This property is best experienced by couples from Friday - Sunday and Familys during the week only and is not suitable for children under 10 or elders with mobility issues. This allows for a fun environment for everyone and dedicated family time as well as quite time. We designed this property because we love to create inspirational spaces dedicated to nature and art. We brought together a huge community to create beautiful buildings using materials that you can find around you such as pallets, clay, sands, straws, etc. Everything is made out of non toxic materials, we even made our own paint out of cooking flours! Being inside these cob buildings feels like being in the womb of Mother Earth: the scent, the calm, the grounding, etc. The woods come from one of our properties and we milled them ourselves. We upcycle almost everything: The tree barks, the branches, even the furnitures were secured from non-profit organizations. We'd like you to come to be inspired! One of the buildings is there as a demonstration site till its done and we'll have the cob builder to be there to show you around. Cob working party is held by a master cob builder. We made your Camping and Glamping experience easy. We provide clean showers, restrooms, toilet paper, paper towels, barbecue, fridge, freezer, popcorn kettles, , utensils, plates, bowls, mugs, coffee maker, pots and pans, cutleries, etc. Yes, there is hot water as well with no coins needed. The campground is located in a serene oak grove area of the property. Its a peaceful getaway with an abundance of bird varieties and occasional wild turkeys passing through. Take a stroll around our 5-acre property and catch a breathtaking sunset from the hillside. The amenities are: Outdoor kitchen, 2 fire pits, outdoor showers and bathrooms, electricity in each cobin, Board games, Yard Games, dog park and an outdoor library for little ones to grown ups. In Winter 2026 we'll add sauna and outdoor tubs for warm winter experience. Your parking spot is within a very short walking distance and there are wagons for you to use to haul your belongings to your camp site.

This wagon is pretty cozy and private with its own patio. It was a crate of an inline bottling machine that we turned into a cabin by adding some arch and arts into it. The wagon is located in the corner with extra privacy. The spot gets a full sun during the day and it has the highest elevation of all. Expect a full size cozy bed with a bed lamp and an electric fireplace inside. A wooden shelve for your belongings and a relaxing cozy atmosphere! The wagon itself can take host two people (full size bed) but If you are coming with friends or family and need to put up an extra tent, there is room for it outside of this cabin. Just add extra person on the "Extra" option. Its the only site in this serene campground that has its own private yard with its own barbeque, propane fire pit and a little "bar" area. This spot is the closest spot to the kitchen and the showers and bathrooms (within 20 ft). It's the only site that has its own private yard, gas firepit, barbecue, a bar table and a couple of bar stools.

The communal set-up was beautifully put together. I appreciated having a full refrigerator/freezer to use, filtered drinking water available, and the thoughtfully designed camp bathroom set up with the choice of compost/water-running toilets and multiple showers. Everything was pristine and cozy.

We really had the perfect stay in the Frodo & Bilbo 'cobbin'. We felt so welcome, along with our dogs, and everything was clear - from check-in to check-out. Leaving us with no stress and a truly relaxing experience. What was most impressive was the attention to detail in the design of the cobbin, it really was beautiful - the pictures barely do it justice. The whole site was very well thought through, with enough amenities and comfort without being overdone. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen and bathrooms were of a high quality. Last but not least, Yenyen (+ her dogs!) is a very considerate, practical host. Looking forward to another visit!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this Hobbit hideaway! The hosts were incredibly accommodating and kind. All of the facilities are brand new and absolutely beautiful, it felt like a luxury experience! As a Lord of the rings nerd, I was happy to see all of the little nods to the novels and movies. This was absolutely the most memorable birthday of my entire life, and I don't say that lightly! There were even llamas and other animals on the property that made the experience really really fun. The outdoor kitchen was very well stocked and made it feel like a home away from home. I truly did not want to leave!!

Charming, clean, eco-friendly campground with a well-equipped outdoor kitchen and shared bathroom. The owners put a lot of care and details into this new campground, and it shows. I stayed in a “cobin” and it was comfortable and well kept. The mature oak trees around the property give it shade and beauty.

