This 60 acre property is located approximately 3 miles east of San Gregorio Beach in the San Gregorio area. There is no home here, only a travel trailer on the upper level. It is very peaceful, quiet and beautiful throughout the seasons. We are 5 minutes away from the San Gregorio General Store and cafe and 20 minutes from Alice's Restaurant. We have great cell coverage for Verizon. There are three campsites, each with easy 4WD access. Two of the sites offer total isolation with amazing views while the third site, while in a nice setting, is more useful for a quick overnight stay with no views of the ocean or canyon. Please note that five easy-going cows (no bulls) reside on this property.

This is an isolated, beautiful site that affords a view of the ocean and hills to the west. There are multiple oak trees providing a canopy-like feeling along with their natural beauty. The porta potty is at the base of this ranch, approximately a 14 minute walk or four minute drive from this site. It is truly a unique campsite that has marveled past visitors.

This campsite is located at the top of the property, approximately 7/8 of a mile from the county road. 4WD or hiking is required to access this site. It is impassible when wet. The ocean is viewable to the west and a large, uninhabited canyon exists to the east. It is a truly unique and beautiful location. The porta potty is a 10-15 minute hike or four minute drive from this site. Part of the road leading to the site is steep, so RVs and travel trailers are not allowed. Small camping trailers might be okay with prior approval of ranch manager, depending on the towing vehicle and size of the trailer. It's possible to make a turnaround at the site with a vehicle under 17ft and a lower profile.

The Upper Meadow

This meadow is approximately four acres in size for dispersed camping. It has a view of the ocean and hills below. While some campers have stayed in tents, this site is most suitable for trailers and vans. There are three trailers that are spaced far apart on the east side perimeter of the meadow and they may or may not be occupied. It's is a quiet area and only one visiting camper party is allowed at the same time. Bringing a trailer is no problem as long as you have AWD or 4WD. It is spacious so maneuvering a trailer is no problem. There are no amenities at this site, so campers should come prepared. There is a porta potty at the lower level of the ranch, about a 10 minute walk. The porta potty is clean and non-offensive. The area is relatively level but there are cattle hoof print depressions resulting from the wet season.

Oak Grove
This site is very private, beautifully situated in a gnarly oak forest. We loved camping there, as did our golden retrievers. Art was very hospitable, friendly and helpful. If you like primitive camping, no toilets, showers, fire rings, picnic benches, etc., just you and natural beauty, I'd highly recommend this site!

Beautiful site! So super quiet and peaceful. A little tricky to get to with our car but Art made it happen for us. The fire pit was an awesome addition, we would definitely recommend. Thanks again Art! We’ll be back for sure.

This is a great site to relax- beautiful sunsets, quiet and not too far from a super cool general store with live music! This is basically a meadow where there are a couple other longer-term sets ups along the edge but they’re a good distance away and we didn’t really notice them except the occasional car coming/going. Art was great and very helpful showing us our site. We’ll be back for sure!

The Ridge
We stayed two nights at the Ridge campsite, and it was heavenly. It was just as advertised: gorgeous views in all directions including sunsets over the Pacific, total privacy, quiet and dark at night. This time of year (March), everything is so green and the cows dot the nearby hillsides. Art was a delightful host, and our dog loved sniffing and exploring the grounds. We'll be back!

The Ridge
This place was seriously incredible. The views are beautiful and it feels so serene and peaceful the moment you get there. It’s quiet in the best way and just has this calm, grounding energy. Art was amazing. Super friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell he cares about making sure guests have a good experience. He was available when needed but also gave us space to enjoy everything. The site is great for both novice and experienced campers. There’s a table and bench, which made meals and just hanging out really comfortable. Overall, such a special spot. We would absolutely come back.

Incredible views, secluded land

This campsite is completely secluded with breathtaking views. My dog had a blast as well. Be prepared to hike a bit to the site if you don’t have 4WD. The host is a great communicator and was very descriptive about expectations. An issue came up which he immediately remediated and then some. Truly great experience, I hope to come back again and would absolutely recommend to others!

Upon booking, Art was immediately helpful and recommended The Ridge for the best view and moat privacy. His directions to his farm were clear, and he was quick to reply every time. He met me at the gate to escort me up to the top. I felt safe with him and on his property as a single female camper. He was extra generous with offering me anything that I may need. I really appreciate how comfortable he made me feel. Truly a sweetheart and genuine human. I'm glad I switched my booking to The Ridge. It's a long strip of land overlooking a valley on both sides and an ocean view. I personally enjoyed the farmland view a little bit more;) I could see cows all around in different pastures. It's a great spot to soak in nature, which I did. I headed a bit down the ridge from where I set up camp, found a sunny patch with a great view, and took a nap. You can find all sort of special spots along the ridge which you have to yourself!

Great property. Quiet and dark. Walk to porta potty is down a steep gravel road and if you’re not sure footed you might slip. Art is very accommodating.

I have already recommended this spot to multiple friends! Great views, quiet, and a friendly host - what more could you ask for! I appreciated how secluded the site was, separate from others, it really allowed for me to disconnect and take in the beautiful surroundings. I hope to return here soon!

Great place! The views are out of this world and Art and Stas were there to help if needed but respected privacy. Feels like another world to be there yet only 15 min to the half moon bay if needed. The cows are adorable and just walk through (not close) but it’s funny to watch them. Can’t wait to go back

The Ridge
This was an incredibly peaceful, beautiful site. Had a good experience with Art's friend Stas showing us how to get to the site. There is a picnic table and a bench at the site that were handy. The views of the sunset on one side and the sun rise on the other were amazing. There was good bird-watching and coyote-listening, and we enjoyed watching some kind of cute mole thing excavating tunnels right next to us at the site. Our dog really enjoyed staying there too. The general store/cafe/bar 5 minutes down the road was had fun vibes and amazing pastries in the morning.

We camped for two nights on this lovely property. We benefited from amazing weather, expansive, views of the ocean and hills, and some great hospitality from Art. We spent a lot of time on the beach, which is only a few minutes away and we visited Pescadero. We stopped into the San Gregorio store… They had live music. It was so crowded! The place to be.

Beautiful views and very quiet campsite. Art was very responsive and gave detailed and helpful instructions on how to get to his spot. Stas gave me a tour of the property and was very friendly. Would definitely come back again!
