The RV site backs up to Southwest Community Park, 41.9 acres, an undeveloped nature park in the Southwest Gresham Neighborhood (East Portland). The Park is partially wooded and slopes east towards 19 acres of Fairview Creek Headwaters. Views include Grant and Jenne Buttes and Mt. St. Helens. The Park contains a large Western Red Cedar/Mixed Tree Grove and a Douglas Fir Grove, both of which are identified on the City’s significant tree list. The Park provides valuable wildlife and fish habitat, and will be preserved, protected and enhanced as part of the City’s conservation effort. Learn more about this land: This is a great neighborhood spot to park with full amenities just outside of Portland, while having immediate access to 40 wooded acres with walking path and .7 mi to the Springwater Trail for biking/running. 25 mins to downtown Portland; Easy day trips that are ~30 minutes drive to Waterfalls along the Columbia River Gorge (Bridal Veil, Multnomah Falls) or under an hour to Mt. Hood for time in the snow!  Fenced in backyard for any of your 4-legged friends to stretch. Gas fire pit, gas grill and patio table + lounge chairs are all open for sharing. Our previous homeowner had a trailer and set up this nice pad with built in hookups. We have grandparents with a 27' RV that come visit a few weekends a year, but we would love to share this corner of the woods with others looking for an accessible home base to access Portland/Mt. Hood/Gorge +.  Note: Our driveway entry is steep, but navigable. We limit the trailer/RV length to 27' in order to avoid bottoming out. Novice trailer drivers may want to avoid.  For quick bearings if you are booking while on the road, we are located just off 26 (Powell), 5 miles from I-205 or 11 miles from I-5 via the Ross Island Bridge. The Back 40 was a great spot. Tall trees, lots of birds, blueberries at our door, and pretty quiet for a residential area. Easy to walk our dog in the neighborhood or in the field behind the house. Lyndsy was a great host, even meeting to show us around when we were 30 minutes past check in. No issues with navigating the driveway with our 21 ft campervan. Would stay again & recommend to others :)

Lyndsy was a very warm and gracious host! Her lot had everything we needed! Nestled to the side of the house we felt we could relax and have privacy. There is also a lovely path for walking behind her home for an evening walk!

Excellent! We loved it. Exactly as advertised. Safe place in a residential neighborhood. The park mentioned in the ad was the perfect place to walk the dog. Hosts were very nice, pleasant, and helpful. 10/10 would recommend.

This is our second visit to the back 40. It was wonderful to be welcomed last minute by Lyndsy. The site is ample for our over truck camper and a big plus is a place for our labs. Beyond the comfortable fenced yard are lovely forested acres to enjoy an easy walk! We’ll be back! ;)

The hosts Lyndsy and Jonathan were warm and welcoming. The space was sufficient for our needs. It was private and quiet. Easy access to the major highways into Portland and Washington. It's a great jumping off point for sightseeing. It was challenging to back our 27' 5th wheel down the slope. Once there it was perfect. Best for small trailers, campers and motorhomes. Their backyard has a great BBQ they allowed us to use and the park behind is wonderful for an after-dinner walk.

Very quiet neighborhood, great RV parking with full hook up, and great host. I had a restful night of sleep and pouring rain soothing sound. Would stay again on my next visit to the area. Beautiful walking and bike trail from back yard.

It's a great place to stay. It's in a beautiful location. It's very pet-friendly. It's located in a quiet neighborhood. Park behind Lyndsy's, is a great place to walk your dogs. We have two large dogs they love the place. All the family members were pet-friendly. We felt very comfortable at Lyndsy's. Will stay again.

Wonderful home away from home! Camper pad is clean, amble & well accessed for electric, water & sewage. Small gated yard that housed our large labs during the day. The “back 40” was just beyond & we all enjoyed our walks! The best part is Lyndsy’s lovely family. They were so welcoming and her girls took great care to play every day with our dogs to gleeful exhaustion! We would definitely recommend & stay again!

Lyndsy was super friendly and inviting. They have a beautiful home backing up to acreage. Sadly it was raining the whole time so we couldn’t really enjoy it, but we did enjoy the quiet surroundings nonetheless. Would definitely go back again!

Lyndsey's place was awesome! She was very kind and helpful and her kids were very friendly and made friends with our kids. The 40 acres in the back was beautiful. It was nice to go for a walk with my daughter and pick blackberries.

The property is in a nice suburban neighborhood which was convenient for us to visit extended family. We biked from there several places. Lindsey and her family are very welcoming. Great place, we stayed there 3 nights in our van and loved the full hookup as well as access to the park.

Easy to get to, quiet neighborhood and worked great for us to have an easy spot to drop in and sleep for the night, then be on our way the next morning. We were on our way to the coast and needed an easy stop over spot.

Had a very nice stay and will be back. Nice and quiet neighborhood and a great space for a small to mid sized RV or trailer. Only took a few minutes to navigate the driveway with wood blocks provided as other campers have noted. Not a problem at all. Full connections were great! I look forward to staying again.

Great place to stay! Very quiet neighborhood. Lyndsy and family were very welcoming and let my dog play in their fenced backyard. We walked in the 40 acre park daily! Driveway was steep, but fairly easy to navigate our 19 ft travel trailer with the help of the wood blocks. Loved having full hookups in town. Close to freeway.

This was a great spot to camp! The hosts were super kind and welcoming. Directions were easy to follow and I lloved that my dog could go off leash in the backyard. There is also adjacent land that has trails to explore & blackberries!! So wonderful.

Great spot in a nice, accessible area just outside of Portland. Lyndsy and her family were so nice! Her kids came out to meet my dogs and were really adorable. Nice, clean, fenced in yard. Great big field behind the yard that we checked out on the first day but spent the next day on hikes, etc. I would highly recommend Lyndsy’s place if you need full hookups and a quiet place to rest!

Neighborhood Space worked great for my 17’ Casita with plenty of room left over. The area/home/neighborhood is clean, quiet and felt safe. Incredible hosts and a great midway point between Columbia Gorge and Portland.