I've been to a lot of hotels some fancy others not so much but they never feel like home... have a Hideaway feels like home to be honest with you I didn't wanna leave... cozy, cute, friendly. This place is magical. If you're looking for the full service boutique hotel this isn't it but if you're looking for a truly peaceful, warm and inviting place to stay this is the place. Not only will I be back I'm gonna invite all my friends to take over the whole hideaway and we're just gonna camp out there and enjoy the serenity and each other's company

Hobbit Hideout was such a special experience. It’s hard to compare it to anywhere else because it truly feels original and completely one of a kind. From the moment we arrived, there was this wonderfully peaceful, almost magical quality to the place. Everything feels intentional without feeling overdone - creative, charming, a little unexpected, and incredibly zen. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down, unplug, and just enjoy being where you are. If you’re looking for a cookie-cutter camping or glamping experience, this isn’t it - and that’s exactly what makes Jobbit so memorable. It has personality, soul, and a sense of place that you just can’t manufacture. We left feeling relaxed, happy, and very glad we got to experience it. An absolute Hipcamp gem and a stay we won’t forget. Thank you, Yeyen!

Oh my gosh, I can’t say enough good things. The cobbin’s are gorgeous and very comfortable, the interior decor is so cute - it smelt gloriously of wood walking in, and there was even grass growing on the roof 🤌!!! The fire pits were luxurious, and had even been setup to be easy to light (we pre-paid for a bundle of firewood), and there was so much spare kindling prepared that it wouldn’t have been hard to setup anyway. We sat by the fire and roasted marshmallows / made smores with the available supplies (all included), and stared at the stars - incredible!! There were 4 groups staying in camp including us and we all had plenty of space, but the area felt homey and community minded. The outdoor kitchen is super well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The communal showers and bathroom were really comfortable, the ‘skylight’/wooden floor nature of showers in particular was wonderful. The hosts were contactable and super helpful. Honestly cannot recommend highly enough, have recommended to all my friends and would come back!!

Loved staying at the Hobbit Hideout! This a beautiful gem of a place to stay at to unwind. Met the host Yeyen who was so welcoming and made us feel at home. The Cobbins are one of a kind! The communal kitchen is really well stocked. Bathrooms and showers are clean. All brought together in a very aesthetically pleasing way! Will visit again and highly recommend!!

Our family had a great time! This place is great for couples and families. Yeyen is very communicative which we appreciated. There's plenty of things to do on the property (board games, horseshoe, corn hole, hatchet throwing). We loved sitting by the campfire and looking up at the night sky through the roof of our cabin. Our cabin was comfortable. This was our first time here so we brought our own cookware and shower supplies but plenty of items are already provided for you on the property (pots/pans, shampoo/conditioner, etc.). There's no places to hike on the property but there are plenty of trails and other things to do nearby. We came for the 4th of July to get away from fireworks because our dogs don't do well with fireworks. We could still hear and see fireworks from a distance but it wasn't too loud and our dogs were fine. We definitely plan on going back again!

Stayed here with my husband and 8 month old for Father’s Day weekend and we had a great time. The dwellings are so nicely done, bathrooms are nice for outdoor amenities, and the full kitchen is a nice plus. Kid friendly and comfortable. We’d definitely stay again.

Better Than the Pictures!

The pictures don't do it justice! The Hobbit Hideout is truly magical and exceeded our expectations in every way! Yeyen is an incredibly gracious host, and you can tell she's poured her heart into every detail to make each guest's stay comfortbale, unique, and memorable. We especially loved making popcorn over the fire pit with the whirlybird popper while relaxing in the cozy fireside seating. The Took Nook was charming, beautifully designed, and felt like stepping into a real Hobbit home. Just as important, the bed was very comfortable, the showers had plenty of hot water, and everything was clean and thoughtfully prepared. Even our Golden Retriever felt welcome and had a wonderful time exploring the property. This was one of the most unique places we've ever stayued, and we'll definitely be recommending it to our friends and family. We can't wait to come back! P.S. - If you are looking for a great meal nearby, head down the hill into town to Ozzy's Pizzeria, delicious wood fired pizza with a very cool vibe!

The space had everything you could need — hot showers, a spotless bathroom, fully stocked kitchen, and a cozy bed. Firewood is available on site as an add-on which makes for a convenient campfire evening under the stars. 🔥 The highlight was getting to meet Miguel, who was warm, welcoming, and passionate about what he's building here. He showed us the new Hobbit Hideout spaces currently under construction and they are going to be absolutely stunning — the craftsmanship and creativity are next level. Such a treat to connect with him and see his vision coming to life. This place is magical for couples, families, and friend groups alike. We'll definitely be back. 🌿✨
