Nature Camp, Cabin and Farm.

I enjoyed staying at NatureCamp. The sites are large and private. There is a small creek that is very close by that was enjoyable to wade it. The toliets are cleaned and well kept. This was my second time there, and I am planning on going again. Thanks for such a great experience.

Easy and peaceful getaway at site 7

Loved our 2 night stay in site 7! Camped with 4 adults and 2 dogs. Plenty of room for the two tents to have privacy and space to hang out. Even brought a travel badminton net and had ample room to play! The outhouses are clean and very cute! Trails and sites are well maintained with wood chips. Beautiful walk to a spot on the creek with 4 Adirondack chairs to enjoy the burbling and bird songs. 10-30 minute drive to beautiful paddlesport and swimming lakes. A few markets are about the same distance. Both Michael and Holly were so friendly and offered us ripe plums from their small orchard! Would stay again!

Incredible Trip - Will be back!!!

Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay here! We camped with our two kids and our dog, and it couldn't have been a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel welcome. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and clearly take great pride in their property. Everything was exceptionally clean, well organized, and thoughtfully maintained. One of our favorite parts was how each campsite felt private and secluded. It gave us that true "off-the-grid" camping experience while still being just a short drive from town if we wanted to grab a coffee or a burger. It really is the best of both worlds. The amenities were excellent. The outhouse was clean, the water was easy to access, and the trash stations were conveniently located without taking away from the natural beauty of the property. Our kids absolutely loved exploring the little creek, looking for unique rocks, and spending hours outside just being kids. Those are the memories that make a camping trip special. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with amazing hosts, beautiful campsites, and a place where you can truly relax, this is it. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will absolutely be back. Thank you again for your incredible hospitality. We can't wait for our next visit!

The animals were enjoyable to see and the host gave us some apples to be able to feed them. The campsite was spacious and out of sight from other sites. The creek was relaxing and had some chairs down by it so we could sit an enjoy which was a nice touch.

What a great spot! Michael was very kind, helpful. The site and creek were fun and relaxing. We all loved going up to see the animals, too. We were happy to see other families at the other sites. Everyone was friendly. We’ll be back!

The camp is beautiful and peaceful. The compost toilet facilities were top notch- not smelly or dirty at all. The creek is very pretty and would be a nice spot to relax. Site 7 is big and private. (It is slightly sloping downhill on the tent sections -just fyi)

Site 4 is an absolute hidden gem for a birthday weekend! My kids and dogs had the best time splashing in the creek. The spot is wonderfully private, surrounded by massive, beautiful trees, and comes with great touches like a picnic table and a relaxing hammock. Plus, being just 20 minutes from the lake made it super easy to add a little extra fun to our trip. Highly recommend!

A relaxing and beautiful site!

Our group enjoyed our stay here! It was a large site and felt private from other campers. The property is well maintained and it was fun to walk to the animals and creeks. The creek had the perfect area to sit and relax and watch birds during the day. The bathrooms were also clean and very nice setup for a camp. The green everywhere was beautiful. Host was very welcoming and provided all information we needed for a fun stay! Would definitely return.

The site is well maintained and really big. The tents can be on opposite sides so it seems massive. The picnic table is new and good quality. I love the creek. The Adirondacks were comfortable and we sat for a while listening to the water. Would definitely go again

Had such a peaceful, relaxing stay at Nature Camp. My dog loved playing in the creek and walking the trails. Site 3 was the perfect combo of sun and shade. Had a very special sighting of a doe and two fawn. Would love to come back!

Michael has created a lovely Nature Camp for folks to enjoy. Our site was just as described. The onsite outhouses are the cleanest and nicest I have ever camped near, making our 2 day stay a lot more comfortable. Nature Camp really has everything you could want or need!

We stayed at spot 1 and it was perfect. The spot was big, had a cute fire spot, a picnic table, and ample space for multiple tents. The number of bugs is astronomical, but welcome to nature, bring some bug spray. The creek was nice and refreshing to sit and put your feet in on the hot days. The owner was very kind.

Loved being able to hear the creek from our camp. Space was a nice size, the included picnic table and good sized fire pit were a plus The bathrooms were the cleanest we have ever seen! Hosts were sweet and they had a few animals that we visited multiple times during our stay. There were crawfish, lizards, baby trout, and an abundance of birds. The bald eagle families were a nice surprise.

When I stayed here last year, I knew I would be back. This is really a special place. Sorta has a rain forest vibe with all the moss hanging from the trees and lush ferns. I counted what I considered to be "big" trees surrounding my site, and it was over twelve. Firs, maples, and cottonwoods. You feel completely surrounded by forest. Given how private the sites are, its fairly close to dispersed camping. And yet, you are but a few miles to town if you need a bag of ice. And as others have noted, the outhouse is really something. I mean, come on, there's a little light inside and even a mirror on the wall! And who doesn't love a sliding barn door? I never knew an outhouse could be so fine!! I'm already got a return trip for next year planned. I just adore this place.

Michael has something very special in NatureCamp. I have stayed here three times. The sites are private, large, and spread out. You feel like you are camping alone, despite the campground being nearly full Memorial Day weekend. He takes meticulous care of his property and the very clean compostable toilet facilities. At night, you drift off to sleep to the sounds of hooting owls and the nearby creek. 10/10

Spacious, quiet and mostly private

This place was absolutely adorable. Campsite 6 was almost completely private and right by the creek. You could easily fit 3 medium size tents. It even had a little alcove with a very comfortable hammock. Plus there was a nice stand for your camp stove. The outhouses were super cute, comfortable and kept clean. We will definitely stay again!

My New Favorite Hipcamp

Best Hipcamp I've stayed at so far, and wow, they've set the bar high. Sites are truly big, and truly spaced apart. And, they are pretty level. Make sure you know how far you want to transport your gear. Two sites are drive in and the ones that say adjacent to big parking lot really are an easy transport. There are a couple that are farther and require you to truck gear down a small incline. There are wheelbarrows to help if you want one of those. Fanciest compost toilets I've ever seen. Spring water available for use. Chickens, goats, cats, and even a pig up near the house if you want to visit. And while I was there, fresh plums off the trees! Easy to find, although Google turned me one driveway too soon coming in from Amboy direction. Host has put up a big wooden sign with the street address so look for that. Lovely country roads, waterfalls, a scenic river, and hikes in the area. This place is so much better than the bigger traditional campgrounds in the area. I hope to camp here again, just for those bathrooms alone! Thanks Mike for creating such a lovely space!!

This is a beautiful, thoughtfully developed campsite. The property is large, and the sites are spread out enough that you very much have your own space. Having potable water available was a big plus, and although we visited during a burn ban, the firepits that are set up at the campsites look great. As someone who sometimes feels cramped at established campgrounds, but doesn't always have time to go searching for disperesed camping, this was a wonderful option. Definifely exceeded my expectations and I hope to return sometime! The host was very friendly, too.

Campsite #4 was worth every step of the trek. It feels like stumbling into a secret kingdom, with giant trees standing tall like ancient guardians. The creek is pure magic...perfect for dipping your feet, listening to the water sing, and forgetting the rest of the world exists. Secluded, serene, and just a little wild...exactly how camping should be.
