Experience tiny house living in a charming, private eco-friendly tiny house RV with off-street parking, lush shared garden & sleeping loft with a cozy queen bed. Close to downtown Mill Valley, hiking/biking trails, tennis, golf, Stinson and Muir beaches, Muir Woods, Mt. Tam and the historic Sweetwater Music Hall, 20 minutes to SF.
If you've been curious about tiny house RV living, here's your chance to experience it. "Jenny" (she arrived from Virginia) offers 120 square feet of cozy living space that you enter though a private lush garden. She's situated in the driveway of a quiet and safe residential block that I have called home for more than three decades.
She is 8-by-13 feet, 13 feet high in the kitchen/dining area, 6-foot-9 inches high in the bathroom & living area. You will need to be able to climb a ladder to access the sleeping area, so it is not suitable for anyone with restricted mobility. Also, the loft is 34 1/2 inches from the peak to the top of the mattress—if you are claustrophobic or plus-sized or both, it might feel tight.
She features a full-size shower, a dry toilet, a sink, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishes/utensils, AC/heater & a cozy sitting area with Moroccan poufs. Healthy snacks, tea, coffee, creamers, sweeteners & filtered water are provided.
Jenny is a private space separate from the main house.
The fenced-in garden has a dining table & chairs, 2 Adirondack chairs & a hammock & room to store bikes safely.
Local trail maps provided for hiking & biking adventures.
A weather-proof locked storage unit can hold luggage & other items safely to free up space in the tiny house during your stay. There is one dedicated off-street parking spot.
Please note that the nightly fee includes the City of Mill Valley's 10% transient occupancy tax & 2% tourism tax, which means you'll be staying in a unique property in Southern Marin for under $100 a night.

Guest access Make yourself at home in my lush, private lower garden just outside the tiny house (this is a shared space although I generally make myself scarce so my guests can enjoy the garden). Relax on the generously sized hammock and enjoy a meal, cup of coffee/tea or glass of wine around the outside teak dining table or at the Adirondack chairs. The upper garden is private and off limits. (If you are walking up a sloped concrete walkway and stairs, you are in the wrong spot!)
