You can add the dog fee to your booking or pay cash when you arrive. On our property like anywhere in the woods there are mosquitos, so you should bring bug spray. We offer RV sites, flat area for tents, as well as a Serenity Cabin. Guests love staying here: "From the moment we arrived Chris was nothing but amazing. He helped us get settled in and even recommended some beautiful spots to hike/sight see. They are both so generous! The campsite beautiful and they did a very nice job supplying us with any materials we may need. Definitely coming back during the summer!"

Hiking trails all over the property, hundreds of different wild mushrooms. Bird watching, hearing ravens and hawks right here at our place making for an extra special vibe. We have two very friendly Great Pyrenees, 2 cats, 5 ducks and 10 chickens. Fresh farm eggs available. These animals are all located near the house, and not near the campsites, with the exception of the dogs being known to sleep outside the tents, making campers feel especially safe. Directions: Please contact me for specific instructions on how to get here ahead of your arrival time. Feel free to reach out the day before for directions also. If you are coming from Ukiah, reach out to me there. Or if coming from the coast please reach out to me from Mendocino area since service is very unreliable shortly after both of those towns. Host lives on property with 4 year old German shepherd. I typically leave for the weekend, however i will probably be there if booking during the week (Ill be gone most of the day though) . There are 4 neighbors but their properties are not visible, feels very private. Please be respectful of the neighbors property, they all have cameras :) The front of the property where the cabin is located there will be some highway noise being close to highway 20 , especially during a busy weekend. Tiny house: •Full sized futon downstairs, no bedding provided please bring your own if planning on using the futon. • King sized mattress in loft. Bedding provided but please try to bring your own!! • board games , cards, chess, fire pit, projector for movies if requested!!! • Hot plate, toaster oven, mini fridge, kitchen appliances, coffee . Black stone grill outside. Fire pit • Separate bathroom, outdoor sink and shower. *sink inside tiny home does not work* Additional guests are welcome to pitch a tent on the land if needed. ***Lake Spaulding is closed the rest of 2026 to the public!! ***No driving access however...the lake is a 1/4 mile hike down from the property. (bring good walking shoes) They are working on the lake so just be respectful and keep to yourself, go wherever they aren't working. Weekend Trip to Perfect Getaway with Private Creeks

Truly a great site and privacy for a family group glamp out. It had all the things yet still feels rustic/removed enough for those with varying comfortability camping. We did all of our cooking on the multi-burner grill and the fire ring made it super easy to build a small camp fire. The swim hole was still lovely and deep for late August and we definitely utilized and recommend the canopy add on. We plan to return next year!

The Platform set up is phenomenal. A great view of in a peaceful setting. The platform makes an idea place to hang out with friends for eating, drinking, while watching the sun sett across the forest foothills.

Weekend Trip to Perfect Getaway with Private Creeks

Beautiful, peaceful and super private spot! We loved using the outdoor shower and tub and found several smaller trailers to the creek where we drank our coffee and watched the otters play. The main swimming hole at the end of the road was beautiful and fun to explore. Hopefully we’ll be back next summer too!

Weekend Trip to Azalea River

New favorite stop along the drive from Portland to Arcata! We felt so cozy at this comfy, secluded cabin getaway, and absolutely loved the private access to the amazing, crystal clear Smith river. Waking up (on the very nice bed) and sipping coffee overlooking the water was the perfect start to the day, and then making our way down to soak and sunbathe with the dragonflies whizing by as the sun came out was just icing on top. The portapotty was clean (and you can use it with the door open as it is so private there), just be mindful of critters rummaging about along the way after dark! We encountered a skunk but just kept some distance and there was no trouble. Recommend doing the extended checkout window--well worth it for the extra time by the river. The host was super nice, and patient as well as we were departing a bit late. We will be so happy to return again ASAP! 💚

2 nights at Ridgetop Ranch Getaway

Chris and Rebecca were fantastic host and were just as warm and welcoming as their property. My daughters, dog, and I stayed in the small cabin with incredible views of the South Yuba River valley and beyond. The sunsets were unreal and both my kids saw their first shooting stars. Would love to stay again soon! Close to downtown Nevada City and a great base to explore all of Nevada County.

The tiny house was awesome! There was so much to explore. It is super serene and beautiful. Lots of baby fish and frogs I think I saw a weasel. The shower and bath are amazing I saw some meteors from the bath :) be careful on the rocks. I definitely recommend this spot.

What a gem! A beautiful off-grid cabin overlooking the Smith River. Cabin is cozy, has electricity. Perfect sized kitchen. Upstairs mattress is super comfy. Downstairs is an IKEA futon. Quiet, private personal swimming hole that's down a steep, rocky path. You can tell this land and cabin are beloved by the owner. If you're familiar with off-grid living, this is perfect for your stay! I just wish I had a longer visit.

Can’t wait to stay again! The location was amazing, the site was clean, the host was very helpful and quick with reply’s. The river access is a little steep and had some loose spots but for us and our dog was no issue and we spent a lot of time on the river!

The space was clean and comfy. Elizabeth is a gracious host. The property is lovely and a short drive from town. It is located in the heart of coastal Humboldt County. We enjoyed the beaches and the Redwoods, which are all within a short drive.

Great place to stay! We came in the dead of summer, 100 degrees, so the outdoor shower to cool off was amazing, as well as the well insulated tiny house with AC. The little creek was beautiful, full of small fish and a solitary water snake. At this point of summer the creek was somewhat warm too, so we didn't swim. Keep an eye out for a fair amount of poison oak just off the paths! The functional space though was well taken care of and cleared. Saw three shooting stars. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Sierra Jungle

Nice camp of the grid. The cabin was very nice. Seems to have had some updates this season. Had access to a kitchen with needed supplies. The restroom and shower area was clean and had a few towels if needed. The disc golf set up was a nice touch if you play the game. Prepare for a dirt road that lasts about three miles that takes you to the camp. The owners are very nice and nice to meet us at a local area to follow them into the camp.
