Welcome to Wise Oak Farm, a unique tiny house compound on 5 acres located between Santa Rosa and Sebastopol. The stay area consists of four buildings, the main one being a super cozy tiny house built on a 16' trailer, filled with custom woodwork and unique details. It sleeps up to four and has a kitchen (sink, microwave/oven, mini fridge, and propane stove) and small dining area. Immediately adjacent is a luxury "outhouse" with full sized hot shower and a composting toilet. There is an additional converted farm shed with a pull out couch and TV to relax comfortably indoors (the "rec room"). The outdoor area consists of a breakfast patio and large barn with couches and dining table.
We are just starting to develop the property as a working farm. Currently we have a dozen chickens, 30+ fruit trees, and cows pasturing in the main field.
The location is fantastic for exploring the area. In the middle of wine country, it's only a thirty minute drive to the coast or to the redwoods, and one hour from San Francisco. Plus easy access to the bike path leading to both Santa Rosa and Sebastopol.
Weather issues: The tiny house has heating but no AC, which is not normally an issue unless daytime temperatures are in the mid 90s or higher. Summer nighttime temps are usually in the 50s and the space cools rapidly with windows open. The rec room has both heating and AC, which can be slept in in the case of extreme temperatures. In the winter, heavy rainfall can make the stay unpleasant as you need to move outside frequently between buildings.

Hello all! If you're looking for some glamping with creature comforts, while just being 10 minutes away from restaurants. This is the place for you. We are a 5 acre property and home surrounded by tall redwood and oak trees. Very green and lots of shade. These are the amenities/facilities you will have free access to: Pool, Pool chairs and umbrellas, Deck area with sunset view, Trampolines, and hammocks.
There is not cooking allowed by or at any of the common areas, due to flies and critters. Cooking and eating is only allowed by your sites and not in any common areas: Hammocks, Trampolines, Pool Area, tables, sink, and deck please follow this rule because we want to prevent our shared areas to be fly and bug infested. We are still working on ridding the flies and cleaning. (please try to bring prepackaged food or something easy. If anything you can drive 10 minutes to nearby food and grocery). In the past we let people cook and eat around the pool but now our whole property is fly infested and I find scattered leftovers on the ground. Thanks for understanding.
THERE IS A 1-2 MINUTE HIKE TO THE CAMPSITES 1-5!
Poolside campsites are closer to the parking and are bigger.

Our property offers a pool, and trampolines for the kids. We have a deck patio area that overlooks an amazing view of the redwood forest. Most of our guests are those that come from foreign countries and they all LOVE the property. I love leaving a great impression of our area.

"Jenny" (she arrived from Virginia) offers 120 square feet of cozy living space that you enter though a private lush garden. She's situated in the driveway of a quiet and safe residential block that I have called home for more than three decades.
She is 8-by-13 feet, 13 feet high in the kitchen/dining area, 6-foot-9 inches high in the bathroom & living area. You will need to be able to climb a ladder to access the sleeping area, so it is not suitable for anyone with restricted mobility. Also, the loft is 34 1/2 inches from the peak to the top of the mattress—if you are claustrophobic or plus-sized or both, it might feel tight.
She features a full-size shower, a dry toilet, a sink, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishes/utensils, AC/heater & a cozy sitting area with Moroccan poufs. Healthy snacks, tea, coffee, creamers, sweeteners & filtered water are provided.
Jenny is a private space separate from the main house.
The fenced-in garden has a dining table & chairs, 2 Adirondack chairs & a hammock & room to store bikes safely.
Local trail maps provided for hiking & biking adventures.
A weather-proof locked storage unit can hold luggage & other items safely to free up space in the tiny house during your stay. There is one dedicated off-street parking spot.
Please note that the nightly fee includes the City of Mill Valley's 10% transient occupancy tax & 2% tourism tax, which means you'll be staying in a unique property in Southern Marin for under $100 a night.
Please note this space is NOT safe for children under age 8—the ladder is steep & there is no railing on the sleeping loft area— not appropriate for your beloved furry friend as I have a dog .

Stayed here with a friend visiting from out of town for a night and we really enjoyed our time at the Wise Oak Farm Tiny House. Between the house, rec room, barn and farm, there wasn’t a dull moment and it felt more like spending time at a friend’s home than an unfamiliar rental. The house is just a short drive to Sebastopol and Santa Rosa downtown for convenient access to restaurants and entertainment. But once at the house, you feel like you’re hours away from the hustle and have nature’s beauty to enjoy. The place is clean, well decorated and provided sufficient amenities. My friend and I also discussed staying here again for future visits. Thank you Daniel for providing a wonderful and thoughtful space.

We had the most wonderful stay in this tiny home! The outdoor living space is perfect, and inside, the living area with a pull-out couch was so cozy. Every detail was thoughtfully decorated, and there was a place for everything- everything felt so cute and organized. Loved the two beds in the tiny home and then another whole space with the pull out couch- The spot is incredibly quiet and peaceful; waking up to birds chirping and hearing owls at night made it truly magical. We would absolutely come again and highly recommend this gem!

I was extremely impressed by how comfortable and cozy Wise Oak Farm was! The tiny house was well equipped, fridge was big enough to hold our snacks and beverages for one night, there was no coffee, but if you bring your own there is a nice french press. The composting toilet was in a completely separate building so although it was a bit smelly when we were there it did not bother us when we were in the tiny house or the rec room. Rec room was comfortable and I slept on the couch without taking it out so can't comment on the fold out bed comfort as I did not try it. We watched a movie on the tv and it was great! All in all a wonderful stay, and it was very close to the family event we attended so it worked perfectly for us.

Absolutely adorable tiny home with great amenities. We were welcomed by a beautiful great horned owl in the morning. Quiet area, comfy bed, and wonderful accommodations. Highly recommend. We enjoyed having a quiet breakfast in the open barn, while watching the chickens and other birds around the farm. Close to a great food and drink scene and nice hiking trails through wine country. Highly recommend.

My best friend and I spend the weekend here for a girls trip and it was great! The area is super private with the fencing, clean, and beautiful in the garden. The barn is the perfect place to hang out and play games, and is even better at night with the lights. I would absolutely recommend this place for a nice getaway.

The tiny house is well-built with all the basics you need. The heat worked perfectly (I was here in March with cool, rainy weather). My visit was short, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Sonoma County. It's in a great location to visit the coast, the redwoods, the wineries, or just bounce around from town to town. They even have a few nice little recommended itineraries to get you started on your adventures.

It’s a neat property and we’d love to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the open spaces—but even in wet, gray February was cozy and comfortable.
