Over the years, this town has attracted artists, musicians, nature enthusiast, writers and wine lovers from all over the world in search for inspiration. Here, you can explore Mendocino County's exquisite State Parks such as Montgomery Woods with GIANT Redwoods (20 min drive). Orr Hot Springs (25 min), enjoy restaurants, coastal landscapes and historic village of Mendocino, Ca. (Coastal Hwy 1 , 40 min away) , hiking trails along the headlands and beaches (40 min away), wineries (Anderson Valley 30 min) also hike the pygmy forests nearby in Little River. Fishing and whale watching out of Ft. Bragg. Ca. Skunk Train and Glass Beach, schedule horse back riding on the beach. *Guided Forest therapy, hosted by a dear friend. Must book 1 week minimum in advance. Plus Ocean therapy (including surf lessons for Adults and kids!) Must book 1 week minimum in advance also:) Sunnyland is a VERY REMOTE AND RURAL location. We are an off grid solar homestead. Beautiful redwood grove campsites and views for miles. Stargazing and no light pollution. Meteor showers are the best here! Hiking trails all over the property, hundreds of different wild mushrooms. Bird watching, hearing ravens and hawks right here at our place making for an extra special vibe. We have two very friendly Great Pyrenees, 2 cats, 5 ducks and 10 chickens. Fresh farm eggs available. These animals are all located near the house, and not near the campsites, with the exception of the dogs being known to sleep outside the tents, making campers feel especially safe. Directions: Please contact me for specific instructions on how to get here ahead of your arrival time. Feel free to reach out the day before for directions also. If you are coming from Ukiah, reach out to me there. Or if coming from the coast please reach out to me from Mendocino area since service is very unreliable shortly after both of those towns. Please check in before dark or contact me before for detailed directions. Drive slowly and respectfully for all neighbors and campers. Follow your Bliss.... Kids are absolutely welcome. CELL SERVICE IS SPOTTY. Wifi is available here up at the main house if needed. Water is available at the main house, and anything else you might have forgot please feel to ask:) Campsites are private.

Site 1 has a flat common area, also a few other flat spots for tents nearby. This is the best south/ southwesterly ridge top and sunset views. It is located a Birds Eye view away from our house. Located next to the garden and orchard, feel free to explore the land. We will do our best to give you lots of privacy. Super cute outdoor kitchen set up with a small sink. Plenty of wood around the area if you don't feel like bringing firewood.

Site 3 is a walk in campsite, or 4 WD/AWD only. AWD vehicles are making it to the site just fine. 2 wd can park up at top landing and walk in. There is a green wagon available to help you carry your things to site. A short 1/3 mile walk in. Beautiful views along the way. A cozy little spot to feel nice and private. :) This site is in the forest and very nice for shade during the summer months. Nice flat area for tents. Fire-pit and water at site.

Surrounded by forest, very nice flat area for camping. Fire pit with a small grill. Lots of firewood available on site to forage from. Has a very nice walk through the valley below for those lovers of nature walks. Also feel free to hike up and say hello. Just follow the pink ribbons. Site #2 is a 4WD/AWD only for vehicle camping. 2 wd campers park at landing and hike a short distance in. I can help with quad and wagon anything you need to site. I'm happy to help get stuff back up to the car when packing up. Please let me know ahead of time if you would like help with your things down to the camp or up. Site 2 is an area with lots of room to spread out. This is a great site for multiple friends and family too!

Orchard Camp is located just down from our home, in the lower part of our garden/orchard. It has a private unique feeling. Perfect for a couple or solo campers, that are more community oriented while sharing our space. Next to the seasonal Raspberries, Apples and Cherry trees. Also blackberries. Small view of the mountains across the way. Kid swings also. Park above by the roses or nearby , Not a far walk in for your things. Hose is available for washing.

