Magical Camp Hoppy
Perfect group site with privacy!
We had a group floating on the Russian river for the weekend and Camp Hoppy was the perfect base camp! It’s such a picturesque site with plenty of space for all your tents. It also has great amenities like multiple picnic tables, a bonfire pit, and a full bathroom to use.
It’s also private, which to me is worth the money for your groups trip! You’re not confined to a tiny site next to a bunch of other tiny sites with a set quiet time.

Magical Camp Hoppy
We loved the private feeling and facilities at this camp! We had two families of four and a dog, and felt plenty of room to stretch out. Kids loved the zip line and hammocks. Adults loved the quiet and ability to let kids roam. Be sure to check out the little yurt by the creek, and spend lots of time swimming.

Magical Camp Hoppy
Magical, indeed! The magnificent redwoods, the secluded creek with crystal clear water and mossy rocks all in an easily-accessible and comfortable setting (we were a group of 11 with 4 tents). Thank you for sharing this gem with us, Sonia. We had a great time!

Magical Camp Hoppy
Sonia’s campsite was perfectly nestled away among the trees of Cazadero. The campsite’s description and instructions were very clear. The space at the car parking level was perfect for letting sun through and a great view of the tree line. At the same level, there was a structure for the bathroom and shower. It was walking distance to the fire pit and provided table/chairs, raised deck with a canopy you could fit our 8x9ft inside of it. Be sure the explore the site by taking the trail down the hill to the running creek. We didn’t explore too much but the creek kept going and I’m sure during the summer, it’s very popular. I would recommend this site!

Magical Camp Hoppy
Perfect for first group camping
It was a spacious place to do group camping!! Instantly when stepping foot into ground you hear the water from the creek and surrounded by Redwood. We had a few pets stay with us and they loved it too. Only problem was that there were a lot of bugs (spiders, flies, misquotes) and the pets and pet owners found a couple ticks on them.
Personally thought this campground was perfect, especially for my friends that were first timers. Having a bathroom (w/ working wster heater!) and access to WiFi really helped the experience. I loved the light structure, fire pit and long table :) The gate was nice and made us feel safer to lock at night and Sonia was a great host/super responsive. Def check out the creek because it was very beautiful and peaceful!

Magical Camp Hoppy
Absolutely the most beautiful spot to camp. Definitely explore the property and walk down to the yurt and river. The sound of the water and forest is so soothing. The fire pit and stove were super handy and the bathroom and shower as well. Wonderful balance of being out in nature and a fun camping experience with the conveniences that make multiple night stays a little more comfortable for a middle aged body.
Cannot say enough good things about camp Hoppy. I will definitely be returning.
