Wander into The Cheshire Grove, gather round the fire at The Horseshoe, or make merry atop The Queen’s Garden Platform, complete with bathrooms and an outdoor kitchen perfect for feasts and festivities. Guests enjoy access to all shared amenities, including the communal open-air kitchen, fire pits throughout the main campground, the stage, and showers and bathrooms across the property (excluding the upper area). This was my second stay here. We just love it. It's secure, and everyone is. We have small off-road trailers, but it would definitely be a great place for the van or tent folks too. All of the amenities are plus so much more!!!

We absolutely loved our stay! My daughters Hailey and Melissa, our dog Bailey, and I came for just one night for my birthday. It was a last-minute decision, and I’m so glad we did it. We honestly wished we could’ve stayed longer. The whole place has such a magical and peaceful feeling, especially at night with all the lights. There was so much to look around at and explore that we didn’t even want to spend time setting up our tent 😂. We ended up just making a cozy bed in the back of our truck and sleeping there instead so we could enjoy more of our time exploring. We loved being able to bring Bailey with us, and it was such a nice little getaway with my girls. Even being there for only one night felt special. We’re already talking about coming back, staying longer next time, and trying one of the other areas on the property. Definitely one of those places you leave wishing you had booked another night. ❤️✨

Secret Garden
Boat House Cabin
It was such a magical weekend at Yeyen and her husband’s Secret Garden! The grounds truly feel like a fairytale. I was in awe of all the little details everywhere. Their outdoor/indoor bathrooms/baths, plants/flowers, birds, butterflies, furniture, showers, and communal kitchen, were delightful, and provided us with everything we needed and more. Great location to surrounding beaches and restaurants, including great recommendations from Yeyen herself! Our cabin had the most comfortable mattress, linen, and pillows. I truly appreciate Yeyen and her husband sharing their beautiful property with us! It was my first Hip Camp experience, and I feel so lucky to have been able to partake in such beauty and magic!

Such an amazing property and even more amazing hosts! We absolutely enjoyed ourselves with all the little hidden spots and soaking tubs. My absolute favorite part this trip was meeting the chickens and saying hi to the ducks. The smallest chicken I name Dolly Parton and I’m still thinking about her!

The hosts are very thoughtful and accommodating and the grounds are stunning with a unique whimsical rustic craftsmanship that was a feast for the eyes! So much creativity and ingenuity and love have gone into this campground with beautiful and comfortable individual tent sites to rustic and whimsical cabins. This place can host large groups and individuals and was especially delightful for my family of 5. Buck (one of the owners) gave us a tour of the property which includes beautiful gardens, butterfly habitat, bee hives, ducks and chickens, fountains, rose gardens, hobbit house, beautiful outdoor showers and bathroom facilities, outdoor kitchen areas and sinks for campers to use along with lovely comfortable and beautiful lounging areas for strangers to become friends. They also hosted an ice cream social with live music that was fun for all ages to gather and dance and play under the huge gorgeous outdoor pavilion. I wished for more time there but also enjoyed going to the nearby beach for the day. This place is a hidden gem and one that I hope to return to to see what new beautiful things have been created! 10 out of 10!

Absolutely outstanding. Coming back to the Secret Garden was even more memorable than the last time and the beautiful grounds and incredible hosts in Farbad and Yeyen made this long weekend a joy. The care put into ensuring all guests are taken care of, the communal spaces, and the the staff who are kind, attentive and helpful are all part of the experience. We can't wait to go back!

Whimsical Wonderland
Secret Wagon Cabin
My fiancé and I stayed at the secret wagon cabin for my birthday weekend. It was such an unexpected surprise! The property is gorgeous and Farbob and Yeyen do such a great job of running it. We loved the open air communal kitchen, fire pit, and the ducks/chickens. The bathrooms were very well kept and had tons of love plants growing up the walls. With in driving distance of Big Sur, Carmel by the Sea, and Monterey Bay. The atmosphere is very communal and guests are encouraged to interact and make friends. Super cool place, but if you’re looking to totally disconnect from people, might not be the best choice. Will definitely stay again!

Cheshire Grove
This is a fantastic sprawling property with several sites and the Chelshire grove sits atop the hill, very private and the best location in the property. Parking at the camping spot is a bit tricky especially for big trucks or suvs but our group with 3 suvs managed it. There was all amenities in the site with barbecue, sink, flush toilet, a small shed with a bed, picnic table enclosed fire put. They have so much going on in the propery including the flowers, trees, birds, unique farm animals and the communal area was fantastic. It really is a magical place. The hosts were wonderful people and were glad to show us around and was very helpful with anything and everything. Grocery store and dining options just 5 min drive and the beach is just 7 mins away and dog friendly.

The grounds were a beautiful and tranquil reprieve from other RV sites we visited. Next time we'll grab a cabin or 2. Finding any relaxation while being cooped up with 3 small children is tough, here it was easy. Thanks so much for the wonderful stay at your amazing grounds. It was our second time at The Secret Garden and it won’t be our last. The Horseshoe site was amazing. It was spacious, full kitchen, full bathroom, sitting tub, bath tub, fire pit, and an area for 4 tents. Oh, you also get a waterfall. Yeyen and Farbod are the best hosts. We felt like we were in our own world surrounded by beautiful trees and plants. It’s a trip we will remember for years. Thank you!

Really unique experience. The property is large and meticulously maintained. Buildings are made of natural materials. . Plenty of places to explore with lots of little surprises. You can tell it is a labor of love and a forever work in progress. There are both cabins and tent spots. The tent spots are not very private but the amenities make up for that. This is glamping at its best. Beautiful bathrooms, shared kitchen. Yeyan greets you upon arrival, she is very warm and instantly makes you feel like family. Thumbs up. Oh yeah! Don’t forget the animals! Alpacas, chickens, donkeys, ducks.

Camping with the flowers and trees!
Caterpillar Cabin
Loved the experience of camping on the land. The property is a labor of love. Every detail was carefully thought out. The location was great; I purchased a day pass for the state parks. My son and I visited multiple beaches and the redwoods. I did not feel like I was on top of or next to strangers because the layout of the secret garden allowed us to find privacy when we wanted it and community when we desired.

We absolutely loved camping here! The property is totally private and incredibly breathtakingly beautiful. Farbod was a wonderful host and was helpful throughout our whole stay. We will definitely be back to camp again. They had everything you can possibly need, great outdoor kitchens, power, clean bathrooms, plenty of space. This property is very well kept and everyone was super friendly. We can’t wait to come back
