Our farm is a very special place in the heart of Portland. We have been farming continuously for 5 generations, since 1880! Our farm has seen many changes around us in such an urban setting. We focus on best sustainability practices as well as giving our local community access to agriculture. Sharing the land with fellow hipcampers helps us stay in business as well as continue to foster our positive impacts in the local community.Are you looking for the amenities of the city while also feeling away from the hustle? Come park your van on our historic urban farm in the city limits of Portland! 15 mins to hiking in the Columbia Gorge, and 15 mins to downtown. Vineyard lined parking sites, friendly goats, wifi, plus common area for laundry, restroom, and cooking! 15 minutes to downtown, 5 minutes to the Columbia River, 10 minutes to Blue Lake, 60 minutes to Mount Hood. Our farm hosts private events and weddings on weekends in our main barn. We have a common area van camping site in our upper vineyard. You can expect some agricultural activity along with private events through the summer. We are additionally open to long term stays/caretaking for the right situation!

Great environment and place to stay, the AC was just what I needed from the heat. Not to far from the city, and wasn’t concerned about my supplies being left there when I was out. Would definitely come again if in the area

Your Farm in the City

Spent two nights here and slept well. You park in the back of a lot on their property. There are several work vans that parked there but plenty of space for my van. I used this as a home base as I explored Portland and then prepare to head to Mt Hood. Restroom and showers are near the entrance. Instructions says green house but more like a light sage color. Hipcamp sign on the basement entrance. I did arrive on a Saturday when a wedding was going on. I didn't want to intrude and stayed in my van until the event was over. Next day, no event was going on and I was more comfortable to open up my van and do a little cleaning. Overall, fine stay if you're looking for a place park.

A lovely farm experienced tucked in the heart of Portland. Gabrielle and sister, Genevieve are delightful hosts and made sure we were well informed and comfortable. The camping was picturesque with a view of the barn and surrounded by well- tended, ripe raspberries. Rossi Farms is a gem of a place and we will definitely be staying again.

Sweet little spot

My friend and I car camped here for a night at the end up June and this was a great spot as we passed through. Super conveniently located but also removed enough. Gabrielle was super helpful, welcoming, and responsive, and having access to the indoor bathroom was truly appreciated! We loved getting to see the turkeys and goats. The space felt safe and far enough removed from the wedding venue that it wasn’t a problem.
