This place is amazing! Total solitude! Creeks, swimming holes and complete privacy! Very tranquil, the cabin is well taking care of and the sounds of nature was very relaxing! I would totally return! Zero complaints!

Perfect Getaway with Private Creek
We had a great stay at Joe's property. The kids loved tent camping, swimming, and exploring the area. Grandpa enjoyed the creature comforts of the tiny house, especially the AC and mini-fridge. The propane grill worked great and the tiny home had all the kitchen items we needed (e.g. cutlery, pots/pans, grill tongs, plates/bowls). The natural pool in the creek is beautiful and refreshing on a hot day. It's well worth the hike. We look forward to returning!

I love camping on Joe’s land with my pups! It is so spacious and well cared for. We did a lot more exploring this trip and found the creek and additional trails I’ve seen mentioned. Talk about gorgeous! Definitely appreciated the tiny home having the air conditioning unit when the day warmed up! Also tried out the outdoor shower and let me just say… it was relaxing and felt amazing in the warm sun!
We tried out the disk golf and lounged around in the hammock. Overall, it is just a great area to chill, relax, unwind and let your dogs run free.

Perfect Getaway with Private Creek
Joe’s land is well kept and beautiful. Grandma stayed in the tiny house and we pitched a tent with our 10 year old and 2 dogs. The house had a nice bed with bedding and tons of pillows. Grandma approved. Cool loft area that our son loved hanging out in. The kitchen had all the basics for simple cooking and dining for a small family including a French press with coffee. There was a hot plate, kettle, and mini fridge. We didn’t use most of the amenities as we weren’t sure what was available and brought all our gears including a portable fridge. But next time we’ll know!
The property itself is super cute and nicely groomed. Fenced areas with plants and walkways, outdoor shower and tub. We used the outdoor shower over the one inside, it’s awesome after sitting around in the heat. You can drive down further off the site to the river area. It was a bit sketchy for grandma to go further up the water but there’s plenty beautiful spots to sit and enjoy. There’s no shade and may not be suitable for swimming for young kids but worth the amazing rock formation and mini waterfalls. It’s magical.
There’s a path down the creek from the house and it was perfect to hang out and swim. It’s a small area with shade and the running creek flows into a little pool where we had water floats and swam.
Book this place, it’s great for all level of campers!

My stay in the Tiny Home was fantastic, just what I needed to relax and recharge. The home has everything you need and pleasant decor. The bed is super comfy, with down pillows and comforter. The creek running through the property is what really made my stay great. It’s beautiful!
It surprised me to see two other tiny homes on the property, which were unoccupied. Still, I hope to stay here again!

Wow what a perfect spot! The tiny home is comfortable and had everything we needed. The AC works, the bed is big enough for two plus some room. There’s a loft space for storage This home has enough space and amenities to cook comfortably and has a room to eat and relax. My partner is 6’3” and fit with no head bumps or cramped feelings. There’s a local market less than 10 mins away, and it’s only 20 mins away from downtown Nevada City. This spot really is the perfect mix of being in nature and close to anything you’d want to do. The property is gorgeous and totally private. The outdoor tub was quite the treat as well. If you're looking for a place to unwind, this really is the spot. Joe was attentive if we had any questions. 10/10 would recommend, we’ll definitely be back.

The tiny home was situated perfectly on the property. It made the trip feel very private. As avid campers, this site had everything you need to "glamp". We paid extra for the canopy by the river, which was totally worth it. We took our backpack cooler to the river and enjoyed our day. The water felt great on a hot day. At night, the tiny home's AC was a plus to sleep comfortably. The outside shower was also amazing. We hope to come back!

The cabin had everything we needed! It is perfectly set up for a relaxing getaway. The creek access is a very short distance from the cabin. We had a great time letting our dogs off leash and to explore the area. The fire pit helped with the mosquitos and we had plenty of wood to last our entire stay and more. We’re so glad we found this spot and would be happy to stay there again, maybe with some friends next time!

