What a great spot to camp. Despite people commenting on the road noise, it didn’t bother us as we were out hiking and exploring most of the day anyway. The campsites were lovely and spacious and you would hardly know that there were other campers there. Crystal is delightful and gave us some interesting background history on their family’s land and tips for the park. I plan to return in the future!

We loved the convenience of finding a spot in Ashford the evening before heading to Pardise where we started our Rainier climb. We were pleasantly surprised by both the picnic table and fire pit and nearby porta potty which was just fine. We noticed a few other sites privately nestled amongst the trees that would have been lovely. We also appreciated the corn hole game near by and space to play had we wanted to. We will stay again

The perfect base camp to explore the wildflower bloom! 🌸🌼 This sunny spot was perfect for us. Lots of space to set up camp and for our toddler to run around safely! The provided shade was necessary on this sunny weekend, and the picnic table, garbage/recycling bins, and (super clean) porta potty made for a very comfortable stay.

Crystal informed me that my campsite was exposed to the sun and there will be a sunshade tent at the site waiting for me. This sunshade worked out perfectly for me since it can get pretty hot in July. What I didn't expect was the trash service! There is a trash can in your campsite (including a recycling crate) that is emptied every day so that you come back to your campsite trash-free! There was a fire pit, but I did not use it during my two night stay. The shared porta-potty was always clean and well-stocked with hand sanitizer. The site was very close to the main hwy leading into Mount Rainier. I was a solo car camping female and felt very safe here. There were a couple of black cats walking the grounds (they don't bother you, but they seem friendly). There was also a nice pond nearby. Very cute campsite.

Overall it was a great experience- but the rv site is right next to the road and there is a CONSTANT stream of traffic. Wasn’t very peaceful.

This site was nice and quiet tucked away and had some privacy. There’s room for at least two tents and you park right in the driveway in front of your site. The ports potty was close by and clean. I really like that they offer recycling and it’s really close to the park entrance so this was a perfect stay for us!

I would recommend Camp Clearwater, it’s a great camp spot if you plan on heading to Mt Rainier.
The toilet was very clean along with the general campsite.
Crystal was easy to communicate with.

Get there before it gets dark and don’t be a spontaneous last min camper like me :P

I loved the Creek camp. More private than the others and made for a serene experience while we went to and fro Mt Rainier. Porta Potties are a great addition along with the trash / recycle. Would come again!

I loved the campsite, it was very close to the national park. The Owners were nice and friendly people. The campsite was shaded by trees for the hot sunny days.

Great stay at Wilderness Camp, and a very warm and helpful welcome by Christel. Very conveniently located at the Nisqually entrance of the Mt Rainier park! Bit of traffic but it dies out in the evening.

Great spot! Super close to the park entrance. It was shady and quiet. We were in the RV spot closest to the road. The cars driving by we not a bother at all. We enjoyed the campfire and picnic table. There was definitely no cell service. I read about that in other reviews and downloaded what I needed to in advanced on alltrails. There was plenty of service at the visitors center in the park.

The site has the highway on one side and an old broken down RV with flat tires on the other. Although the grass was cut decent, the camp area had no signage or direction for visitors and had a sketchy vibe. Only stayed for about an hour and pulled out. It was a waste of premium campsite $$.

We absolutely loved camping here!! The property is so beautiful and we liked the more private creek camp especially to cool off our feet because it got really hot! Crystals was so kind and even helped us find an outlet for our air mattress & we charged our phones there as well with was very helpful! Also the location was perfect. Close to the little stores, we swam at Adler Lake and were 3 min away from the entrance to the park. We will 100% be back!

Crystal was very kind, we got a little turned around trying to find the drive so we called, she stayed on the phone with us and gave us step by step instructions. Our camp was nicely tucked away right by the creek. We enjoyed the fresh flowers she left at our picnic table. We had a nice fire. Nice stay.

The RV site is a hidden gem. Electric, water, fire pit (firewood is available through the host) large site and tons of shade! Also, Crystal was extremely helpful in suggesting local places to eat. This site is only one mile from Mount Rainier National Park entrance.

We had a great spot on Crystal’s land- plenty of space for parking and privacy from other campers; we camp with a 20 foot travel trailer. This was perfect for us… close to the road but noise at night was not a problem. There was a porta-potty we were allowed to use which we were happy about: clean and well- placed from our RV site. This site is on the road into Rainier National Park which we visited both days we stayed here- it was only about a mile to the park entrance. We visited in June (15-18; weekdays), weather was great and Rainier was not too crowded. We would definitely come here again. Thank you!

Beautiful campsite! Felt like we were in a magical fairy land with the way the light came through the trees and the bugs flittered over the creek. The perfect spot if you’re wanting to visit Rainier National Park. Note: no potable water.
