Camping
This place is the best place to camp in town. Such a cute little get away to be up in the mountains with our camper van without needing long hours of drive. Easy booking, easy and very accommodating owner. Prompt and very nice.
The place is very well kept, clean bathrooms and nice showers.

No cancellations
Accidentally booked the wrong HipCamp location, zero refund even though I contacted host within an hour, long before I was due to stay there. All their sites were still open, so they didn’t miss out on being able to book it for that day. You better not make a mistake on the date or location or you are out 100% of the money.

Clean and comfortable! Very quiet and peaceful. I would stay there again.

Do not stay.
I would not stay here again. There were mouse droppings all over the top bunk and the stairs to the top bunk. It appeared that the sheets were also dirty being that there was bits of leaves on them. There was also trash from a previous customer under the bed. It wasn’t what we expected in any form and was not worth the price in any regard. The doors would not close completely and there was a gap on the bottom. I wouldn’t bring kids here at this specific site due to the steep steep hills on either side. Overall just not a good experience. It was a beautiful location but I would not stay here in the places provided.

The site was very nice. It is a little scary getting to the site. Very narrow, curvy road. No service at all. You will loose service on the way up and won’t get service til you are halfway back down the mountain. The site was nice and well kept. The bathrooms were campsite bathrooms lol.

Site 7 - Enchanted Forest Retreat w/Showers
When I camp, I want to be immersed in nature and removed from human interaction. The hostess was accommodating in the sense that I booked a site that was literally tent only and I was unable to drive onto the site. So she had to move me to a different site that was just big enough for two vehicles. I was in plain view of other campers right across from me and right next to the road. After having walked around the land, I realized most campsites here are not very hidden among the trees (except the tent only one, so that's on me). The road is all hill and there is one unmarked trail next to the farthest cabin at the bottom that will take you all the way down to the river. That was the best part of this campsite for me.