Perfect Getaway with Private Creek
This place is a gem. We visited for 3 nights with our 2 young teen sons, and dog, and we had the best time. The highlight for us was simply the privacy and solitude of the ranch. The only sounds you hear are from the river, frogs, birds and turkeys. We found a creek spot that suited us best and spent the days marveling at the nature and exploring the property. Bonus was spotting river otters on the other side of the creek.
The little house was perfect for our needs (2 boys fit perfectly in the loft- bring sleeping bags/pillows) and the outdoor shower under the stars was amazing after a long day.
We will definitely be coming back!

The site had everything we needed for our stay - a mini fridge, towels, linens, pillows, indoor cooking accessories, kettle, grill, firepit, hot water, indoor shower, outdoor shower, outdoor bathtub, indoor composting toilet, outdoor outhouse, outdoor lights, private creek access... the list goes on. It was a really nice spot to share with my wife, who is "outdoor curious" but not huge on leaving the luxuries of home behind.

This was my third visit here in the past year and it never disappoints! Lots of beautiful land and the creek is breathtaking this time of year. I highly recommend walking to the end of the main road/trail to see the stone wall and swimming hole. Many wildflowers along the way. Joe is the perfect host, as always. If you seek privacy and serenity in nature, this is the spot!

Perfect Getaway with Private Creek
The land was beautiful, with the sound of the creek always present. Joe is very responsive and helped us trouble shoot the water heater, after which I was able to take a hot bath outside (so luxurious!) We enjoyed having a fire and playing some of the games available in the tiny home, and we slept well in the comfy bed. It was a wonderful escape. Thank you Joe!

This place is absolutely amazing! The tiny home was a little bit smaller than I anticipated but it was comfortable and had heating and A/C, which made it all the more cozy at night! Joe was very responsive and answered all of my questions before and during the stay, which I greatly appreciated!
The land is amazing and my dogs loved the freedom to run around and explore. We will definitely be back again!

I had the wholeee place to myself, I’m talking trails, the creek, everything! It was perfect. Loved the outdoor shower too. The bed was comfy and there was all the basic necessities needed.

We loved the tiny home! It had everything we needed for cooking and sleeping and was comfortable and cute inside. The area around the tiny home is also nice, with a hammock, chairs, outhouse, and outdoor bathtub and shower. The creek was awesome for swimming with lots of little waterfalls and pools and striking big rocks. An excellent weekend :) thanks for having us!!

Magical! Life changing! Gorgeous! Private. This place is amazing. The tiny home is comfortable and functional and the creek and woods are beautiful. We saw lots of deer, quail and other birds.

Very private, awesome location with a big creek to enjoy. The tiny house had everything you would need, the property is well thought out with the outdoor tub and shower, outhouse, tables and chairs, swing, disc golf baskets etc. We had it completely to ourselves and the creek was an amazing spot.

Love this gem! My son and I had a great time. If it weren't for the AC I'm not sure we would have lasted the entire time during the heat spike the week we camped. So that was a great added addition in which we appreciated. The creek was great to have. That's what kept us cool. I would suggest the second pathway to creek as the best. Swimming hole was much too slippery to swim in and covered in moss and yuckies and you know little kids...lol. So we just put our 2 chairs right in middle of creek and sat there most the days lol. Second pathway had deepest area to do that and enjoy. No ticks on our trip, and my dog was safe. My son and I both felt safe. The compost toilet was nice to have, but I would recommend using outhouse for a #2 to decrease the smell within the tiny home while sleeping at night. I didn't need to pack as nearly as much as I did as Joe kindly provided most of it for coming and so forth. I left extra my paper towels and toilet paper I had brought as a thank you 😊. We were definitely secluded and private and it was so great! I didn't have to worry about my dog being free (who doesn't get along with other dogs nor most men). My son loved the outdoor shower. This land is a blessing and I feel grateful it is being shared. I can see the potential in which I know Joe is probably working towards. Good luck Joe and thank you!

