This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. NO TENTS, please. Also we have NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes.
There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm.
Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 12 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm.
The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail.
There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs through the check-in entry-way. Tilton River Studio Gallery.
Three sites have electrical hookups. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). No restrooms or sewer hookups. Garbage disposal site (dumpster) available Memorial Day to Labor Day.

After much consideration, we have made the difficult decision to pause hosting on Hipcamp for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately, continued increases in county taxes, fees, and operating costs have made it unsustainable for us to continue at this time.

Also, there is a large, mowed field, with uneven ground, a little over an acre, surrounded by forest and a small stream on two sides. Dry camping with a trailer or tenting is perfect for those wanting privacy. Bring a hammock to chill

Rainier Railroad Train and Museum begins in Elbe and does a turn around here in Mineral. The Rail Peddle Cycles start a short distance south of Mineral. Mt Rainier is 32 minutes away while Mount St. Helens is 2 hours away. Alder Lake is about 20 minutes away as well as several other lakes are within an hour. There are many hiking trails in the surrounding area.

Enjoy the privacy that five wooded acres provides. A large grassy clearing is surrounded on all sides by a forest of fir and alders. Enjoy the wildflowers that abound. If you get up early for a quiet cup of coffee, you'll likely see deer passing through on their way to the other side of the forest where they follow a narrow deer trail. The wildflowers attract pollinators so you well see a beautiful variety of butterflies and often hear the soft buzzing of honey bees.
Just six miles down the road you will find Mayfield lake which offers a plethora of refreshing water activities. Come get away. Here you find privacy, space, nature and beauty.
There is 30/50 Amp Power as well as 110. There is a well with a hose that can be connected to campers as well. I have not certified the well so its 'non-potable' at this time.
There is a new trail that meanders through the forest. Cheers if you find it!
Please don't harm the trees and be respectful of the neighbors animals (they prefer no 'hellos'). The firepit and porta-potty are available for use, as well as the table and chairs. Please refrain from using the other onsite equipment or firewood.

This campsite is right at the end of the paved county road with only 5 neighbors past it. Any vehicle can access it. There is parking for an RV and 2 vehicles.
Located about 10-15 minutes from Mayfield Lake. 20 minutes from Mossyrock. There are several nearby logging roads for exploring.
This site is very quiet except for a few cars that drive by each day.
There is a picnic table and fire pit with grill (except during burn bans, usually July-September). There is also some firewood available for use. Update: sorry but the fire pit is no longer available due to a guest burning car parts in it. But you are welcome to bring your own.
Site has full hookups: 50 amp (240v) electrical service (adapter available to 30 amp, 120v), sewer, and water (not tested for drinking). Please don't unplug the cord in the 20 amp plug. It is for a sewer pump. Thank you.

We offer some of the most beautiful scenery in western Washington. Here you will find the peaceful quiet of being "away from it all", yet in reality you are only a little over a mile from the local grocery store, restaurants, and gas stations along Hwy 12 in Randle.
We have 20 spacious sites on 70 acres, bordered by the Cowlitz River in Randle, WA. We are centrally located between Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Adams. Since we are not open for public entry, you can feel safe leaving your camp set up while you take day excursions.
We have dry camping ONLY. There is a spigot for water at the gate, but no water or electricity hookups at any of the sites. This year (2026) we are expanding almost all of the sites while doing our best to keep privacy intact. This will allow for a wider variation of vehicle types, as well as more room for kiddos to play within the site itself.
We welcome individual campers as well as groups. Many of our sites will hold 20-30 people, all in one site area. We can also accommodate much larger groups.... This was our very first trailer and trip for my wife and I and 2 dogs, we couldn't have been more lucky to pick the concord site. The hosts were more than hospitable and checked in on us upon arrival, delivered our wood, gave us the lowdown.

Our family had an amazing time at Hazelanna's property. It was absolutely beautiful. Right on the river with a sandy beach and surrounded by mountains. The porta pottys were situated all around the property and all very clean and well maintained. We forgot our bug spray so we asked Hazelanna if she had any available to purchase and she stopped by a little later and saved the day! Although we thought the bugs were going to be worse then they ended up being. Hazelanna was a generous and gracious host who went above and beyond. We would definitely return and not hesitate to recommend her property to others.

Otter Run is perfect for a large group with trailers and tents. Close to the river and plenty of sun! But shade available if you need it, the best of both worlds! Mostly grass so it keeps the dust down. And Hazelanna is a gracious host!

We camped at Bigfoot's Den for 3 nights and had an amazing time. We had a large group with several children. The site was large and private with ample tree coverage. We had a private quick trail to the river. No showers and bathrooms were porta-potties but there were plenty of them placed within waking distance from our site and they were very clean. The kids played and we made so many great memories. Hazelanna is extremely kind and a very accommodating host. We would absolutely consider returning and would recommend anyone else to camp at this site. Thank you!!

Awsome place! Lots of area the kids can play in between spots. There is an awesome river trail that is a quick hike. We love it and we will probably come back! No lighr pollution or noise pollution. You can legit hear the toads and birds! Quiet, just what we wanted. They also have cheap firewood bundles (big bunlde)on site that you can pay cash. There are more activities that the host offer we just did not participate on it like a art class and art gallery and they sell local honey. We booked the RV concord site its was an awesome memorial day weekend

Andy's property was perfect for us! It was the quiet, peaceful retreat away from the hustle of the world we needed.
Initially we were worried because of other reviews, but we had absolutely no problems at all. We have a 22 foot trailer, no slide outs. There is a slope to the spot, but we had no problem getting it leveled out at all. The property is right off of a side road, right as it turns into a primitive road. We saw no one from Friday - Monday drive this road, until Monday when we were getting ready to pull away, someone else came down the hill with their RV.
The creek on the side of the spot was a hit with our teens. They went "fishing" for salamanders and whatever else they could find. The spot was much bigger than what the pictures give it credit for. Our kids still prefer a tent over the RV, and there was enough room for them to set up their individual tents, cornhole, gas firepit. the picnic table, and there was still space.
There is no Verizon service at the spot, which was perfectly fine with us. That was part of its appeal, along with the quietness and being a solo spot. Parts of salmon creek road are narrow, and curvy, but we had no problems navigating it with the trailer.
Andy was a great host who checked in with us shortly after we arrived. We had no problems while there, and so other than telling him things were great, that was it. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Hammock Heaven was absolutely magical from start to finish! This campsite has officially become one of our all-time favorite spots, and every single person in our group was obsessed with it. The privacy and space were incredible — it truly felt like our own little hidden paradise tucked away in nature.
The river access was such a highlight and made the whole experience feel extra peaceful and special. Everything was spotless and so well cared for, which made it easy to relax the second we arrived. The host was beyond attentive, friendly, and thoughtful, and the directions were crystal clear which made getting there completely stress-free.
Honestly, Hammock Heaven deserves its name because it felt like stepping into a dreamy woodland retreat straight out of a travel magazine. We were already talking about coming back before the trip was even over. If you’re looking for a beautiful, quiet getaway- THIS IS IT

The Arboretum was the perfect retreat for my husband, dog, and I. The grounds were beautifully kept and each campsite was huge. The lawns there rival a city park. It was truly a gift for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. The owners, Barb and Terry, were very cordial and welcoming.
