This 60 acre property is located approximately 3 miles east of San Gregorio Beach in the San Gregorio area. There is no home here, only a travel trailer on the Upper Meadow. It is very peaceful, quiet and beautiful throughout the seasons.
We are 5 minutes away from the San Gregorio General Store and cafe and 20 minutes from Alice's Restaurant. We have great cell coverage for Verizon AT&T and Visible. Experience shows that T-Mobile does not work here and I don't know about the other internet providers.
There are four campsites, each with easy 4WD access. Two of the sites offer total isolation with amazing views while the third site, while in a nice setting, is more useful for a quick overnight stay with no views of the ocean or canyon. Please note that five easy-going cows (no bulls) reside on this property.
** Dear winter and spring campers, please consider using "Sensible Weather" for your trip protection in the event of heavy rain or even high temperatures in the summer and fall. I have not used this insurance feature but the description on Google makes it look worth considering:

Welcome to the Amaya Creek Redwood Campground!
We are deep in the Santa Cruz mountains and it’s rustic so be prepared! The road is all paved but it can be narrow, bumpy and steep in some areas. Be sure to follow our directions to bypass the road closure! There is no cell phone service in some areas.
PLEASE NOTE, we do not have a trash service for the campground, we require all campers to PACK OUT THEIR TRASH with them!
We have 40 acres of redwood forest and two creeks running through including the Amaya Creek which serves the boundary of our property at the end of Amayak Creek Trail. There’s also a small waterfall off the Amaya Creek Trail, but it may dry out during the summer. Enjoy hiking, creeks and small waterfall exploration, mountain biking, wildlife viewing, star gazing, relaxation, meditation and more.
Our campground has running water from a natural spring, Men and Women's Restrooms each with 2 toilets and 1 FREE hot water shower, utility shed with sink and hot water, and an outdoor amphitheater. The kitchen and washer/dryer is Staff Only not for campers. .
Most campsites allow 4-6 guests maximum with 1 car included in the nightly rate. Each additional vehicle is $15 per day and will be added at checkout once you add the correct number of vehicles you will be bringing.
Pets are $10 per day, 1 pet per group ONLY. Please add this as an extra at the time of booking, you will see the option to add extras once you begin the checkout process. Dogs must be on leash at all times!
Quiet hours are 10pm-8am. No drugs of any kind including marijuana allowed. No loud music allowed. This is a private property so no visitors are allowed, only paid guests. Our onsite staff will go around and enforce the rules.

Hello all! If you're looking for some glamping with creature comforts, while just being 10 minutes away from restaurants. This is the place for you. We are a 5 acre property and home surrounded by tall redwood and oak trees. Very green and lots of shade. These are the amenities/facilities you will have free access to: Pool, Pool chairs and umbrellas, Deck area with sunset view, Trampolines, and hammocks.
There is not cooking allowed by or at any of the common areas, due to flies and critters. Cooking and eating is only allowed by your sites and not in any common areas: Hammocks, Trampolines, Pool Area, tables, sink, and deck please follow this rule because we want to prevent our shared areas to be fly and bug infested. We are still working on ridding the flies and cleaning. (please try to bring prepackaged food or something easy. If anything you can drive 10 minutes to nearby food and grocery). In the past we let people cook and eat around the pool but now our whole property is fly infested and I find scattered leftovers on the ground. Thanks for understanding.
THERE IS A 1-2 MINUTE HIKE TO THE CAMPSITES 1-5!
Poolside campsites are closer to the parking and are bigger.

Our property is a great base camp for your Santa Cruz and Monterey County adventures!
SFO is 90 minutes away depending on traffic. We regularly host international travelers and we are happy to help you get acquainted with your rig as you set out on your journey.
We love to host guests and will happily provide you with information about things to do and see in on the central coast. We may loan our State Parks pass so that you can venture out to Point Lobos, Wilder Ranch, Sunset State Beach, Natural Bridges and more.
There is a Dump station a few minutes down the road at the KOA (for a fee).

Patchen Farm is a 6 acre, choose and cut Christmas tree farm. Since the farm is only open during the holiday season, in the off season you'll find a working farm (work being done, cars coming and going, etc.).
Patchen is located only 10 mins from downtown Los Gatos in one direction and the Santa Cruz beach in the other direction. Perched at the summit of the Santa Cruz Mountains, Patchen offers the scenic beauty of lush redwood forests and views of the surrounding area. There are several wonderful wineries within 5 miles and great hiking and biking trails. The one and only store in the mountains is the Summit Store and just 3 miles down Summit Road. She loved it, and the owners had just done a ton of landscaping which helped keep the foxtails and such out of the main campsite for which we are very grateful! We stayed here in our 16ft travel trailer. Robin upgraded our site so that we would be farther from the street since she knew we were bringing our kids. We were greeted with fresh eggs! The campground was clean. Our site was nearly level. It felt like we were staying on a friend’s farm. Close to the beach, Seascape, Capitola and Santa Cruz. We would love to come back! No dump station on site. The nearby KOA charges $30 to dump.

Amazing little spot for our first RV trip. Easy to get to. Ray and Robin were the perfect hosts. There when you needed them but out of sight when you didn’t. Let us check in a bit early, and always good communication. Power, water, washing up station, porta-potty, trash bins. A fire pit and firewood provided. And fresh eggs…like 1 day old fresh eggs!! The beach is a few mins walk away and even closer on bikes. I was sad to leave.

The land was beautiful! The camp sites are pretty close together but no one was there so it was nice and peaceful. The toilet it a pit toilet with a curtain to close it, but as long as you expect it, it’s not bad.

We had a great time at View 1, looking at the wildlife and strawberry fields. Robin & Ray we're great host, welcoming us we fresh eggs, firewood and comfy seats to enjoy the view. Would come back!

This campground is amazing. They ask you to not post pictures to keep the surprise and now I understand why. It's truly extraordinary and magical. The owners are wonderful people. Great location. Will definitely stay again.

We had such a wonderful stay at Secret Gardens by the Bay. The property is truly magical — every corner reflects creativity, intention, and a deep connection to nature. From the living walls and lush gardens to the unique structures and thoughtful design details throughout the property, it’s clear this space is a true labor of love. (Note - the weekend we were there, there were no area buyouts, so we were able to explore the entire property)

We especially appreciated how thoughtfully the individual campsites were laid out to feel both private and connected. The communal cooking areas and fire pits created such a welcoming atmosphere where guests could gather, trade stories, and share experiences. The kitchen was also incredibly well stocked with everything you could possibly need for cooking, which made the stay even more comfortable and relaxing.
One of the most unique aspects of the property was seeing what appeared to be their own nursery and plant propagation efforts woven into the grounds — it added to the feeling that the entire space is constantly being nurtured and grown with care.
Most of all, the hosts were absolutely delightful: warm, welcoming, responsive, and genuinely kind. Communication was easy from start to finish, and they made us feel completely at home.
This is such a special and unique place, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

What an amazing spot! It was very peaceful and we all felt so close to nature here. The net was really comfortable, there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. Louis was very attentive and communicated well. Couldn’t have been any better.
