Electrical, water, and sewage hookups are available at all sites.
This campsite is right at the end of the paved county road with only 5 neighbors past it. Any vehicle can access it. There is parking for an RV and 2 vehicles. Located about 10-15 minutes from Mayfield Lake. 20 minutes from Mossyrock. There are several nearby logging roads for exploring. This site is very quiet except for a few cars that drive by each day. There is a picnic table and fire pit with grill (except during burn bans, usually July-September). There is also some firewood available for use. Update: sorry but the fire pit is no longer available due to a guest burning car parts in it. But you are welcome to bring your own. Site has full hookups: 50 amp (240v) electrical service (adapter available to 30 amp, 120v), sewer, and water (not tested for drinking). Please don't unplug the cord in the 20 amp plug. It is for a sewer pump. Thank you.Campsite is surrounded by canopy of trees. Deer often walk by the small meadow of the neighboring property. Park your RV next to the hookups. There is cell reception for AT&T and T-Mobile up the road past our driveway about 1/2 mile. For Verizon there is signal about 2 miles the other direction past the Tee in the road up the logging road.

Quiet and private get away

Andy's property was perfect for us! It was the quiet, peaceful retreat away from the hustle of the world we needed. Initially we were worried because of other reviews, but we had absolutely no problems at all. We have a 22 foot trailer, no slide outs. There is a slope to the spot, but we had no problem getting it leveled out at all. The property is right off of a side road, right as it turns into a primitive road. We saw no one from Friday - Monday drive this road, until Monday when we were getting ready to pull away, someone else came down the hill with their RV. The creek on the side of the spot was a hit with our teens. They went "fishing" for salamanders and whatever else they could find. The spot was much bigger than what the pictures give it credit for. Our kids still prefer a tent over the RV, and there was enough room for them to set up their individual tents, cornhole, gas firepit. the picnic table, and there was still space. There is no Verizon service at the spot, which was perfectly fine with us. That was part of its appeal, along with the quietness and being a solo spot. Parts of salmon creek road are narrow, and curvy, but we had no problems navigating it with the trailer. Andy was a great host who checked in with us shortly after we arrived. We had no problems while there, and so other than telling him things were great, that was it. We will definitely be back!

Quiet, no really quiet. My wife and I slept so well here. No squirrels chattering or acorns falling on the roof. Very pleasant rain forest valley experience. Things we weren't prepared for upon first arrival: 1. Perpendicular approach to the site from the road with narrow shoulders, took 17 tries but that's probably on me. 2. Fairly steep pad, 2" side slope, a much as a foot low at the hitch. 3. No Verizon service, download something to watch or read at camp. Once we were set up for the site and had something to watch in the evenings, we had a great time. The trifecta of services, power, water, and sewer, are right at the back of the driver's side. Perfect layout. Thanks for the great weekend spot, Andy!

Peaceful, but windy road to reach

Very peaceful. Set about 15 minutes back from US-12 along a curvy, slim road. In a Class A 40', this road and entry were a bit tricky. As stated by host, the site is angled uphill and we were unable to level, but still slept just fine. The site is very private with full hookups, picnic table and fire pit. Andy came and made sure we were situated and then let us alone to our privacy. If visiting Rainier and Mt St Helen, realize that you can visit the northeast side of MSH near Packwood (a town enroute to MR).

Basic, clean site just off a gravel road. Full hookups, easy back in for a smaller camper, ours is 24". I'd definitely recommend this for a few days. While it's not a scenic campsite, it is in a quite back road and it's got everything you need at a great price and nice, responsive host.

It was so peaceful. Nice site. Lots of butterflies. Saw a deer right when we got there. So much better than a state park. 10min drive to Mayfield lake. We'll stay there again. Easy to find and pull in to. Totally recommend.

Andy's spot is quiet and peaceful and close to all the awesome hiking you could wish for... Constant nature from birds to deer right next to the rv. Getting there is easy and paved all the way with workers improving the roads when I was there which is great to see. This was my second visit with zero complaints!!

I loved our time with our 5th wheel on Andy's land. It was our first time using Hipcamp and I hope all of our future experiences are just as great. Him and his family were very friendly and accommodating. They had great ideas for hiking and our kiddos had great time playing together! We saw deer every day outside our camper and even got to pick some huckleberries.

This might be it for some people but it wasn't for us. A gravel parking lot. Appeared to be site number one out of one. Power, Water and Sewer hookups provided. No shelter, picnic table or fire pit. It was 6 miles out of town in a very rural area. A house that we weren't sure was occupied right above camp site.

Andy was incredibly gracious and offered up a lot of advice for trails to check out in his area. Beautiful property and a really beautiful little spot for the RV, wildlife every morning - hares and deer!

Very peaceful environment, beautiful scenery and away from city life. Dogs were happy and running around. Host was attentive and kind. My husband has Verizon and he did have full cell service. We are already planning to go back for our next getaway.

What a beautiful stay immersed in nature! No cell service is available at the campsite, but you can walk up the road a bit to make calls or texts if needed. The host Andy was super kind, friendly, and very accommodating. Don’t miss out on this the perfect get away, or do and leave it open for the rest of us to enjoy!
