Site and amenities were exactly as described. Water and bathroom were close by. Scott responded quickly to any questions we had. Overall a great experience and I would definitely recommend the site!

Great Campsite!
We absolutely loved this camp site! It was so fun to relax in the gorgeous views and explore the area. The sleeping space was very nice, and the tree canopy was very pretty. I will say, watch out for the 2 EVIL crows that live in the trees above (they destroyed our campsite twice, and ate a hole through a bear proof box). Overall it was a great experience, can’t wait to go back!

Quiet camping near MTB trails
Scotts location was perfect! Beautiful, very quiet, and lots of room. Scott took me to my camping spot; four wheel drive vehicle definitely required. He was friendly and informative about water source, compost pit, and biking trails. I will stay here again and again! Great spot!

Beautiful camping Trip in the Redwo
My wife and I loved camping on Scott's land. Our site was surrounded by redwood trees. Another group showed up to camp at the site next to us on the second day, so Scott said we could move to the site further away from them. This was an added bonus.

Beautiful Redwood Retreat!
We had the best time camping at Scott's redwood paradise. Upon arrival, Scott showed us to our site and told us everything we needed to know about his property and our stay. The land is stunning - we were surrounded by beautiful coastal redwood trees and lush greenery. Our site was very spacious and was covered almost completely by the canopy, so we were shaded from the sun during the afternoon. One of the other sites was a good distance away from ours, while the other closer site was separated from ours by trees and bushes, so we had plenty of privacy. The accommodations were wonderful - a composting toilet shared between all three sites, trash and recycling bins with extra trash bags at each site, a picnic table at each site, and a fire pit with chairs at each site. We also had access to fresh spring water via the nearby spigot, which was great for doing dishes and for drinking. The campsite is just a short drive from the beach, about 10 minutes. 4WD is definitely needed to reach the campsites by vehicle, as the road down is very steep and gravelly. It is a pretty short walk from the top of the hill, however, if you do have to park further up and walk your gear down. Will absolutely be returning to Scott’s property for future camping trips!

Site 6 - Redwood Forest Tenting
Beautiful, secluded site among the redwoods in a perfect location. It was the ideal base from which to explore Santa Cruz for the downtown area, beach/boardwalk time, and hiking trails! I wish we would have had a 4WD vehicle for easier loading/unloading, but we made it work :) Make sure your directions take you to the correct location!