This TINY "glamping" cabin has a full bed with a wood stove, fresh sheets, down comforter, extra blankets & towels. Power to charge electronics. .A table and chair inside. Small inside electric coffee maker. OUTDOOR kitchen w/propane stove top for cooking, pots/ pans, kettle for boiling water. Utensils, plates, glasses and silverware. Sink with hot water... plus outside dining table with chairs on back deck.. Outdoor seasonal fire pit with a grill for cooking with fire. This cabin gets so toasty warm from the fireplace...so no need to worry about being cold. No other heat other than the fireplace..... For an extra charge arrive with the fire going and cabin all cozy... Private hot OUTDOOR propane shower with great forest views, also very comfortable in summer after a day of hiking or at the beach... heated with solar and or propane. Get a cozy fire going in winter to keep the chill off after a shower.... A private back deck with amazing south-westerly sunset views, and amazing for stargazing!!! You may feel free to add extra campers to sleep on the back deck. Or pitch a tent nearby....Or if you prefer to sleep on deck you're more than welcome. Private outhouse with wonderful forest views. It is a little ways downhill from the cabin. Flat terraces below cabin for additional campers. Enjoy the property, and hike down to the meadow below, follow the pink ribbons so you don't get lost:) Happy to give recommendations of nearby and coastal activities. * This cabin is located NEAR OUR HOUSE...We are very busy and it is not our main priority to bother you :) Giving respectful space.... * No we do not have a hot tub. Orr Hot Springs is 25 min away. Call them ahead of time to reserve day use. * Wifi is not great for streaming in cabin, I like to offer it so guests don't feel so out in the middle of nowhere and are able to communicate or use to research the area:) Remembering its a time to be in touch with nature.... Or veg out , not trying to tell you what to do on your vacation :) * It is very dark at night with no street lights... bring a flashlight :) * Cell service is very spotty at this cabin.. * Propane provided * Grilling utensils and marshmallow skewers included. * Wood now included :) * Paper for starting fires available....

Tiny Glamping Cabin
Host was very accommodating and polite this was an amazing experience I booked for my girlfriends birthday and she had a great time The fire ban was a bummer but luckily the first night we were able to have one and get our fix of s’mores. The two dogs echo and Chloe were loving and didn’t bother us too much at all . Overall this was an 11/10 experience and I would definitely come back .

We had the best time crafting and relaxing under the trees. There was shade and water and the pit toilet was great. Sunny brought us eggs from her chickens which were excellent. She was a friendly host with good local recommendations.

My daughter and I stayed at the tiny cabin it was an absolute dream. The cabin it so cute and cozy with great views. There is a hiking trail you are able to explore and fruit trees and blackberries you are able to pick and eat fresh. Sunny was an amazing host she provided great amenities for the tiny cabin and had everything I needed for cooking pots pans knoge etc. She was so friendly and helpful providing great recommendations of places to go. She ever has fresh chicken eggs to purchase that are amazing. I can't recommend coming and staying at the tiny cabine for a great glamping experience. I will be returning again!

Great site tucked away and totally off the grid! Sunny was very hospitable and her directions were great. We eventually made it up the little hill to our site in a 2 wheel drive truck but 4 wheel drive would definitely be more ideal. There was a faucet for non drinking water access which was great for washing hands or putting out the fire. Would recommend this spot!

Sunny and her boys are very welcoming. She gave some great suggestions about what to do in the area. The Tiny Glamping Cabin is very cosy with great mattress on the bed. Beautiful deck with a view. Chloe and Echo are wonderful dogs. The outdoor kitchen is well equipped. We loved Orr Hot Springs and the Comptche Father's day barbecue (another one of Sunny’s suggestions!).

Friendliest little mountain stay!

Such a cute place! The drive up is scenic, and the view off the balcony is gorgeous. Outdoor shower felt like a dream. Sunny was one of the friendliest, loveliest hosts I’ve ever had. Adored her kids and sweet sweet dogs. Echo bravely protected the land from late night critters and stayed by us at our campfire 🥹 would absolutely stay here again!

My boyfriend and I picked Ridge Top view site for a weekend in June. What an Incredible view right from our camp site. The area surrounding the campsite was so secluded, serene, and peaceful. Same thing goes for Sunny’s property. The best part about the camp site was her two dogs there for company and even guarded our tent at night. We also really enjoyed the running water sink area for dishes, the private feel compared to normal camp sites, and getting to meet and chat with Sunny and her kids. What a lovely experience and I definitely would recommend her place for anyone to go. We will be back in the future !! We drove over to Mendocino coast for the last day after check out, great idea for your stay!

My husband and I had such a wonderful stay at the Tiny Cabin. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at peace. The property is beautiful, quiet, and full of charm, with lovely animals and the sweetest dogs that made us feel right at home. The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and thoughtful, and it was clear how much care has gone into creating such a special place. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and we especially appreciated the balance of cozy amenities and being surrounded by nature. We spent our time relaxing, exploring the area, enjoying the scenery, and simply slowing down. Waking up to the sounds of nature and ending the day under the stars was exactly what we needed. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with a warm host, beautiful surroundings, and plenty of tranquility, this is a place we’d happily return to.

