While we are no longer affiliated with the American Youth Hostel, we continue to offer a seasonal camping experience that captures the essence of rustic charm and natural beauty. At AYH Ranch, you can immerse yourself in a western-themed camping adventure. Choose from a variety of accommodations, including cozy fire-pit teepees, standard teepees, and ample tent camping options. For larger groups, our spacious hand-hewn log cabin, constructed in 1986 from trees sourced right from our property, provides a perfect retreat. Conveniently located just 25 minutes from Seattle and Tacoma, our campground is nestled on a picturesque island in the Puget Sound, making it an ideal base for exploring the stunning Pacific Northwest. Enjoy nearby natural attractions, swimming holes, and a plethora of outdoor activities. After a day of adventure, you can unwind at local restaurants and shops, all within easy reach.