We had the most glorious stay at Confluence Ranch! The tiny house was perfectly suited to our needs, with plenty of thoughtful additions to make the stay even better. The AC was heaven-sent for afternoon naps in the intense heat this time of year. The hammock was perfect for napping. The outdoor bath gazing at the stars at night was otherworldly. Make sure to explore all the different creek paths AND take the longer walk to the swimming hole! Bring some shade if you have it and a chair as it’s hot and sunny and the “beach” is rocky. But it’s absolutely worth the gorgeous setting and magical waters. The small waterfall was an amazing shoulder massage. We didn’t run into ticks, but plenty of mosquitoes around sunset. So bring protection. And the composting toilets were easy to use. We will definitely be back and look forward to seeing how the property evolves!

Really beautiful property with lots of little stream spots and natural beauty near camp. Unfortunately for us it was the wrong time of year for a visit with our dogs. Way too hot, tons of foxtails and tons of ticks. We had two dogs and my niece pulled more than 10
Ticks off of her pup. The first day before we even went exploring beyond camp she had several ticks so they clearly are everywhere. And the foxtails were everywhere as well. We would come back again but at a different time of year. Host was super responsive and the little hut is functional and cute.

We loved camping on Joe’s land! The seclusion, trails to the creek, and amenities were incredible. The mini disc golf course was a nice surprise as were a few other great features on the land. 10/10 would recommend and we will be back soon!

Another wonderful stay at this Hipcamp! After visiting in March, I had to book again because it is such a lovely property. Joe is a great host and the property is beautiful, especially down by the creek. We had a great time playing on the rocks by one of the ‘swimming holes’. It’s so peaceful falling asleep listening to the sounds of the water. I highly recommend a stay here if you’re looking for seclusion and nature.

We loved our weekend. Stay at this amazing location! Easy walks to multiple locations along the rivers edge. Amazing little swimming holes and peaceful areas. A great set up for a weekend to really enjoy the beauty all around. Host was amazing and responsive would definitely stay here again!

The property is beautiful and natural. It’s perfect for anyone wanting solitude and relaxation. There are a few spots to access the creek close to the tiny home, however, the views are spectacular if you walk to the end of the main road. Give yourself some time to explore. I especially enjoyed soaking in the outdoor bathtub under the night sky. My only suggestion to a guest is to bring an extra blanket (we were glad to have our sleeping bags with us to supplement the duvet that is provided). The nights were cool while we were there but that’s to be expected in March. Plenty of firewood is provided but you’ll need some kindling/seasoned wood to get a fire going. Overall, I highly recommend this host and Hipcamp! I can’t wait to come back!

Perfect Getaway with Private Creek
Such a fun time at Joe’s Confluence Ranch. We rented the cabin and managed to get a 25 foot class C RV parked as well. It was a great family trip. The outdoor tub is amazing. The sounds of the river and frogs at night were soothing. My 5 year old granddaughter had a blast finding constellations. Huge Dollar General 8 minutes away that came in handy for a few forgotten spices. Joe was great to communicate with and the instructions were clear. Would definitely book again!!

Great private, cozy getaway. It was very private and peaceful. We enjoyed roaming around and finding relaxing spots by the creek. The outdoor shower is awesome!!! We can’t wait to come back! It was the perfect escape.

Perfect Getaway with Private Creek
Our stay at Confluence Ranch was even better than I had anticipated! It was a beautiful drive down to the property. The tiny house had just about everything needed for a quick 2 day stay and was a short drive to Penn Valley (for delicious sandwiches and coffee!) and Nevada City. The outdoor tub and shower were so private and relaxing, especially with the creek flowing nearby and the birds chirping. The bed was comfortable and the composting toilet was easy to use. Grateful that the property was dog friendly, though my dog must have heard some critters rustling around and was on alert all night. There was firewood to use, but bring your own kindling. Heater worked great indoors. There are 3 large stairs going up to the house and no railing, so be careful going up and down. The hot water tank is on the smaller side, so be prepared when bathing. All in all, we enjoyed our trip and would recommend!

It was like having a private park only better. The outdoor areas were well groomed with all the provisions to grill, eat, play under the lights and stars. Outdoor tub and shower…magical. Indoors area cozy and comfy…well provisioned and AC. Your only neighbors are wild turkey, deer, horned owl, terrapins and crayfish in the stream and maybe a coyote. Awesome adventure. So very private!
