I have mixed feelings about my experience, and I wanted to share with the next potential hip-camper, especially if traveling with dogs.
Let's start with the positives - It's a beautiful vineyard to immerse yourself in, with paths to walk around the property. The bed linens were clean. Plus, we had the property to ourselves for most of the time.
Cons - Dirty refrigerator/freezer, lots of mouse poo in a kitchen cabinet, a pan in the oven with burnt food on it, dirty communal hot tub, and many dead and not dead bugs that probably include cockroaches around the interior
Warning - The coyotes were active nearby, and I encountered one that entered the property through a hole in the fence (while another was nearby on the hillside) and was approaching my dog. Luckily, my dog is a 70 lb. Golden and she was adamently barking at it, then responded to me calling her name and returned to me. I reported this occurrence to the person whom I met onsite via text, and another who also had a dog.