Awesome spot! Would definitely come back and tryout the other sites available. If you stay here make sure you take the hike down to the valley, it’s a short hike but absolutely beautiful. Sunny’s hospitality was great and her hard working puppies kept us safe all weekend. Thanks again!!

The glamping cabin was a great decision for me and my wife! The host was super friendly, and it felt more like visiting family than staying at some random camp. The outdoor kitchen was super cute and functional, and the shower was nice too! The back deck of the cabin had a beautiful view.

The Sunnyland camp was so wonderful and secluded, we had a great stay. We stayed in the Redwood area. The big dogs were a little surprising at first but were very loving. We could hear neighbors that were a bit loud at night, but they were not raucous. This is not quite like dispersed camping. The area had no wind, and despite the spring right next to us, the mosquitos were not bad. A little site map would have been helpful instead a long-winded message to find the right site. There's a lot to look at when you enter.

Sweetest little rustic cabin with a beautiful view from back deck, and a really charming little outdoor shower/kitchen area. We were so cozy under the down comforter with a fire in the wood stove. Sunny is a super friendly and welcoming host and the dogs Echo and Chloe could not be more adorable/energetic hiking companions :)

Sunny and her family are very nice and welcoming. The site itself is clean with a nice view and the available sink and water make things easy. The pit toilet is very outdoors but private enough with sheets and a shelter. I personally loved that. The star link works at your site for Wi-Fi. I have a Mazda 3 front wheel drive that got a little stuck coming from the lower campground area even though the ground was pretty dry, Sunny helped push me out and it was fine.

This was a great trip to get outside of any hustle and bustle! Had a great time with echo and Chloe who protected us at night and had a great fire experience. I would recommend bringing toilet paper as the toilets are very much in the wild. Overall cool site and a great time.

I loved staying in the little cabin! The accommodations were perfect and the views were beautiful. It was close to plenty of hiking trails and we had a fun time exploring. Sunny was so sweet and made sure that we were comfortable during our stay. Waking up in the morning to a lovely view, a hot shower, friendly dogs, and kind people made the experience perfect :) Highly recommend—I already want to go back!!

we had an amazing time on Sunny’s property! it was a last minute book, she was very accommodating. we ended up accidentally camping at the wrong site the first night, make sure to THOROUGHLY read and respect all her helpful directions! camp sites well kept, easy to access with AWD. her family and dogs are very friendly. simple latrine at site. water access. we will be back! thanks again Sunny ❤️💛🧡🩷

Well maintained camp sites and a lovely cabin in such a gorgeous spot. Sunny was very kind and accommodating and we had so much fun playing with the kids and all the friendly animals. Well-kept pit toilets, potable water, and an outdoor shower and propane stove with the cabin. WiFi worked decently well and sunny gave us great reccomendations of nearby hikes and attractions. Felt 100% safe as two young female travelers .10/10 would reccomend and will be returning!!

Everything was great at this tiny cabin! The directions provided before arrival was clear, the road is good and the driveway down to the property is a little uneven but totally fine with a 2wd, no problems at all. Great view from the deck and nice area to walk around. Kitchen well equipped, and plenty of blankets and firewood provided to stay warm and cozy inside the cabin. The outdoor toilet was clean and conveniently located just steps away, way closer than I’d thought. It was lovely meeting Sunny and her sons, as well as her very friendly dogs :) thanks again!

Super comfortable and cute little cabin! Everything we needed was there! A great spot to spend the days either just relaxing and/or to take a day trip to Mendocino (30-45 mins out). If you have a low car or a not so powerful car, the driveway is a little rough so careful!

We had a wonderful time at Sunnyland and were so happy with the site! We loved being able to cozy up next to a fire inside the cabin, and making our coffee & enjoying our meals in the outdoor kitchen space. The back deck to the cabin offers a breathtakingly beautiful view as well. It was such a peaceful experience and Sunny is an excellent host. I highly recommend if you want a getaway close to the coast. Thanks for the perfect holiday! We had such a relaxing time and will definitely be back.

The tiny cabin is super cute and the bed is comfy. The view from the porch is amazing! We got lucky and got a clear night for the Geminid meteor shower and saw lots of shooting stars! I’m not always a “people person” but I loved meeting Sunny who is just the nicest! All the people and critters on Sunnyland are great! I will say, if you don’t like hearing kids at play or if you are afraid of super big, sweet dogs this may not be the place for you. Also, I couldn’t get the WiFi to work, but admittedly didn’t try too hard as there were better things to do than look at my phone! Oh, I also got a chance to look at the campsites and they are all very nice too. Next time we visit during nice weather I think we might try out the RidgeTop site!
