Shannon and Burke were super informative and accommodating. We booked two minutes before pulling into their driveway and were very friendly about getting us in place. Lola is the best good girl and played with our pup while we were there. Our RV was safe when we ran into town and they checked in with us on what we needed throughout our stay without being invasive. Beautiful area, Starlink access was good, lots of accommodations close by (dispensary, grocery, etc). Nice place to spend a couple nights or longer if needed. Will definitely stay again if needed.

Easy to find and super easy to back in! Burke and Shannon (and Lola the guard dog!) were lovely hosts, and so helpful with suggestion on the area. Incredibly peaceful and beautiful place to call home for a night or two. Couldn’t recommend more!

Excellent location to access Mt. Hood and all the surrounding fun. Simple, quite parking spot with full amenities for your rig and even an outdoor seating area. The hosts were a joy to chat with and provided me with loads of local info, they were also super helpful in fixing the wifi issue for me. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and grateful to have a great spot next time I hang around Mt. Hood. Also, you get FREE high level security from their BEAUTIFUL dog. An absolutey stunning pup, seriously. Can't beat this camp spot yall!

We had a great time camping here and enjoyed the quiet nights. It worked great for our trailer and the perfect location to spend the days exploring Mt Hood. Burke and Shannon were great and we felt safe with Lola monitoring the property.

Burke and Shannon are fantastic and friendly hosts, who live in an absolutely stunning location. This area is amazing in its beauty and outdoor activities, and they know some good spots to check out (thanks for the Salmon River trail tip!!).
The RV spot was easy to back into, spacious, and had water/power in a convenient location. I will definitely be checking in the future to see if they are available when I’m in the area twice each year!

Such a beautiful spot! Right down the street from the Salmon River and a few of places to eat and drink. These folks are super kind and so are their two dogs, if you would like to meet them. I had electric hookup and filled my water containers here as well. Thanx!

This is a great little spot to use as a home base for Mt. Hood exploration! The RV/trailer site in the side of the house was cute and clean and often visited by some very cute and friendly pups + the occasional chicken. WiFi was strong and hookups were appreciated. You can walk down the road to see Salmon River and there are quite a few little restaurants and conveniences in town nearby. We were just a quick drive from government camp and some great hiking and day camp locations. Friendly hosts - we’ll be back!

Good communication from the property owners. Flat level gravel site, easy to setup the RV. Wonderful that they had 30A elec service and potable water. Burke came out and welcomed us, and gave us a quick rundown on the site and some walking/hiking options and a heads up on their very friendly big dog. We walked that evening down to the bridge over the river - wonderful forest walk on the road, big trees, ferns, and quiet. Speaking of quiet, it was VERY quiet at night - we slept well. Would stay again on our trips back and forth from Central Oregon. Oh and if you have a travel trailer, you will have to get in the opposing lane to back in... not too difficult. And low traffic on the road so no problem. Just avoid the pile of wood chips. Again, would not hesitate to stay again in the future.

Campsite is easy to find. Close to trailheads, grocery, and restaurants. One side of site framed by tall trees. Beautiful, flat site; almost no leveling required. Easy in and out (for a 25’ camper with 19’ tow vehicle).

Burke was so nice and accepted my late afternoon stay request. I arrived at least 30 minutes after sunset and he was kind enough to help me back into the spot. He showed me where the electric and water hook ups were located and later came back to give me the Wi-Fi password. They have a big dog, but he’s like a big teddy bear. I would definitely recommend, this Hipcamp to anyone passing through the Mount Hood area.

Shannon and Bert are great hosts. Bert is a wealth of information when it comes to mountain bike trails and skiing. Our T-Mobile and Verizon services were pretty weak, but fortunately WiFi was provided. Their driveway was spacious enough for us to back in our trailer without issue. We had 30 amp service and water hookup. Also, we felt safe leaving out gear with their watch dog, Lola on the premises even though it was a super safe neighborhood. Looking forward to our next stay with them when back in the Mt. Hood area.

Quaint campsite nestled among the forest with fast access to amenities like groceries, restaurants, hardware store, dispensary, government camp. Only an hour away from Portland. The space was clearly designated for an rv and easily accessible. There's also a firepit with enough seating for 4, fast wifi, and privacy between the house, the rv, and the neighbors. Shannon and her husband were very hospitable and made sure we felt welcomed. Overall, we had a lovely peaceful time.
