Site 4 - Enchanted Forest Retreat w/Showers
We stayed in campsite 4 which had a nice view and was mostly flat. The road in and out of the campground is narrow and steep, making the drive to Santa Cruz and neighboring state parks, longer then anticipated.
Sites don't have any fire rings or bear/raccoon boxes. There wasn't any info posted within the campground and we didn't have cell service.
The trail past site 12 and down by the creek was pleasant. We saw banana slugs and newts! It is currently overgrown.
This would be a pleasant place to stay if your only intention is to stay and camp. We were in and out going for hikes and visiting Santa Cruz and the drive was just too long and we didn't know if we could leave materials out without animals getting into things.

Site 6 - Enchanted Forest Retreat w/Showers
overall the experience was fine, the bathrooms are a little jankey and the drive to get there was confusing. the roads are very tiny. i drove a truck and even then it was difficult. besides that the overall experience was great!

Site 11 - Enchanted Forest Retreat w/Showers
Um, nope
We decided not to stay and forfeit our money. The campground is on a steep hill with too many tiny sites, some sites look like the campers are more like residents-couches on the site-looks like an encampment more than a camp ground. Toilets also not up to our very easy going standard. Road through camp ground is extremely steep and narrow. Can’t imagine trying to get there in the dark.

Secluded Tiny House 1 in Redwoods
I loved Jessica’s Cabin so much! It was clean and comfortable and warm, and the nature was absolutely beautiful. It was really rainy on the first night that we got there, and having the extra heater made the cabin extra cozy. Thank you Jessica!

Site 9 - Enchanted Forest Retreat w/Showers
I wanted to love this property.
The photo of site 9 is not the site. Site 9 is horrendously crooked and would be incapable of sleeping in. As noted by the other reviews. I sent a note at 2pm on the day of my first (of two) nights to the host that I would like to switch sites. After several hours without reply I went online. Saw that site 2 was available for the two nights and set up camp there. The following morning I spoke with the maintenance man and explained the situation and lack of reply from Jessica. She ensured me that it was all good. At 630pm on my second night someone came explaining that they had rented it. Almost immediately Jessica *miraculously* replied. 30 hours after my message. Stating that three other. Fully water logged and muddy sites. Were the only available.
This property is only accessible to high clearance 4WD vehicles due to lack of basic maintenance.
The property could be incredible. But filled with shady characters and an absentee host I can’t recommend the property until changes are made.

Beautiful location.
Site 13 is really far from toilet so would not recommend if your camper doesn't have it's own toilet.
