Village Camp Truckee offers a convenient location close to Truckee and Donner Lake, with a peaceful atmosphere despite the proximity to I-80. Campers appreciate the clean, well-maintained facilities and the family-friendly activities, including weekend breakfasts and evening s'mores. The park provides a mix of modern amenities and natural surroundings, though some visitors feel the RV sites are too close together. While most experiences are positive, some guests have encountered issues with reservations and misleading site photos.

Truckee Village Camp puts you right near this cool little Sierra town filled with great food, shops & fun things to do. Coyotes yipping near camp made you feel like you were out in the hills. We had a little private bathroom & shower (site 112) just a few spots down which made it even nicer.

This is a perfect spot for an easy Tahoe trip. I like that it had everything I could ever need including a washer and dryer. Super helpful. It was extremely clean and the bed was crazy comfortable. Would definitely return.

Misleading pictures on the site. There were cabins on my booths sides. Front has shipping containers like modular huge cabins. I recommend hipcam to remove this listing. My camp place did not looked like anything like pictures. Any questions please contact me by email.

Nice, well-maintained property! Sue, the long-time Operations Manager, was especially helpful! She helped us retract our awning which was stuck in the down position - above a beyond her normal workload!

Stayed for the week. Good sites, very easy pull through options. Lots of trees, so even though it was in the 90s the whole camp is shaded. Food trucks stop by. Walking distance to downtown and 12 min to Palisades. Clean facilities + Laundry for the win.

10/10 best glamping experience!!!!!

Adventure Cabin (Pet-Friendly)
Absolutely best family experience I’ve ever had!! This was glamping to the max! We stayed in the modern “cabin” tiny home and honestly, the highlight was the high thread count of the sheets and bedding! So luxurious! And they said pet friendly they meant it. Our little pug was welcomed with open arms and we had such a good experience. Some places will say a pet friendly, but then add all these hidden fees and rules. Not this place. Straight forward pet deposit and rules. We stayed for Memorial Day weekend and they had so many family fun events for free! Bbq, live music, bounce house. Truly a wonderful community and paradise. We are even looking to buy into the cabin for the summer. Now let’s get into location. Perfectly located in the summer or winter months whether you are heading to Reno to scooter along the river walk, hit up the waterpark in sparks, or head to kings beach to winter wonderland proximity to snow parks and resorts. 10/10 experience! Highly recommend!! Oh and let’s not forget about the coffee pods and fire pit and free books to relax….truly amazing!!!

This site #93 was very small and no table as told. The people next door had their screened in patio right in front of where my door opened. We requested the site across from us and they moved us right away ! Thank you to the management, site 101 was great !!
