I can’t speak highly enough of the tiny Blue. Perfect setting; perfect hostess; perfectly kind llama and the sweetest farm dog west of the Mississippi. I left a piece of my heart with the birds on those ponds and I hope to retrieve it someday.

Dry Creek Camp ( except in spring)
The camp host and camping spot are both nice. I would simplify the directions. I was confused by the directions. You should know it is windy - I’m from point arena. We have strong coastal wind. We are used to wind. - It can be WINDY at the farm. It was a good spot for dogs.

Beautiful and peaceful. We stayed here on a one night getaway. It was restful and so quiet, just the birds and the wind. Went for a short bike ride (lots of climbing into Toiyabe Forest on dirt roads, then lots of dirt bikers and noise up there). Green and comfortable temperatures in mid-May. Wendy is a wonderful host, kind and helpful. We ordered the rotisserie roasted chicken which she delivered, right at dinner time. It was delicious and a wonderfully welcome hot meal we did not have to cook!! Recommend for the tranquility and beautiful views!!

Lovely spot with easy same day booking. The land was beautiful and the campsite had a bucket toilet, firepit with wood, table and benches as well as ample spots for parking. I think this spot might be a bit rough at certain times of year for a low car or one without 4-wheel drive.
Make sure to check the specific instructions versus just the address, which comes in a follow-up email (which I failed to do!) or you will end up in a random spot. Also this is a pack in and pack out, so bring bags to collect the contents of the bucket toilet (last people did not pack out their waste, which was sorta gross).

Dry Creek Camp ( except in spring)
Wendy was a lovely host, coming out on her ATV with a roasted chicken, and guided us to a lovely site above a bubbling creek and stocked with firewood. That was the most fresh chicken I have ever had!
Loved the dark skies.
Would suggest that the directions to the property be revised.

The tiny home, Blue was perfect for our weekend getaway. We were able to experience the Sierra Mountains in mid November. Wendy was very friendly and helpful and couldn’t ask for a more perfect host!

We just love the experience there. It's peaceful, quiet.
There's lots of wildlife.
And Wendy is a terrific host. She has great stories to tell and always get you laughing. The extras that you can get there, which is chicken and smores were just fabulous.The chicken was so juicy and tasty. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to get away for the weekend.We will be back.

We were there a couple of weeks ago.It is pretty easy to find ,You Stay on the gravel road.We had a great time. Wendy is very knowledgeable.And she's fun to talk to.She brought us a delicious chicken.Some eggs and smores we are going back next weekend.It was so great peaceful and quiet. We would give this a 10 starand it's a great place to take your family.They do allow dogs.

My sister and I loved this place. We also love the host. Wendy B. She went above and beyond to help us. My sister's blood sugars dropped while putting up our tent. Wendy came to the rescue with fruit and a gift of fresh eggs. She also helped us put up our tent. This place is tucked away from the city, but close enough to get whatever you need. This place is warm and welcoming. They are in the process of making things even better for people who love to camp. We will be back to enjoy these improvements. A great place for a woman considering the nomad lifestyle to get accustomed to things. Wendy B. Is an exceptional host. Thank you so very much for your kindness!

We were able to experience a really beautiful sunset during our overnight stay. There is plenty of wildlife around and plenty of nature to take in. Wendy was very helpful and kind definitely worth a stop through.

My sister and I love this place!!! It is secluded and tucked away, but still close to amenities. Wendy B. is an extraordinary host. My sister's blood sugars were low she came with fruit to help her out. She proceeded to help us with our newly acquired tent. She did not give in or give up. She kept us going! She is the true embodiment of a good neighbor and a gracious person. She brought fresh eggs, too! These spots are well thought out. Included chairs. My sister and I look forward to visiting again and again!

Arrived at night, was very grateful for Wendy’s guidance on how to find the site. Woke up to a stunning view! Beautiful quiet open space, with an outdoor potty set away from camp, a picnic table and we were the only ones there. We highly recommend that you stay here!

Absolutely exactly what I needed which was a list minute, safe place to sleep before continuing my drive down to CA. Wendy was very communicative and I felt very safe. I even slept in!

We sadly were not able to stay here due to a nearby wildfire, but the host was extremely communicative about the issue and told us as much as she could as far in advance as possible. I would absolutely book here again because of that.

Wendy has an incredible piece of land that has had so much thought put into it. Her stewardship forward touches like the steam solar shower, fresh eggs and late night check in campsites for late arrivals are just some of the many wonderful touches. Just wrapped up a fantastic Labor Day weekend at Wendy’s campsite! Her beautiful farm boasts stunning views and a variety of plots to choose from. Wendy was incredibly kind and accommodating, making our stay memorable. We camped at Bobcat’s Road, and despite the high winds and a few curious wasps, it was a wonderful experience. Plus, it's dog-friendly, so our furry friends had a great time too. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!"
