Turkey Tail Camp
This camp spot has a picture perfect background of redwood forest. The bird life was amazing. Great spot for a bird nerd.

Red Tail Hawk Camp
Lovely farm to stay on! The land was well maintained and Sojourna gave good directions to get there. It was nice staying so close to Fort Bragg.

Red Tail Hawk Camp
Great stay!
The campsite was really nice and quiet, next to a grassy field. We were there one night and it was great to have a campsite close to Fort Bragg that’s away from the noisier areas. The bathroom was close by and having access to a shower was great during the heat wave. The sites are a little close together but there was only one other couple there too and there was an empty site between us. It was very quiet at night, you could hear the skunk train in the distance. Sojourna came by and chatted with us, she was absolutely lovely. We got more insight into the farm and it cemented wanting to come back. Thank you for the great stay!
Blue Heron Camp
Beautiful but not quiet
When we arrived, we were initially charmed by the location: beautiful forest, inspiring garden, clean and practical toilet and shower, location close to town. The host responsed fast and with details and attention. Sadly, we changed our minds in the evening. The curfew wasn't respected by the other guests, and the hosts didn't make sure it was. The idea of a communal campfire is interesting, but it also encourages discussions that can go on late into the night, or exaggerated children's screams that are not managed by the parents, and thus disturb the sleep of the other campers. We had chosen this spot because of its reputation for tranquility, praised by the hosts. Unfortunately, in our case, this was not the case at all. We suggest that hosts remove this mention, as well as the curfew, to avoid any misrepresentation. We had initially thought of extending our stay by a few nights, but the lack of silence on the first night convinced us to leave. Unfortunately. 65$ a night seems a lot to me for not being entitled to the silence and tranquillity of the the forest.

This was a lovely place to stay. The property is spacious and well maintained. We enjoyed the communal campfire and the garden tour. Location was perfect for exploring the coast.

Blue Heron Camp
I loved that there were tables and chairs, lots of space for us to car camp, showers, and two toilets available. Lovely property and nice host! Signs are hard to read when arriving at night, but Sojourna was quick to remedy that for future campers. Overall, great stay!
