We had a wonderful 2 night stay at John's property! We got a warm greeting from him and his pup, Bodie, who loves to make his morning rounds. We were able to enjoy a great wine tasting & make the quick trip to Henry Cowell State Park. Overall, we had an amazing experience & really enjoyed our time at John's property. We will definitely stay again!

Loved it!
This was our first trip using Hipcamp and are so happy we found it! This place was an awesome base for us to explore Santa Cruz to Monterey! Our dogs loved it too! Super quiet and peaceful, amazing views day and night, and a great host! We’re bummed we didn’t have time to take advantage of their wine and cider tasting room but we’ll be back!

I’m 77, as I said. The sites were very small. I didn’t stay, at all. A refund would be appreciated.

The site was pleasant and as described. The portaloo was clean.
I think it is a bit overpriced for what is essentially a space in a field with no services. But close to Fall Creeks trailhead which was lovely.

Great site!!
Camping at John’s place was so relaxing and enjoyable. John was on vacation but we were met by his wonderful housesitter and we had the most delightful conversation. We then spent two days working from his property where you could chose tree coverage or open sky. Since we wanted the solar and Starlink benefits, we chose the open sky and everything was perfect. The property and the porta-potty were clean. On Friday, we scooted over to Big Basin Redwood State Park and had a truly lovely time. Highly recommend.
