons of privacy. We had our own fire pit and toilet. The pit toilet was so well crafted and clean. I would totally come back!

Peaceful Coastal Basecamp

We had a great time spending three days and three nights at Molly's Land durimg 4th of July weekend. The campsite was spacious, peaceful, and had plenty of room to spread out and relax. We brought our own water setup, and everything worked out great. The location is hard to beat..just minutes from the charming town of Mendocino and less than 10 minutes from Fort Bragg, making it easy to explore both areas. At night, you can even hear the ocean in the distance, which made for a really relaxing atmosphere. There are also a few nice trails nearby, and the coast is just a short drive away. Our dogs absolutely loved having the space to roam and relax, and we appreciated how quiet and private the campsite felt. Overall, it was a perfect base camp for exploring the Mendocino Coast while still feeling like you were tucked away in nature. We'd definitely stay here again and would highly recommend Molly's Land to anyone looking for a peaceful camping spot near Mendocino and Fort Bragg.

Have mixed feelings about this one. Tiny house has a weird smell which was super annoying! Fire-pit and dry wood blocks were nice. I am grateful for the good quality pans on site! Made cooking dinner a breeze so we didn't have to go out during the 4th. A bit pricey compared to other hipcamps I've been to, but had a good time regardless.

All the sites are cozily set in Monterey Pine hollows with sweet little fire rings and stacks of firewood. Lovingly created homestead just down the road from Mendocino. The RV/tent site was convenient and had a great little area for my tent.
